Wett Nightclub

It was ok we got free drink for about an hour… It’s super casual I’m pretty sure I saw a couple people in workout clothes… nice atmosphere. Music selection kinda sucked though

Oh Club Wett, I wanted to love you so bad, but you just weren’t what I expected.
First off, I’ll set up the atmosphere. The outside is definitely nice. My fiancé and I arrived pretty early on a Wednesday and nobody was in line. The guy at the door (who took himself a wee bit too serious) was stoked to make sure my beanie (Nike Snowboarding. simple. no logo) taken off. Being guests of Mt. Olympus, we didn’t have a cover so that was good. Once getting inside, it was super loud, but the atmosphere was really sketchy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice décor, it’s the locals that sketch it up. It almost felt like an eight grade dance in here. Guys acting like fools and girls huddled together or absolutely hammered and lap dancing each other. We knew we were in for a long night and only vodka was going to make it better. We flipped on an NCAA Tournament game on my phone and set up by the bar.
Again, being guests of Mt. Olympus, we got free well drinks from 9 – 11, which was awesome. We probably had 5 vodka/Sprite’s each. free! Our bartender, who was incredibly nice, was super overpouring, which is bad or good, depending on how you see it. It was a nightmare to hear anyone talking because the music was a little too blasted. After getting enough liquor in us to get dancy, we danced for about an hour and had another cocktail each ($ 17 total. wow). We got bored with it and decided the crowd was getting sketchy, so we headed out.
I would not recommend wearing hats, despite me seeing several people in the club wearing Under Armour/​Nike hoodies and gym shorts. It has a Vegas feel, but the Dells won’t provide a crowd to live up to that hype. The drinks are a tad pricey, so I would suggest getting tipsy beforehand or you’re gonna wish you were while you try to figure out the atmosphere. It’s decent for a little while, but it would probably be best with a group.

Not a fan. EDMish music but terrible sound system, ears ringing hard at the end of the night. Also 90% guys and only 25% of people dancing on a Saturday night. Not busy at all. I was excited but the crowd just seemed bored. Won’t go again… Stick to Marley’s at the reef.

I went here over the ⁷⁄₄ weekend.
I expected not so much of this place, but wow when I saw this place with my two eyes, I should have expected more worse. But to make this brief, I have two things to point out:
1. They do not enforce dress code.
I saw BUNCH OF guys and girls in sweatshirts, jeans, tennis shoes, on and on. WHAT?!? SERIOUSLY?!?
2. Poor music choice.
I think the DJ was playing his personal favorite playlist. No consistency in music choices whatsoever.
Too bad this is the only place where «adults» can have fun after the sun goes down in the Dells area.

Went here with my 3 best buds. Well stayed at Mt. Olympus hotel it was literally right across the street. So we walked there good so we didn’t need a cab or DD.
They had free rail drinks from 9 – 11. It was really cool bc when I checked in at the hotel I got s text with specials. Club wett was one of them.
When we got there wasn’t too packed but got crowed quick. Lots of young kids, fun up beat music. They even had fire pits outside.
This place is awesome and friendly to tourists I would definitely go there again.

Avoid!
I got drugged here! My husband confronted the management and wanted help with identifying who may have done this to me and they told him «your wife doesn’t know how to hold her alcohol». .. really. .. not even a «we will look into it» you know they have cameras all over this place.

This isn’t as bad as the reviews. It can’t compare to a big city club. If you stay at Mt. olympus you get free drinks from 9 until 11. That’s good enough for me to give it 3 stars. The employees were friendly. They sic was ok on Friday but only about 50 people were there. I went Saturday and it was pretty crowded but the music was absolutely horrible. A lot of techno music. If that’s your type of music, this is your place. The club looks really cool on the inside.

