Art Steps

My kids LOVE art class! I am super impressed by the work they do & the excellent instruction they receive.

My 9 year old daughter loves her Saturday class. We have been going for a couple months and I thought she would get bored, I was wrong. She is so inspired and can’t wait to learn more! I will say the staff is to thank as well. She raves about them!!! They create the best loving and encouraging environment!!! Thank you art steps!!!

I am so obsessed with this program! I am an artist myself so seeing my 8 year old get so excited over going to art class makes me so happy! He has trouble listening and focusing in regular school but then I see him sit and sketch for hours and get so excited for his Sunday class! The staff is great… they really explain to the student what they’re doing and why it works and they keep the parent in the loop so we can help practice the same teachings at home. It’s definitely not cheap — but so worth it!

THE BEST ART CLASSES FOR KIDS!
I found this place thanks to Lori M’s review earlier this year. I started my daughter and later on signed up my son too. They both look forward to their weekly art classes.
The staff here is phenomenal, starting from Hilary, the owner, to Michael the teacher, to Nadia, the scheduler. I’ve been having to reschedule more often than usual but they are always accommodating.
They teach using a systematic approach and it takes time to see progress. However, I’ve been very pleased with the results so far. My kids now proudly display their artwork in their rooms and have gained a lot of confidence.
This is one of the best gift for any child who enjoys drawing and coloring!

This review was for Art Steps, but I posted it to KidsArt since it is the same location and people. One of the teachers bought the business from KidsArt. However, the same people and location are amazing. So, I am moving my review. I have also added a few of our kiddo’s pieces of art. Here it is:
FUNdamentals of art, KidsArt delivers on both fun and showcasing a kid’s talent.
Our little food critic in training has a lot of artists in her family. So, we thought that she might enjoy taking art classes and exploring what talent she may have. One year ago she began to attend art classes weekly.
Fast forward to today and she has practiced charcoal, watercolor, sketching, oil, and pastel. Her art has progressed immensely and she is having a great time learning. I have even found that her ability to apply an artistic eye to regular life has blossomed.
The teachers at KidsArt help her challenge herself. At first, she didn’t want to stretch herself. Now she challenges herself to get to the next level. In addition, in her regular education, she is more willing to challenge herself. She has taken the question-​asking skills that she practices in art class to her traditional classroom. So, by being a student at KidsArt, she is now a better student overall.
Recently KidsArt in Yorba Linda changed their name to Art Steps. However, the program hasn’t changed. The teachers are the same. Our kiddo is still loving it.
We can’t recommend Art Steps enough. This is a worth while hobby for kids who want to experiment with art or really develop their talent.
