History

Established in 1996.

The idea for providing an eclectic mix of cultural products at attractive prices started at Tramonti, the owners’ farm in Tuscany. From there it spread across the European countryside to include unique work of contemporary, small production artisans working in a range of traditions, as well as the finest 18^th and 19^th century European furniture and accessories. THE CLOWN offers and extensive wine selection, contemporary art gallery space and a selection of European antiques.

Wine — With one of the largest collections north of Boston, we offer quality wines at competitive prices. We pay special attention to our Italian collection, reflecting the popularity and diversity of one of the world’s great wine producing regions.

We carry delicious Tramonti Olive Oil — a high quality, extra virgin, cold pressed Tuscan olive oil in three size.
