Antonella’s Pizzeria

I grew up in NY and moved to Florida about a year and a half ago and finding good pizza in Central Florida is like trying to find snow here haha it’s nearly impossible… until now! This place is FANTABULOUS. The bianca (white) pizza is to die for. I usually don’t like pizza without marinara sauce but the fresh ricotta on top was just too amazing not to love. Their spinach and tomato pizza is really good too. My office even ordered catering so I got to try the baked ziti with chicken (it’s not on the menu but ask for it!) most tender chicken i’ve ever had and it’s not your average ziti, it has the best tasting ricotta I don’t know if they make it fresh or have a good supplier but it gave the ziti a creamy flavor. This place knows what it’s doing and is doing well. It’s in a location that has had multiple turnovers so I hope this one sticks around. This New Yorker gives it the seal of approval!

This place is small and REALLY Italian family… Very special. I’m Polish, but I know REAL Italian when I taste it!
Frank, the owner came table side to explain how he «plays the oven» like a master instrument to achieve a crisp crust in a New York style thin «pie». No «slice sag». Amazing!
I was impressed with everything. Caprese. Sausage Hero. And Frank’s custom Pie!

We walked to this restaurant following the Farmer’s Market. Read reviews on Unilocal and headed in that direction. We were NOT disappointed! The food was fabulous and the owners/​staff were the epitome of friendly, family business owners. Oh my goodness – so refreshing to find places like this and know they still exist! The food – oh my – we started with the Caprese and the garlic knots! Both were terrific. My daughter had the cheese pizza; I had Bianca pizza, and my husband had the sausage hero sandwich! All were excellent. Thin crust pizza, fresh cheeses, and crispy bottom – yum! The sausage hero was great as well – red peppers, onions, and the best sausage, melted cheese in between crusty French bread! A huge hit – glad there was a little leftover so I can finish it off after writing this review. K-​Marie (our waitress) and Frank and Antonella (owners) couldn’t have been nicer! The best local restaurant. We will be back – and will order off the takeout menu ASAP. Have already told our local relatives to check this place out!!! They even showed our daughter how they get the pizza crusty – see photo!!!

We had dinner and loved it! Pizza was spectacular! Thin crust, great favor, nice and crispy. The rest of the menu looked good too. Small location, definitely will go back and for sure put this on our pizza take out list. Great friendly service. Quick too.

Could not wait to try this new place as we are big fans of il pascatore ! Called because I had heard there were only a few tables inside and was told that they would deliver to our area ! The garlic knots were out of this world! Tons and tons of garlic and drenched in butter with a fair price ! We also ordered a small cheese pizza ! It was perfect crisp crust with tangy tomato sauce ! I thinks it’s gonna give feel dio my other favorite pizza a run for its money! we also ordered the baked ziti ! It was a huge portion and we had a lot left over for the week! For delivery our bill was around 27 dollars with another meal left over ! Can’t wait to order again ! The ziti also came with salad and their house dressing ! The online menu said they cater which I will definitely consider in the future !

Located in the shopping center just west of Park Avenue at Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park. Antonella, her husband and brother (and parents) have been feeding Orlando delicious Italian cuisine their whole lives. This new restaurant has several tables to dine in or you can take out, have lunch or dinner delivered or cater an event.
The lunch and dinner menu offers pizza by the slice or pie, classic Italian pasta and traditional entrees, sandwiches and more. Come hungry, the portions are generous and the prices are pocket friendly. All the items are made from scratch, daily.
I enjoyed my perennial favorite, eggplant rollatini, a large portion of stuffed eggplant with ricotta served over a bed of spaghetti with homemade marinara sauce. Delicious! Also ordered garlic knots and pizza, everything was delicious. If you can, save room for dessert as you will enjoy one of the best cannolis in Orlando. Come hungry and expect to feel like family by the end of your meal.

The family carries on the tradition of amazing food and hospitality. Everyone who enjoys Italian Cuisine should make this there next stop. Best wishes to Antoniella, Leonardo and Frank

Wow! Great Pizzeria! Authentic, delicious food. Cozy atmosphere and a fantastic staff. I highly recommend this to everyone! You can’t go wrong.

