This is the only REAL cigar shop in Yorba Linda, you can buy a cigar just about anywhere these days but you won’t get the knowledge, the expertise or the atmosphere Danny provides at the Empire

I’ve been to a few cigar places, and this is the best. The owner is friendly, he has excellent recommendations based on your specific tastes, and the shop is always clean and well ventilated. Whether you’re looking for an everyday cigar or one for a special occasion, this is the place to go.

This place is great. Not only do they have a great selection but Danny is amazing with giving appropriate recommendations based on your tastes. The price are also very good. Highly recommend.

I was in a hurry and the guy working was amazing. He was out of a particular cigar I wanted and then found a box hidden on the top shelf. He went out of his way to help me out and got me everything I needed.

I’ve been an avid cigar smoker for 12 years now and I won’t buy my cigars anywhere else. Cigar Empire has a much better selection than any other place I’ve shopped, from the low end all the way to the very high end cigars. Fair pricing and Dan (owner/​operator) is incredibly friendly and knowledgable! I won’t go anywhere else, try it for yourself.

For those reading this review, I am a cigar guy. I have 4 Humidors. I have been buying cigars for over 20 years. Cigar Empire is more than just a «cigar shop». The Proprietor Danny Saado is an experienced tobacconist. His knowledge and selections are impeccable as is the quality of his products. Humidors, pipes and tobacco, cigars in all sizes and price points sold by the box or by the stick, crystal ashtrays, lighters and cutters, etc. If you need a quality tobacco related product then Danny is the man to see. I have read the couple of reviews complaining about customer service. They could not be more wrong. These reviews seem to be written by people with little cigar buying experience and they mistake Danny allowing the customer to browse uninterrupted as rudeness. If you need assistance just ask. Otherwise, expect to get a few minutes to «take it all in» before you are approached. This is a very old school cigar store style of customer service and is the proper etiquette. Want the highly rated cigars in the cigar magazines that are impossible to find… Danny has them. Need a nice box for an event or poker game that won’t break your wallet… Danny will pick you a winner every time. Danny hosts amazing cigar events a few times per year with awesome deals. Tobacco, like wine can be aged and has to be treated properly by the store owner and then the consumer. This is why you want a tobacconist like Danny to guide you. The «house blend» cigars are a great option for daily smokes. If you are new to cigars or want a gift for someone special, than go see Danny. Walk in, tell him you read my review, introduce yourself, tell him your budget and what you have in mind and he will hit you a home run. It’s just that simple. He is hands down the best in Southern California.

I would avoid this place like the plague. Their customer service is below standards. I went in to purchase a crystal humidifier and was ignored for a few mins. They had some people in there smoking cigars and talking about food. I finally got the attention of the sales person, and bought a humidifier. He started up a conversation with me and was very unprofessional, he was dropping the F word through out the brief conversation. I ignored it and left, I thought lets give the place another shot. So I sent a friend the following day to purchase a humidor. He was totally ignored and left the business without even being acknowledged. He told me he would never go back or ever recommend, I feel the same. They seem to cater to their local regulars and pay attention to them only. So I recommend going some where else to purchase your cigars & accessories. I’m not a hater just giving my honest experience.

Great selection of Smokes staff is very knowledgeable and always has my Rocky Patel’s.

Overpriced, but not as bad as I’ve seen around here. Decent selection. Cigars are well taken care of. The main guy is very knowledgeable… if only he could drop the attitude (you should here some of the ish he talks on the regulars once they leave)…

Interested in a fine cigar or maybe a new cigar lighter of humidor… look no further. This is a wonderful shop with a VERY friendly and help owner (Danny). Want information and knowledge, he’s the man. Danny will spend time talking with you about cigars and load you up with great info. He may also just discuss the latest news or whatever you care to talk about. Light up a fine cigar and spend time with local friendship at the Cigar Empire. As far as the low rating I just noticed, it difficult to understand. Sounds like someone in a very bad mood. Try a cigar at the Cigar Empire and best if you judge for yourself. I think you’ll come away very pleased!

Service with a smile and a great selection of cigars from the highest end to reasonably priced. Very nicely furnished, like a cigar shop should be. We gather there and hang out and smoke cigars. In addition, once a month or once every other month, they have cigar events where you can get great deals. Ask the owner, Danny, to get onto his mailing list so you can find out about the events. These events are catered with great food and drinks, free of charge! Go in and enjoy.

Legal cigar selection is impressive. Many hard to get cigars available and in bulk. Customer service is ok, but not great.
Be aware of «fakes,» if you know what I mean by a «fake.»

This place is great! My Dad comes here all the time to like Robert said, Man up. Its the one place he goes to relax, play cards, smoke great cigars and have a few good drinks.

This is my neighborhood Cigar Shop. I go there any time I feel the need to man up. Usually some Bro bonding time with BBQ, Beer and Cigar does the trick for me. Although the necessity to «Man up» is very seldom for me… the service and the product that Cigar Empire provides are top notch and I always get treated like I am a regular there.
The cigar selection is huge considering the size of the place. You can find most of the top ends as well as a good selection of more affordable products.

I love this place. Have been to many factory/​chain stores over the years, they are boring. Cigar Empire is owned by «Danny,» a sole proprietor and entrepreneur. Selection is very good most of the time. I feel like Danny gives very personal service; he wants to know what you like AND WHY you like it, and takes the time to challange you to like something you may not think about. I fell in love with 80% of everything he advocated. That is a great scorecard! Can’t explain the bad review.

I understand my boyfriend & I are perhaps not the most classy looking people in the world. But on that note, we aren’t trashy! We’re just normal looking people in our early 20s & we tip well! How is it we always get half ass service, or ignored?
In desperate need of a cigarette after gorging myself at Mimis we walked over to Cigar Empire to get ourselves a pack. Sitting around the counter were three men playing cards. The dealer (and my guess the owner of this establishment) didn’t even look up from his cards or smile at us when we entered. We were the ONLY people in there other then the poker buddies. They continued there card game and conversation without so much as taking notice of us. We stood there for awhile unhelped, or acknowledged for that matter, until we took our business elsewhere.
They have a good selection of Cigars and only fancy cigarettes. If that’s your thing I’m sure they have it, but take your business somewhere where it’s appreciated not to these A-​holes.
