The Yoghurt Shop is Australia’s first fresh yoghurt store,

an original concept developed by the owners Simon Reynolds and Con Poulos.

Our Greek Yoghurt is made from a traditional method handed down through three generations. Combined with a modern twist, our yoghurt has body, texture and depth in flavour.

The Yoghurt Shop products not only taste great, they are also good for you! Containing all natural ingredients and live cultures, our base yoghurts contain no cream, gelatine, thickeners, additives or preservatives.

History

Established in 2004.

The Yoghurt Shop opened in 2004 at the Adelaide Central Markets. Since then the company has opened 10 stores across Adelaide and have introduced a successful wholesale department providing our yoghurt to selected Supermarkets, Fruit & Veg Stores, Schools and Cafes all over Australia.

pretty cheap and delicious. tried passionfruit and mango& rasberry. its just like home made yogurt, i can guarantee you its pretty nice. will still go next time but buy a smaller one. medium is still too much for dinner.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the yoghurt from this place :)
This is a regular haunt of mine when I am on a late start at work :) The Banana Caramel Crumble Yoghurt is my favorite.
The staff are always lovely — and they always remember who I am :)
And I like to think that I am being healthy by eating yoghurt — not sure about the caramel — lol but the yoghurt is good… right?

The cows must be fed well at The Yoghurt Shop HQ because this dairy blend is premium.
It’s thick, smooth and super filling but when you can pick toppings like muesli and berry you feel like you are doing your body some good. Oh yeah, and as Rani said, the simple ingredients and lack of sugar, gelatine and preservatives also makes it not that bad for you.
All of the staff in this store are about 12 years old but they couldn’t be friendlier, more professional or serve you quicker than they do in this busy shop.
Bonus points go to their regular free tastings out the front of the shop. Perfect for a super sneaky micro snack!

I LOVE the yoghurt shop! This most definitely stems from my undying love of yoghurt, but this stuff is the bomb! The apple crumble is my ultimate guilty pleasure, and my usual is the berry. I do enjoy the awesome service at this store as well as the occasional specials.
But yeah — awesome product, awesome staff.

I’m generally not a fan of yoghurt, coming from an Indonesian background I grew up on rice dishes, not so much your dairy. I do, however, like The Yoghurt Shop.
Apart from the fact that I always get their mixed berry thickshake (just collected my free one the other day after 10 stamps on my card), I like their yoghurt because it is rich gourmet but not too heavy. Its texture is thick and creamy, not thin and sloppy.
Both the blueberry and apple crumble toppings are my favourites.
I also find this Yoghurt Shop to be more enjoyable than others, because of the friendly service and ambiance that the markets bring.

I love thick, creamy yoghurt, but too often they are full of cream and gelatine, of which I hate the taste.
The Yoghurt Shop yoghurts are one of the few that are free of gelatine, cream, preservatives and additives. And, they are delicious!
The range is fresh and extensive. Each choice is displayed with a base layer of yoghurt topped with a variety of goodies. Options include fruits such as blueberries or passionfruit purée, mixed nuts, savouries including muesli and sweeter options like apple crumble and banana caramel.
They often have specials e.g. two jumbo yoghurts for around 20 bucks. I’ve also bought three small containers for around $ 10 once, but I don’t’ think this is a regularly on offer.
The dips are pretty good too, although they are all cream cheese based so have that same-​same taste about them.
You’ll find this store in the markets opposite the renowned Lucia’s and next to the Mushroom Shop. Service is from both sides of the store.

This shop has a range of top treats with yoghurt toppings to suit all tastes — the bluberry yoghurt is particularly delicious.
I buy the shop’s Natural Greek Yoghurt in litre tubs to have on my cereal, a good alternative to milk that keeps the cereal crunchy for longer. The thick, creamy yoghurt is 96 per cent fat-​free, so there’s no need to feel guilty while enjoying this pleasure.
I can rarely resist snatching a scoop of berrylicious frozen yoghurt from the stall as I saunter around Adelaide Central Market.
The market is open from 10am-​5pm Monday, 7a –5.30pm Tuesday, 9.30am-4.30pm Wednesday, 7am — 5:30pm Thursday, 7am — 9pm Friday, 7am — 3pm Saturday, and is cloded on Sundays.