I first heard about a «vegas style» nightclub in wisconsin dells when I came to visit on a whim over the summer. those 3 words dont make sense together, as, having been to wisconsin dells more than once, i’m very aware of the kind of people that live in the area and the kind of people that go to the dells to vacation. On my initial trip I wasnt able to visit it even though the free shuttle and entry with open bar from 9−12am from our hotel at mount olympus was very tempting.
We decided to sojourn ourselves to an indoor water park after being fed up with the brutal chicago winter this year and booked a weekend at the wilderness with a bunch of friends, we joked about going to WETT and i recalled that they had the 3 hour open bar deal, so I called a week prior to find out if they still had the 3 hour open bar only to be told by the goon on the line that they «decide the specials day of.» I had another friend call to find out if this guy was just giving me the run around and he gave him the same bullshit line, so I waited until we actually got into the dells on a friday to call and got what I can only imagine was a single UGG wearing a blonde wig and spray tan on the phone, I asked her directly if they were offering the 3 hour open bar and she proceeds to tell me, in a very bitchy and terse tone «um we only do that if you stay at our resort» to which i reply «uh, excuse me? which resort is the wett resort» and she snaps back «mount olympus» OOHHH OKAY it wasnt clear to me that mount olympus owned club wett since you know, ITS NOT OBVIOUS but I digress.
We decided to poke in on a saturday night to see what kind of circus this was and the scene could be best described as LYNCHIAN. Actually, thats giving it too much credit, it looked like what would happen if you shuttled everyone from the PEOPLE OF WALMART blog to the club and gave them shots of rail vodka, the scene was admittedly hilarious and we stayed for a good 30 minutes but at the end of it i was still completely baffled, when your clientele is literally 80% white trash, why do your employees on the phone act like they’re running some 50 million dollar club in a city with an international airport? Seriously folks, there are models of KIAs that cost more than this club cost to build.

This place still isn’t that great. I love how they have a dress code listed on the website. That dress code was not enforced. If you want to dance in the Wisconsin Dells flip a coin and choose between here and Marley’s.

I’ve been here twice once on a Thursday night in the summer thinking it would be pretty busy, but it was dead and the drinks were over priced. The other time I went was on a Saturday night with a big group of friends. It was better than the first time. There were more people and decent music. The best part about Club Wett is the outdoor patio and fire pit. There is a lot of seating and a fun dance floor, but not enough service. It definitely has a night club feel, but tried too hard to be high class. For the tourist location it’s in it doesn’t set the right tone.

I have a confession to make…
My friends and I challenged each other to buy an ugly Wal-​Mart outfit for less than $ 20. We then proceeded to wear these outfits to Wett nightclub (after spending a day at Noah’s Ark and not showering afterwards). Imagine the most intentionally tacky outfits ever, and you’ll get an idea of what we looked like. Want to hear something funnier? Nobody even gave us a hard time when we tried to get in. Even more shocking, nobody thought we looked out of the ordinary. The guys in our group even scored some phone numbers that night. We even saw other people that were dressed similarly, only they really thought they looked good.
If you’re in the Dells, have a sense of humor and are looking for a good time, you can find it here. Please don’t take yourself too seriously. You’re in the Dells, not Vegas. Sorry to all the Wett clubbers who actually tried to look good and impress people. I can assure you we had a much better time here than they did.

Wett (note the two T’s…yeah, it’s that kind of place) is not the worst club you could go to! In fact, it can be really fun. But you have to get drunk first.
It must’ve changed since the other reviews, because there is no longer a mermaid fountain or a bathtub. There is still a DJ platform in the middle, though, and a balcony/​platform in a corner with a shower. I went here for a bachelorette party, and this place is very well suited to that sort of thing. There was plenty of room to dance, even when the club got busier, and the music was good dancing music, pretty much exclusively techno and house. Drinks were on the expensive side (I’m used to Madison bars and their wonderfully cheap specials), but well-​made, and the bartenders were friendly. You may even get up in the DJ stand or the shower platform to dance, if you’re female and you ask a bouncer nicely. Besides a few creepy older men watching girls from the sidelines here and there, my sticking point with Wett happened the second it we were there, a busy Saturday: they had advertised heavily for DJ Darude (of «Sandstorm» fame), so we went to check him out. By the time we left at midnight, he still wasn’t there, and no one had made any announcement of what was going on. I get that they probably didn’t want to lose patrons, but it was really annoying to stay there for two hours, only to find the main act was probably a no-​show.
The first night we went, though, I had a great time at Wett. No, it’s not going to be on par with clubs in bigger cities, but if you’re looking for a place to drink, have fun, and be silly, this is as good a place as any.

