Business Owner

Rummy Dhanoa has been a lifelong resident of Westchester & Bronx, New York. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Mercy College, Rummy worked as part of a Technical Support Team to oversee completion of each sales call. He worked for Tradeout located in Valhalla and then joined Studio Direct in Manhattan, NY in 2000. After the unfortunate incident that occurred in September 2001, Studio Direct closed down there offices in NYC.

As an education enthusiast, Rummy believes knowledge is power. With the support from his family and friends Rummy revamps his career. A Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker as a home owner & Investor, Rummy makes it a personal commitment to consistently attend all informational events, seminars and educational classes to keep incisive in this cutting edge market! Rummy’s thrive for perfection has endured him great success in all aspects of real estate.

Questionable Practices:
I just got an email from someone claiming to be named «Kavita» at this company. I will copy and paste directly from the email, and then comment.
Copied portion:
Hi!
I just tried to reach you. Are you still[ interested in buying a home?
If so, call on my cell at 914.920.2299 or reply back to this email. I’ll arrange a convenient time for you to see it.
End of copied and pasted portion.
Ok. First, I’ve never heard of this company until now. Second, I’m not looking for a home, nor have I been for over a decade. Third, I believe this is a borderline «scam», in the sense that this email implies this person knows me, and has had some form of communication with me. They have not. One of the giveaways is it begins with a generic «Hi!», rather than addressing me by name. Having worked in sales, and in real estate, I know that when addressing a prospect, particularly one that you have had communication with, you do NOT address them in this manner. It is completely unprofessional. Also, whomever this person is, they did NOT «just try» and reach me. I monitor all incoming communications to my household carefully. So, this is just untrue. I suppose it it possible that this is a mis-​sent email, but, my instincts tell me it isn’t; that it’s a crude and manipulative marketing scheme.
