Hari has taken care of my cars for 20 years. I would not let let any other local mechanic under my hood. He has kept my 2001 Honda running beautifully for 15 years. He is honest about what you need and what you don’t need. And rare among mechanics, a delight to deal with.

Called last week and got a quote, then also paid a visit on my way home.
They are very friendly, very clean, met Hari the owner, I made an appointment but had to cancel today as I am too busy to go in. They were fine with that and did not seem upset, I will reschedule.

The best and most trustworthy repair shop ever! I have been coming to Drive Rite for 5 years, my father for 10+ years, and we have always had the best experiences here. The owner, Hari, is wonderful, and great at explaining complex car procedures to a novice like me. He has a fabulous staff that know you by name and are always patient, accommodating and extremely helpful. I really cannot say enough nice things about Drive Rite. (Thank you Patty and Brandon!) My second review on this business. The two ladies in front are sweet but not very reliable. I took my vehicle in on a Monday to get a diagnostic after a check engine light came on. It took 6 ½ hours to do a check engine diagnostic. WTH?!? Then Patty claimed she would call me the next day with a quote. Guess what didn’t happen? You guessed it, no follow up. Third business day and still nothing to show for it. On top of all this, I was quoted $ 95 for the diag. When I got there I was charged $ 110 and was told the rates went up on Friday which was 4^th of July. After I was quoted $ 95 on Wednesday the 2^nd. This place is not getting anymore of my business or money.

Hari has exceptional customer service and exceptional cleanliness. Workmanship was quality and fast. Not only did Hari explain everything in detail but he did not add any other issue besides the one at hand. Very honest and price-​wise a value. If we hadn’t moved from the area this would be our place! Thanks from the Toyota 4runner.

We have been going to Drive Rite for several years and have always experience professional treatment. Many shops that you deal with you feel like you are dealing with slimy people let along crappy facilities.
First impression when you walk into their facilities that this place is 1^st rate from how they deal with you to how they do thorough repairs. They always give us all the information and let us make decisions based on cost effectiveness vs results.
Each time I visit, I wish that I was in the auto repair business like Hari has, simply because it is run like a clean hospital with professional staff. I was use to visiting greasy floor repair shops that had so so results and was blown over the first time we used Hari. Over the years I have been his customer they have always been fair and reasonable in all the repairs and I enjoy going there to have my car serviced. I recently took our new Honda Pilot for its normal repairs and will never use the dealerships again because of there nickle and dimeing for each thing they do. Hari’s shop does excellent work and will be my Honda’s new shop.

They are good mechanically but very poor communicators. I have taken several of my cars here and have also recommended a few people to Drive Rite. Twice I have asked for quotes for separate repairs and both times it took more than 6 hours to complete the quote. Five stars for the work they perform and one star for communication.

We own an auto repair shop, but do not do smogs. The staff and owners at Drive Rite are outstanding! They are the ONLY location I refer ALL my customers to for any smog and complicated check engine issues! My family has personally used their services twice and have been extremely satisfied. I refer to them because I have complete confidence in there automotive knowledge and honesty!
Only wish the Key drop box was with envelopes, just my silly input.

Best place to get your vehicle slogged. Reasonable compared to some of the other very high priced places in Windsor.

No gimmicks here, just plain nolstogic great service. They even have a kids play area. Comfortable seating area, just need to add some beverages to get the 5^th star.

Let me start by saying that I was a mechanic for several years so I know the difference between car repair places. Hari, the owner of Drive Rite really knows his cars and service. I continue to receive unparalled service and support from Hari and his crew there in Windsor. I have three vehicles and take all three to him. Their work is fast, accurate and reasonably priced. The waiting room is clean and their work on all my cars has been great. I cannot say enough good things about this repair facility.

I’ve heard good things about this place but did not have a favorable experience myself. The owner, Hari was very friendly and seemed caring & genuine. My car was towed into Drive Rite with a bad alternator. The estimate was over $ 800, which included changing some belts & battery terminal. Hari said the remanufactured alternator cost was over $ 400. I was quoted $ 200 for a new alternator at Napa auto parts. I purchased the part for $ 79 myself and had a friend put it in. My friend is not a mechanic but was able to install the alternator and the belt in 30 min. Somehow the math doesn’t add up with the quote presented to me from Drive Rite Automotive. Hari charged my battery all day and told me the car should go for two days as is. He also very kindly replaced the bad battery terminal. I was charged $ 45 for this service. I got about 5 miles down the road and broke down again, losing all power, and needing to be towed yet again. It seemed like a great shop but I will never return to be ripped off again.

We have been taking our vehicles to Drive Rite for more than 10 years and have always been very happy with the personalized, professional service there. Hari and his team provide great customer service and we are impressed with the quality of the work. So glad we found Drive Rite!

Hari and his crew have been taking care of our family cars for about 12 years. We won’t take our cars anywhere else. Driverite is effcient and honest. I would highly recommend Driverite to everyone.

Great service! Had to get a smog check on my car, called and got an appointment quick and the time they quoted me for my car to be done was right on.

I took my van in for an oil change last Dec. 2011 and forgot to write a review.
I chose the $ 41 oil change with all point check. I was there for 1−½hrs. for this choice, even though it is a 30 minute job at other facilities. No water or coffee in the clean waiting area, so bring your own. You can’t view the work being done on your vehicle, so can only hope that everything was done as promised. I will try another place next time and see if it’s any faster and if I can view the work effort.

This is the most reputable car service I’ve ever used. We trust all of our cars to Drive Rite. They’re honest and professional. Highly recommend.

Last year, I gave D. R 5 stars. I must take away one star, however, due to a lack of follow up when I requested a quote for service of my vehicle. I called and spoke with Hari, the owner, and he said he would call me back with a quote. He never called me back with the quote.