Alright club for the dells, $ 10 to get in, the music is a little old, for old I mean if we are 2013, they play ²⁰¹¹⁄₂₀₁₂. They have some girls dancing at the corners. The bar is the same as any other clubs, there is a little place outside where you can sit and have a chat or smoke. They tried but can’t expect more for such a small town!

Very mediocre bar. We decided to go at about 1 AM for the heck of it and they still insisted on charging a cover until we argued with them and they backed right off. They then came back with an arbitrary amount of $ 15 (there were 7 of us) which we paid just to get them to go away. The facility itself is pretty nice but they play the music loud enough to distort their speakers which is ridiculous. They also refuse to serve you water unless you pay for it, so after dancing for an hour and a half you have to pay $ 3.50 for a little bottled water. The clubs in Vegas will give you a glass of water no problem, but this was an absolute joke. The club was probably ⁸⁰⁄₂₀ guys: girls so if you’re looking to meet a cute girl you’re out of luck and as a girl you’re going to get swarmed. Come with a group and stay with the group if you want to make it out alive.

This club… Definitely tries!
I have basically always been a city girl, currently living in Chicago. So in comparison to my club experience, We definitely lacked luster.
I had a camping trip with some friends, the females decided to have a girls night out and this was the only club in the area so why not! The outside was nice, but the inside suffered in comparison.
What the club has going for it was the entrance was amazing, in my opinion. You walk in and there is a raised stand nearly to the cieling where a few go-​go dancers are that use this gorgeous mermaid fountain that use their hands to spit the water in your direction.
I also thought this club had some of the better looking go-​go dancers than I’ve seen in the U.S. They had a true feminine shape, a lot of the go-​go dancers I experience in the bigger American cities are overtoned and either obviously overstuff or are plastic surgery nightmares so it was nice to see some beautiful, natural girls here.
Everything else was just utterly disappointing unfortunately…
The music was ocmpletely A.D.D. and the DJ stand is just so cheesey, it can rise higher for the «dramatic» effect.
The atmosphere was also more like an awkward 8^th grade dance than a club of adults. Literally, boys were standing on one side and girls on the other. No one was dancing, not a single person (Well until we came in, we awkwardly dance everywhere haha). No one ever talked to each other. It was just really strange…
Also while I say the go-​go dancers were good-​looking, they were such broken dancers. On one stand, there was a bathtub and mirror with a sink. Go-​go dancers would blow-​dry their hair (Yeah, because that is so entertaining –_​-​) and at some point they’d all just lay in the bathtub with their legs hanging over the edge of the tub (Not moving, like a corpse).
If you are bored and want to waste some extra cash, there isn’t much else around the area so might as well! The drinks weren’t bad, the liquor wasn’t watered down so there is at least that much! You can basically be sure no creeper will approach you here because no one other than your friends you came with will haha.

Beautiful inside, but the people who go there are nothing special.
I was visiting my cousins in Wisconsin and we decided to come here for a few drinks. We sat in the outside area but got served in plastic containers… there was a fire going even though it was 100 degrees outside… and no body would offer you to open a tab instead of paying per drink…
Save yourself the trouble and the extra money.

From someone who has been across the country, enjoying EDM and venues that show electronic music and bar/​dancing scene I was honestly pleasantly surprised how well Wett was setup. It is a smaller venue but has nice features and furnishings. The speaker and light setup was solid for the venue size/​operations.
Overall compared to clubs in Chicago, Las Vegas and Minneapolis Wett is much smaller and less major name players spinning but overall still makes for a fun night if your into dance or want something different from a standard bar scene.
THIS IS NOT A TOP 40 or Country playing venue for the most part, do not expect to slow dance to Tom Petty and pay $ 2 for a tap beer.
A side note: quite a few locals/​foreign seasonal workers hang out here and can be fun to chat up, certainly the fair share of drunk creeps trolling but overall nothing to different from the usual nights out.