Great Italian restaurant. My girlfriend and I started with side Greek Salads. I had the pizza and my girlfriend had the pasta with spicy marina. Everything was great! Highly recommended

We had a great visit to Antonella’s Pizzeria. It is great to see Antonella, her husband Frank and brother Lenny carrying on the high standards set by their father Stefano. My wife and I went for lunch and shared the Mambo Combo (stuffed shell, meatball, and chicken parm) and a meat lover’s calzone. Both were amazing. The crust in the calzone was the best I’ve had in the Orlando area, and the calzone was large and delicious. The combo was also outstanding, including one of the best servings of chicken parm I’ve had. We’ve been going to Stefano’s restaurants for the last 15 years, and Antonella’s pizzeria continues the tradition of sincere appreciation for all customers. Well worth a try; highly recommended.

Great place and honestly probably wouldn’t have stopped in if not for the great reviews. It’s modern and clean inside, although small. The service was exceptionally friendly but casual– like a family. We tried some wings (excellent– meaty, crispy, saucy…), broccoli, pasta, calzone, and stromboli (we were hungry?), and everything was excellent.
My favorite part was the ricotta inside my calzone… It was the real deal– so creamy and sweet… I ate way more than I should have.

I’m in love with Antonella’s. I am allergic to gluten and I really struggle to find good quality, gourmet pizza in Orlando (especially since Wolfie’s in College Park closed). The gluten free pizza from Antonella’s doesn’t taste gluten free or have any texture that would reveal its lack of gluten. It’s perfect.
Antonella’s also does this amazing thing where you can order a pizza with one half one type of pizza and the other half a different type… seems normal to you? Not when they even agree to make one half margarita with red sauce and one half Bianca with white sauce. They really aim to please. I’ll be loyal to them from here on out.

This place is awesome! The pizza is perfect! I can never eat pizza anywhere else again! I had the vegetarian pizza which was de LiSH ous! I also had a salad which I noticed had balsamic vinegar that was far superior to what other restaurants offer! Antonella and her husband are warm, welcoming people who take pride in their recipes and service! This is a place that you’ll want to come back to again and again!

An absolute great experience. Definitely would go back. Great location and really cozy family feel. The staff made us feel apart of the family and the food was absolutely delicious. We had complimentary wine and it truly made the experience great. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is wonderful! Everything is delicious and everyone makes you feel like family. You can’t go wrong with any of the pizza’s-they are all delicious. The antipasto appetizer is top notch and the garlic knots, well let’s just say they are addictive. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely the best Italian and pizza in Orlando! The eggplant rollatini was Delish! The sauce for the pasta is so good. We also had pizza –with bunch of toppings-​it was huge hit! The soup was fresh and hot. The kids loved every bite! We will definitely return. I can see this becoming a weekly pizza/​Italian dinner for our family.

