My brother’s garage door had been nonfunctioning for over a year when I gave «I Know A Guy» a call. They were responsive and came out the next day. The garage door itself was oversized and pieced together. The previous installation was poorly accomplished as well. Brett Beerbower worked non-​stop to find a solution as he ran into unexpected problems over and over. After a lot of work and 2 trips, Brett had the door running smoothly. My brother and his wife finally have a functioning garage door. I can recommend «I Know A Guy» and Brett specifically if you have a garage door that needs repair.

I needed a new garage door opener as mine was on its last legs. I am a huge advocate of supporting local business, so I Know a Guy was my first phone call. Said he was busy and could I hold or he could call me right back. I said either, he said he’d call me right back, I gave him my phone #, and 2 and ½ hours later I still had not receive a call back. I called a company in Olympia. They helped me right away, my new garage door opener was installed a couple of days later. Sorry, but to not return a call is not good customer service.

I needed a spring replaced on my garage door and used Unilocal to find the right company to do the job. Now ‘I Know A Guy’ who can provide great service. TJ was punctual and professional, and I appreciated the service I received as well as the advice on how to prolong the life of my garage door system. I highly recommend this company.

I Know A Guy garage door repairs is the real deal. Our garage door broke last night so we called TJ this morning at 7 AM. He said he’d be there within an hour to repair our door and was right on time. Our door problems were mechanical with the track and cables and he fixed it right up. TJ is a great guy and doing tons of work in Oly. Give the man a call. I’ve already recommended him to one of my coworkers. Thanks!

I tried to repair the garage door myself, but I should have just called the pros to begin with. They came the same day, and got my door up and running in less than a half hour. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. I was expecting to pay much more, but the price was very reasonable.

I found them through a deal on Angies List and they came out right on time, serviced my doors and did a great job! I’m going to recommend them to my neighbors so that they can all get theirs serviced as well. The price for 2 doors was half of what I’ve paid in the past for 1 large door. TJ showed up right on time for the appointment. Great personable guy, literally had my garage door done and working in 30 minutes. Here’s what I liked about TJ and his company.
1) gave me a quote over the phone. C’mon it’s a garage door, why do you need to charge me $ 30 bucks to look at it. That’s how the other companies scam you.
2) on time
3) reasonably priced
4) responded to my quote request right away.

We were so pleased with the service we got from «I Know a Guy» garage door service. They advertise ‘same day service’ and that is right on! It was a busy day for them but they came out in the early evening. Thomas was worked so all was «perfect». Highly recommend them! Appreciate their expertise and customer service.

TJ is an amazing businessman. 2 days before xmas we had a major garage door mishap — like, it was hanging from the suspension wire. Called Sears — it takes 2 weeks just to order the door — had another local business come out — gives me an estimate that I knew was outrageous, and then tries to charge me just for the estimate! Finally, I called TJ and he miraculously was able to get the door from his supplier and have it installed that day! To top it off, his price was comparable to Sears, a national retailer! This guy has got it figured out, I wish more people were willing to do business like him. I have since been letting all my home-​owner friends know who to call for anything garage related. Thanks again TJ!

This business is amazing. I called on a Sat at 9 pm for an emergency. They state open till 7 p. m but he still answered and came by the house within 15 min. A 2⁄4 I had leaning against the wall fell in the opener track as it was closing and created a disaster with the door bent, skewed and the track mangled. In 10 min and despite nursing a torn calf, he still helped me get it back down and straightened at no charge. I will call the landlord tomorrow and recommend he use him to repair it. Recommend this business 100%!!!

We have used «I Know a Guy» garage door service twice. Once to repair a broken door spring, and once to install an opener on our secondary garage door. Both times I found the service to outstanding. The people are considerate, prompt and thorough, and they are VERY fairly priced. They do accept credit cards, but their is a slight extra fee for doing so. We have been highly satisfied and would highly recommend them to others.
