Janet is fantastic and takes great care of my little kitty. She is responsible, trustworthy and super nice. She sends me regular updates on how the little feline is doing and has great advice on pet care. She is my to go to petsitter, and when she is unavailable she is able to recommend other great sitters. I highly recommend her!

We’ve been using Janet as our cat sitter for the last two years and it’s been a wonderful experience. She is extremely dependable, communicative and just a really nice person. She really loves animals and is full of helpful advice regarding behavioral and general health issues. Our cats are not the easiest to take care of – unfortunately, one requires an inhaler twice a day (she’s asthmatic – who knew?!) – but Janet is able to care for them most excellently when we are gone. Thanks to Janet we can always enjoy our vacations because we know our girls are in good hands!

Janet is a one of a kind. She took care of my giant and somewhat nutty boy Rocky for two years. Although he had his quirks, she was more than able to handle him. Janet always has a smile and is really friendly and personable. She is very flexible and was always accomodating. He went once a week for day care so he could run around in the park and have his pack walks and would always come home happy and tired. He was there regularly for boarding as well as I travel quite frequently. She truly cares for the animals which is evidenced in all the wonderful work she does with rescue organizations and volunteer work in the neighborhood. When my Rocky passed suddenly, her kind words and actions were priceless. She is a truly good person, and I am so glad that we found her.
Janet is very professional; very prompt in communications and extremely reliable. The pictures she sends are fantastic! Her little guys Wicked and Ninja are awesome too… I highly recommend Janet and Bed and Biscuits!

Janet is our go-​to everyday day care for our dog. She is super nice, easy to work with, great with dogs, and usually is taking care of lots of dogs, so she takes them all to the dog park, and they all come home tired. I think our dog likes her more than she likes us! She always gets so excited when she knows Janet’s coming. Janet also does overnight boarding, and will pick up and drop of dogs in her car. She will also sometimes take the dogs on hikes upstate for day care.
Another added bonus is that Janet will send pictures via text message or post them on facebook, so we get to see who our pup is playing with and how much fun she’s having!

I cannot say enough good things about Janet and bed and biscuits. Janet has walked my dog Riley a minimum of 3 times a week for the last 2 years. He adores her! He has also had many slumber parties at her house (the only place he seems to be able to bond with kitties :)). It makes it so much easier to enjoy a vacation knowing Riley is so well taken care of and that I have nothing to worry about. And it’s always fun to get a picture sent to me while I’m away to see what he’s up too. Some of his greatest lifetime adventures have been with Janet and her pack. I can honestly say I would be lost with out her. She is thoroughly devoted to the animals she cares for and a genuinely good person always going out of her way to help rescue cats and dogs alike.

We have a wonderful, high-​energy dog who really needs tiring out every day, and Janet never disappoints. When Lindy comes home she is exhausted and happy, which makes us even happier! The combination of running around at the park and going on pack walks is great for our dog, who really benefits from the socialization and discipline. Though Lindy has never stayed overnight, I would not hesitate to leave her in Janet’s care.
In addition to her great work with our dog, Janet is a responsive and trustworthy business woman. She is prompt with email and text messages, sends updates via text when necessary, and posts great pictures to her Facebook page so I can see all the fun Lindy is having (and the hell she’s raising!). She even gave us a holiday gift back in December! Her prices are very fair for the extensive services she provides, and our peace of mind and happy dog are worth every penny. In short, I would highly recommend Bed and Biscuits to anyone. Thanks Janet!

Janet was fostering a dog that I adopted this past January. She did such an amazing job with the rehabilitation of a fearful dog. On a daily basis, she executes all kinds of positive training techniques as well as providing the dogs with lots of exercise and socialization.
While she was fostering Laguna, she had taken many photos documenting all of their daily adventures. She takes her pack of dogs on hiking trips upstate as well as local dog parks. Janet is a person whom truly loves the animals that she cares for, this is evident in all of the photos and updates that she will send you.
If you want your dog to feel as if he/​she is on a vacation while you are away then choose Bed and Biscuits.