I have been dying to try the food here and mama and I FINALLY had time to check out the food. We first met Antonella and her brother Lenny a while back in Winter Springs at Stefano’s along with her parents. I later met her husband at Goodfellas near UCF and tonight we got to meet his wife. Now Antonella, Frank and Lenny are under one small roof in Winter Park. My ONLY regret is that Antonella’s Pizzeria is not in MY delivery area.
The seating here is VERY limited. You might get 15 or so seated inside and there are a couple of tables in front. When you walk in the door you are treated like one of the family. That is one of the reasons I was looking forward to coming here and the other is to check out the food they chose to offer here.
I was allowed to check out the kitchen and it is small but efficiently laid out. The pizza area is front and center and Frank is right there making everything right out in the open. You go back a little further and find the Lenny hard at work. I just had to take a picture from the Chef’s view. On my way up front, Frank was putting a pizza in the oven and I look to the left side of the oven to see a pan of Lenny’s sausage.
I finally rejoined my wife at the table and I just let Antonella send out what she thought we’d like from the menu. She selected a Greek salad, lentil soup, garlic knots, Fra Divola spaghetti, Shrimp Limone and finally a pizza of Frank’s choice.
Yes… I am going to bust their chops for not having unsweetened iced tea BUT they did have bottled water (regular and sparkling) so I will let them slide.
First up, the Greek Salad and it was both generous AND tasty with plenty of Feta cheese on it. The ingredients were fresh and the dressing was light. Well done!
The lentil soup was next and it took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen. The flavor was incredible and the texture of the lentils was just like grandma used to make.
The garlic knots were served with some tomato and Alfredo sauce. NO SAUCE WAS REQUIRED! If you love garlic… These are the knots to try because there was enough garlic to chase away a vampire. And I did not mean garlic powder but REAL garlic! The tomato sauce was good and so was the Alfredo sauce but again… WAS NOT NEEDED!
The Fra Divola spaghetti was superb. Just enough kick to say HELLO but not enough to overpower the sauce. The spaghetti was al dente and NOT mush.
The Shrimp Limone was absolutely incredible. The shrimp just POPPED and yes they were de-​veined. The artichoke and sun dried tomato came alive in the lemon and wine. The best part is the wine did not make me sick so Lenny had to have cooked out most of the alcohol. WELL DONE!
The last thing brought to us was the pizza. Frank was kind enough to let us taste one of his creations that is not on the menu… YET! It was a thin crust pizza with chicken, Pancetta, pesto, tomato and cheese. The crust was spot on! Thin, crispy and NOT salty. The combination of flavors chosen was a symphony in my mouth. That one is a keeper and SHOULD be on the menu!
I was expecting some good food along with a few hitches since they are new but if not offering unsweetened iced tea is the harshest thing I can say… They knocked it out of the park! If you are expecting fine dining… That is not the genre here BUT… If you want some great food at a reasonable price made with love and pride… Stop by to taste what they are serving. If you live in Winter Park… LUCKY YOU because you can have it delivered.
I was so full that the Tiramisu came home with me and I took a bite before writing up this review. Marvelous and even as a to go order it was packed up with love.
I can only tell you what the experience was like «Dining in» since I live outside the delivery area so if you live withing their delivery area, I would love to know if the food delivered has lost some of its magic during transport. A fresh thin crust pizza does not always have that crispiness when being delivered so that is my curiosity of the day. Maybe I will have a pie delivered while visiting a friend in the area just to find out… WINK I do however think that they have a winning combination of food and service and expect them to do well in Winter Park!
I will however ask Antonella and Frank to consider opening up a second location in the Lake Pickett/​Avalon Park vicinity once this location is situated so I am in the delivery area… lol

I walk in for a slice of pizza and became part of a family. The best way to describe this family is fun, funny and food lovers. They really have making pizza down to a science. The aroma of warm melting mozzarella and garlic fills the air with laughter. Family is food and we all love food.

Antonella’s Pizzeria is just what Winter Park needed. Family owned and a family that knows how to run a restaurant and food that is to die for! It is small, but you immediately feel as you have been transported back to the streets of NYC. The owner Frank, is a veteran and expert pizza maker, his wife Antoniella is absolutely wonderful (you immediately feel as though you were welcomed for Sunday Dinner), and lastly is her brother Lenny, who in his own right is a very talented and fantastic chef.
The pizza is absolutely amazing and I have heard that it is all about the crust… Well you can fold that crust perfectly and the aroma as you get ready for that fist bite… has your taste buds dancing and your mouth watering!!! Suddenly you hear the talk of Italian in the kitchen and you can’t help but smile!
The garlic knots… Oh the Garlic Knots… I am not even sure how to explain the deliciousness of these. If you are a Garlic Freak (like myself), you will absolutely be in heaven. I actually crave these things. Yummo!!!
My husband had the Shrimp Limone over pasta and this beautifully plated dish looked amazing. You would not expect this sort of beauty in a pizzeria, but dont let the word «pizzeria» fool you. I encourage every single person who is looking for good true NY style pizza to go, enjoy and fill that belly until you want to burst! You will truly not be disappointed and you will crave their food the next day and will need to hold back from visiting, so soon!
Primary business is delivery, but they do have limited seating. I plan on becoming a definite regular! I would be doing myself an injustice. Haha!
