I had some major stains that other cleaners would get out but then they would mysteriously come back! Mike from Pro Steam promised he would get them out and that they would stay out! And he kept that promise. I have been using him ever since. I would recommend Pro Steam to all.

Mike has been cleaning our carpets for years. I tried the «in and out» carpet cleaners, which are cheaper, but the work shows the difference. He always spends a lot of time here and is meticulous and thorough. The carpets are dried before he leaves and he uses the best equipment. The other «cheaper» cleaners leave a sloshy mess are in and out in 45 minutes and the stains are back in weeks before the carpet was not deep cleaned. I would highly recommend PRO STEAM if you want your carpets cleaned right!

I have had my carpets cleaned many times by Pro Steam. Mike, the owner and operator does an outstanding job. We have multiple pets, kids, and traffic through the house and our carpets get pretty dirty. Pro Steam uses top notch equipment and the carpets look new when Mike is done. Additionally, he tries to leave the carpets as dry as possible after the cleaning. I have used other carpet cleaning services in the distant past but no one else did as thorough a clean as Pro Steam does. I highly recommend them!

Just had our carpets cleaned by Mike at ProSteam. This company’s work is not just steam as the name refers to. We were very pleased with the end result. Our very old and stained (cat, dog & kids) carpets really turned out amazing. He did a pre-​vacuum, then pre-​stain spray, then a circular scrubber then steamed it and finished off with a rake and put out 6 fans to dry quickly.
Mike was professional, prompt, courteous and a hard worker. He was meticulous with his work and cleaned up perfectly.
In response to his prices, no, he isn’t the cheapest steam cleaner available, but he does much more than just steam clean. We are very pleased with the experience we had with him today and will use him again next time.

This is the second year I have had Mike come in to clean my carpets, stairs and kitchen floor tile. Just like last time, he did a first-​rate job. My carpets, which had gotten pretty nasty, are now spotless and smell great. Beyond the actual cleaning, he and his assistant were totally professional and very friendly. These are people that you will feel comfortable having in your home.
Scheduling was easy and its clear that he cares about his customer’s time. Not only is he punctual, but he is finished when (or before) he says that he will be. And, it goes without saying that he honors his estimates. The downside is that this sets a standard that most other service providers won’t live up to!

I’ve lived in Sonoma County for 20 years, and I’ve hired many carpet cleaning companies. They have always done an adequate job, some better than others but I’ve never had a company clean better than Pro Steam. Mike is the owner and operator and he does all the jobs himself (with an assistant). He uses a multi-​step process by first vacuuming, treating spots, cleaning, raking and then vacuuming again. It may not be exactly in that order, but my point is that the cleaning is very thorough. He also cleaned my couches which are in desperate need of re-​upholstery. Since he cleaned them, I will definitely put that off because they look and smell fabulous. They are 10 years old and they look almost new. It’s amazing. Mike has made a faithful customer out of me. Mike did an amazing job. My carpet Is 23 years old. Many of the stains were just as old. A week ago I took care of my girlfriends 2 dogs. They trashed it. Mike erased all stains new and old. This is the only guy you should call.

I just moved to Santa Rosa and was looking for a company to clean both the carpet and floors in the entire house.
Pro Steam and Mike were extremely professional and always was quick and thoughtful to responding to phone calls and questions.
Mike did an amazing job and his attention to detail was a pleasant surprise and unexpected as most companies I’ve dealt with in the past just did a standard job.
Mike was so conscientious that he cleaned up the water stains inside a closet below the hot water heater!
I would highly recommend him and his company to all my friends and definitely will hire him again.

We had Mike clean our carpets and some upholstered furniture. It turned out so well I immediately put a reminder on the calendar to call him for our pre-​holiday cleaning next year.
The price was competitive, but what really mattered was that Mike really takes pride in doing the job well. He runs his own business and it’s obvious that he’s committed to running it with integrity and high standards. I have already enthusiastically recommended him to several friends.

After a night of our 132 lb. Bull mastiff who had a very upset stomach and used the carpet as his bathroom… We thought we would need to pull up the carpet. Pro-​Steam SAVED us! I called Friday morning and Mike came out by 4:00pm the same day. The carpet looks great! Mike is super professional, personable, effective and efficient. We will be using Pro-​Steam in the future. Mike came over on short notice to steam clean our tile floors and reseal the grout, so our house could look its best for prospective tenants. He was right on time and very professional.
When he was finished, the floors looked great, much better than I expected! And I don’t agree with the reviewer who said his prices are high – I got a couple other quotes and Mike’s rate was competitive.

«Magic» is not too strong a term for what Mike managed to do with our carpets. Our hallway carpet, in particular, had suffered horribly from the fact that that’s where our dear, beloved kitty likes to dismember gophers and rats. Good kitty for catching the vermin and all, but it sure would be nice if you’d eat them outside. But no, the hallway carpet is his special place, and after a few years of that, it looked it. It now looks absolutely brand new. Mike may possibly not be the cheapest; I wouldn’t know, because I’ve never used anyone else. But his results are absolutely tops; couldn’t be any better. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

This review is based on price alone, I did not use them based on their prices. 3 places quoted me between $ 175-​$ 225 and Pro Steam quoted me $ 400 and the lady on the phone seemed annoyed that I was calling and asking for a price. Yikes, the market is to competitive for those prices!