Janet is terrific. She took in my cats, who never go anywhere, and was so wonderful with them. One is a pretty normal young guy — he likes to explore and check things out, and she allowed him to do that while keeping a careful eye on him (she sent me pictures). I think he’d go back in a minute. My other one is a total scaredy-​cat and Janet took that in stride. She just adapted to him and didn’t force him in any way. They had a really comfortable space, and she made sure the scaredy-​cat had a nice, soft blanket to curl up in. Janet gets high marks from me because she pays attention to the animals and lets them be as they are. She’s not fitting them into any schedule or routine of what they should do. She checks out what she thinks they want and provides that. I knew my scaredy cat would be nervous and she really dealt with him as a pro, making it even less stressful than I had hoped. I really appreciate the work she does.

I can’t say enough good things about Janet and her business. I was going to be on vacation for a week and needed a place for my dog to stay. He has stayed at petsmart before but we wanted something different. Searching through Unilocal I came upon B&B. I called Janet and she returned my phone call very quickly. She explained everything about boarding to me and then told me to think about it and get back to her. She wasn’t pushy at all! Which is not usually the process when calling a boarding place.
We decided to leave our dog with Janet while we went away and it was a great choice! We got updates with pictures and videos every day so that we would see how the pup was doing and that made us very happy and calmed our nerves about leaving him behind. We can tell he had an amazing time playing with the other dogs and spending his time with Janet. He even came home smelly clean, with his bed washed and some home made treats!
I don’t want to tell my wife but I think our dog may love Janet more than he loves us now ;)
We would definitely recommend B&B and the next time we go away we know where our dog will be staying!

If you are looking for amazing pet care in the neighborhood you will be hard pressed to find better than Janet at Bed and Biscuits. She’s kind, attentive, caring and will go above and beyond for your little one.
Last week I went away for the week for some much needed R&R. I could not have done so without Janet. My 16 year old cat Lucy has feline kidney disease and requires daily subcutaneous fluids.
Janet was an expert at handling my special needs kitty. She had no trouble getting Lucy relaxed for her treatment and got no fuss from Lucy when putting in the line. Lucy even put on a little weight while I was gone which anyone with a CRF cat knows is very hard to do.

I’m a new fan of Bed & Biscuits! I contacted Janet on a recommendation from a relative when I needed a cat sitter to watch over my little kitty while I was on vacation for the week. You can tell that Janet loves the animals that she works with, both dogs and cats — and that helped a LOT. She also walks and trains the cutest pack of dogs in Queens, which is evident on the B&B Facebook page and website.
While I was away, Janet followed all the directions that I gave her for feeding, litter box, etc. She also texted me photos and videos of my cat playing and it made me super happy and relieved to know that she was doing well. She really does understand the bond between a pet owner and their furry friend!
I don’t go away too often, but if I do I will definitely be in touch with Bed & Biscuits again!

Bed & Biscuits is a sure bet if you are looking for dog walking or pet sitting (boarding) services in Queens. Janet, who runs B&B is, simply put, amazing. She walks my dog twice a week on «pack walks» which have helped tremendously with some issues he displayed after I adopted him. Her walks don’t just give your dog an excursion and time to «do their business», but are actually more like training sessions! In my case, she corrects my dog when needed and he is always on such good behavior after an outing with her. Janet is at all times completely aware of her surroundings and what any of her «gang» is doing at all times. Be it on long walks through the neighborhood or while the dogs are playing in the dog park, she keeps her eyes on them and monitors their actions — something very important when you entrust your pet to someone else. I have not used B&B for overnights yet — I simply had no need, but if it ever comes I won’t hesitate to use her. I have heard from numerous owners that their dogs have the BEST time when staying over at B&B’s (and they come home with home made treats, where else do you get that???).
In addition to the services described above, I have found that Janet is a true advocate for the underdog (and –cat)! She fosters dogs that otherwise might not get a chance at life, and then places them in loving homes. Additionally, I know her to be passionate and involved in TNR (trap neuter release for feral cats) and am proud to say that she has educated me on a subject that I wasn’t really aware of before.
Do not hesitate, try Bed and Biscuits and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
