Mindy’s Nails & Spa

Decided to try a new place and so Happy i did! Tommy gave me the best pedicure I’ve had in years. My feet have been neglected and he made them feel so great again!

We’ve been goin to Mindy’s nail salon since they opened a few years ago. Whether it’s been Mindy herself or her wonderful team, I always leave with great satisfaction and relaxation!
Although they offer many other services I usually stick to a Acrylic full set and a pedicure. I hope everyone can check this place out and appreciate this sweet gem we have in Yucaipa!

Did a good job on my nails BUT they need to learn some P-​R skills… these people are RUDE AF

Great, clean nail salon. The techs do great work and are super friendly. A little pricy for me, but I’ll definitely come back for special occasions. Tommys art work is fabulous, he has great visions and a creative eye. But if you’re looking to have something specific make sure you make it clear, otherwise his imagination will run wild!

I really didn’t like how they charge by length and shape. I paid $ 60 for coffin and one solid color, I brought my own nail polishes lol and I really didn’t like how mindy made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I messed up my thumb by accident and she flat out told me, She won’t do it again if i messed it up again… Im the one paying!!! Rude! And I thanked her and said she did a beautiful job and said have a nice day to her face and she flat out ignore me! And I only gave this rating a 5 star so it can be up top. I’ll give her a 5 on nail service but costumer service a 0!

This was my first time in, I walked in and was seated right away. Tommy took great care of me. His expert opinion helped us decide on a super cute nail style rather than the plain color I picked off the rack. I will be back for more soon. Thank you Tommy

I am so grateful I found this place. They fit me in the same day with not just one but two awesome nail technicians. First I enjoyed a very relaxing spa pedi with Amy who was professional sweet and attentive at making sure you were happy. Then to top it off Tommy gave me a fill, fixed the things I wasn’t to happy about with my previous girl and even stayed long after all had left to do beautiful gel polish along with awesome nail designs. It was very refreshing to sit, laugh and enjoy my time with Tommy, Amy and everyone else!

Tommy is the best! I come here to get my gel mani, pedi and he always goes above and beyond while I’m here. I barely have to lift a finger! Haha the entire staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcomed and like they have known you for a long time! I definitely recommend coming here. If you want someone specific to help you like I do, call ahead and schedule an appointment.

Amazing service, really sweet and they did a great job on mine and my daughters nails.

My bridal party called for an appt and Mindys was awesome! They opened early for us and did a great job on all of us. 7 pedis/​mani. My nails came out amazing. So thank you mindy and your staff!

I am so sad to be writing this review. My main purpose is in the hopes that Mindy reads it and makes sure something like this doesn’t happen again.
I went in at 6:05 tonight and my pedicure was finished and my sandals back on by 6:20… And that time cost me $ 18?
My toes soaked for about 3 mins. She clipped my nails but didn’t use the cuticle pusher or clippers. She didn’t clean around them. She scrubbed for less than a minute on each foot. Patted them dry. Lotion was a quick 2 minutes. Polished and then went to sit and play cards.
My heart was broken. I work hard and wanted to spend my $ doing something nice for myself and this was what I got with my money. I couldn’t even tell her I was frustrated because I just wanted to leave and cry.
I’m not sure if I will return to Mindy’s. That was one of the worst experiences I’ve had for a pedicure and my views have changed of this place that I used to really enjoy.

I tried to come in last week. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted. I stood around, and signed their consent form, which I felt was weird for a nail salon…
Still no one said a word to me. They were all on their cell phones… Important calls apparently. I stood around a couple more minutes, then a lady finally told me to sit down, still on her phone. I sat in the chair another five minutes, and at that point I’d had enough. I walked out and said forget it.
These people are so rude. There was literally no one else in the place, and I can see why. HORRID SERVICE.

Today was the first time I’ve been to Mindy’s and it won’t be the last. I had an awesome time getting a gel mani and a sea salt pedi. Tommy was absolutely fantastic! He made me feel so welcomed and always had me laughing. It was my first time getting gel nails and they came out much better than expected because of him. This will be my go-​to nail salon from now on and I highly recommend to everyone. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been going to Mindys for my gel manicures for a couple years now. I also occasionally get pedicures. I’ve had it done elsewhere before I discovered Mindys. I will never go anywhere else. Best customer service of any salon I’ve been to. The sisters are all very friendly and remember customers by name. I’ve been going to Tommy lately and I also love how he does my nails. Very detail oriented. When I ask him to come up with something to match an outfit or a color theme, he has always does a great job. The other salons I’ve been to in Yucaipa where either less clean, or I couldn’t understand a word they said, or actually made my heels bleed all over my shoes from being too rough. Love Mindys and won’t go anywhere else again!

Came here for waxing because of the reviews and left with one eye brow significantly thinner than the other. Yikes.

Tommy did it again — I took my tips off and both Mindy and Tommy did a great job with my gel manicures — problem is I am rough on my nails and broke 3 of 5 nails on my right hand! So back in I go– tips please! They are ALL so nice and knowledgeable — and artistic! Tommy always surprises me with something — check out the detail in the snowflake!
Tommy really takes his time and even acknowledges other customers. I enjoy talking with him– he has a great sense of humor.

Went there today for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure did an awesome job, so no complaint there. The stars I gave are for her.
Now on to my manicure — I had a picture of exactly what I wanted. Which was a mixture of pink nails and a chevron design on my ring fingers. Pretty easy and I’ve seen this done correctly at other shops many, many times. My mom and I were both given the same nail tech, a tall, thinner man. After making us super uncomfortable complimenting my mom, going on and on and on about how there’s no way she’s my mom because I look older and she looks so young. Which actually made me laugh, but what a stupid thing to say to a customer! He kept pushing her into colors she didn’t want, informing her of what would look better. She finally just said okay so he’d stop badgering her. After my pedicure I stood up and he continued to harp on me about my dry skin around my thumbs which I get quite often and always have, and tried selling a parrafin wrap I didn’t want or need. So, after I chose the color I wanted, he proceeded to tell me what would look better, and I adamantly said no. So then, he begins to do the chevron part of my ring fingers. I’m watching in awe of how terrible of a job he’s doing, all while he constantly scolds me telling me to not move when I haven’t moved a single inch. I finally told him I hadn’t moved in hopes that he’d stop saying it. My chevron ended up being something that I could have done myself, and honestly, an elementary schooler could have done a better job. I am so disappointed because I had heard such good things about this place. I won’t be back as long as he is a nail tech. Sorry Mindy’s.

Absolute worst acrylic job ever! And I have had some bad experiences. I went in for 1 nail repair and polish. I felt like mindy was torturing my poor fingers. She removed my polish so aggressively that she cracked one of my good nails. She was so mean and tuff. I had to make her reshape the nail 3 times and in the end I came out with a talon nail. All she said was «sorry hunny I did the best I could.» Ugliest f-​in nail ever created, I swear. And the polish job was super sloppy. And she was running around doing multiple peoples nails at one time. She filed my nail so hard and bad that she got to the flesh part of the side of my nail bed. So painful.
Please do not be fooled like I was by this place’s 4 star rating. This place is hands down my worst nail shop experience.
