I was in here the other day — still a great little toy store — still EXPENSIVE.
The markup is pretty high. I found several things I wanted, but decided to get them somewhere else for a few dollars less. Sorry!
Also — I noticed they have several brands of toys that you won’t find in Toys R Us, etc. I saw several display cases full of a brand of toy imported from say, England. If you are looking for that type of thing, you’ll find it here.

This is a small town toy store and while they might not have as much as say toys are us, the quality of their products and service makes up for what they might not have. On the other hand, they have some great games, and toys to choose from and the customer service is awesome. Its a small town feel and is a great place to take the kids to and then go to Karol’s ice cream across the street by the Mill Pond after and then Book Ends for a children’s book. Catch a Falling star has some unique toys and is worth a look for any toy enthusiast or if you just want to enjoy Winchester Center on a nice weekend afternoon! Come on in and «Catch» a falling star today! This toy shop is a hidden jewel in the heart of Winchester Center.
