Fireside Resort

What a fabulous environment for relaxing and enjoying nature. The cabin was the perfect size for someone traveling alone like myself, but would absolutely work for a family of 4. The put thought into every nook and cranny and the design was impeccable.
Kitchen: Had a single burner electric stove, sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, silverware, pots and pans, plates, glasses, bowls, foil, you name it!
Bathroom: Had plenty towels (and they were the large bath sheet kind too), hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Living room: Had a nice leather sofa, large tv, and fireplace.
Bedroom: Had 6 pillows, large tv, fan, and the most comfortable bed.
Loft: Had 2 twin beds and fan. (Perfect for kids)

We stayed at Fireside Resort in August for 3 nights in one of the cabins which are very spacious and clean.
BUT this is why I’m giving it 2 stars:
— No AC
— No curtains in the bedroom
— Hot rooms
— No privacy because all the cabins face the main entrance road

My husband and I stayed in a wedge cabin for 5 nights and are SO happy we chose Fireside. It is only about 10 minutes up the road to Teton National Park, through which you can also access Yellowstone. It is about 15 minutes from downtown Jackson Hole. On Moose-​Wilson Road, there are a few restaurants (within walking distance) and a nice little local market which sells green/​natural products. There is a nice paved trail across the main road on which we walked our dog in the evenings.
Fireside is dog-​friendly, which was a must for us. They even provide doggy bags in various places around the resort.
It is a quiet area. You can hear the traffic on the main road but that didn’t bother us at all, even in the slightest, since this isn’t an urban area and you don’t hear honking or excessive braking.
The cabin was amazing. It had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. Although some people have complained about the $ 35/​day charge for maid service, I actually think this is nice. We chose not to get the maid service and we didn’t need it. I didn’t have to worry about putting stuff away and we just lived like we normally do at home. The kitchen has a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, and pots and pans. We grilled out two nights on the mini propane grill on the deck. We also cooked breakfast every morning in the cabin, which was really convenient. The bathroom is also worth mentioning because of the shower. It is the nicest shower I’ve ever used because of the water pressure and the awesome extra jets on the wall. It took a few minutes to figure out how to turn it on but it was a really nice shower. Lastly, the bed is super comfortable and we slept great every night, as did our dog. Even the pillows are great (and we are pretty picky about pillows)! Some people mentioned the lack of air conditioning but this was not a problem for us at all. The cabins are shaded because of all the trees and it was pleasant and cool every day even when the temps were in the 80s. We just cracked the windows and there was a breeze at night. Also, the room is equipped with a small fan which provides some white noise as well as a breeze. We never felt hot or stuffy. Also there is wi-​fi– it was a bit spotty in the bedroom but overall worked well to fit our needs.
We are so happy we decided to stay here at Fireside and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. If we ever get the chance to return to Jackson Hole, we will definitely come back to Fireside.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a couple of nights while on vacation in Wyoming. The cabins are very spacious, clean, and well kept. The service is great too. It is also in a wonderful location. I highly recommend. My only complaint is that I wish there were more curtains on the windows. It was a bit hot at times because of this and the sun rises very early and sets late in Wyoming so it was hard to get a decent night sleep with light coming in through all of the windows. Other than that it was great!

These cabins are upscale, clean, efficient and cool! We were very impressed with the simple check-​in. We arrived 2 hours early but the clerk ran down to the cabin and determined that it was clean & ready so we were allowed to check in. The complimentary s’mores kit was super neat since each cabin has a small fire pit area.
The small kitchen area was great with the mini appliances and everything you need to cook and have a meal.
The bedding, linens were exceptional and top notch. The shower, with the multiple water functions was so beautiful & clean. These cabins are so comfy. I truly felt like i was staying in an upscale hotel but with more privacy. These cabins are for sale and when I find my lake lot back in Oklahoma, I am truly considering purchasing one-​yes, they are that nice!
They are also pet-​friendly, which is great for those of us that travel with their companions.

This place is cool. There are approx 20 cabins that are brilliantly designed, very nice, upscale and super efficient. My only complaint was some garbage found inside the pull-​out sofa bed upon opening, which was kind of gross and spoke to a general lack of detail, but otherwise we had a great stay.
Housekeeping service is optional for a daily charge, beds were superb (pull-​out bed too, VERY comfy) and the shower was one of the best anywhere I have stayed.
The fire pit next to each cabin was nice, and smores kit is a nice touch.
There are a couple of great dining options within a few minutes, brew pub in one direction and coffee shop in the other.
I would definitely come back and stay here again; highly recommend Fireside Resort.

Loved the accommodations and location in Wilson. Highly recommend! My wife and I will definitely come back. Not 5 stars because large campers drive down the main center road just outside the cabins at all hours stirring up dust. We had an adventure spotting our first moose 100ft from our cabin door EARLY in the AM. It was cool but shocking to see in the fog so close.

WOW! Fireside Jackson Hole is simply amazing! We stayed in one of their cabins. It was incredibly clean and well-​kept. I loved that it came with a complimentary s’mores kit (it’s the little things that count). Plus, they are pet-​friendly. The cabins are simply amazing; I want to live in one. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The hot water is hot (I’ve been to places where all I get is luke-​warm). The furniture is comfortable. Plus, there’s a little stove, refrigerator, pots & pans, and plenty of plates (it would have been nice to have some salt & pepper, though). Wi-​fi is included but it doesn’t work very well unless you’re in the front of the cabin… but even then, it’s a little spotty. But… I didn’t come here to be on the computer, so I can overlook it.
Overall, I would absolutely come back to Fireside. I loved it!
Fireside: if you’re reading this & really want to take your pet-​friendly status to a whole new level, think about including a home-​made dog cookie (maybe with the dog’s name!) with the s’mores kit and offering food and water bowls. We who travel with our pets love to see that they are thought of as part of our family. :)

Wonderful, modern resort close to Teton village. Loved the big, comfy bed, nice amenities, & staff. Scenic trail is next to the resort too!

I actually had a negative experience with some other guests, but the staff was excellent and helped to resolve my concerns.

I visited Fireside Resorts and Jackson Hole Campground April 2 – 8, and could not have been more pleased with the entire area. The cabin was absolutely spectacular with all of the amenities anyone could possibly hope for. The staff was pleasant at all times, and ready to make my stay a good one in any way. In addition to the cabins, the adjacent Jackson Hole Campground area is also shaping up in an excellent way. There is obvious work going on for improvements for easy and comfortable access to the camping area. The work in progress is substantial, and the completed areas are so inviting. This is someplace I would definitely visit for a special camping experience. I saw daily major improvements in the campground area, and would definitely recommend Jackson Hole Campgrounds for a pleasant camping experience.

Don’t know how this stacks in value against normal pricing, but we came by this place through a groupon. So glad we came.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place…
We arrived several hours earlier than the 3:00 check-​in time. Isabella at the front office was professional and nice, looked happy to be there and even though our cabin was not ready yet, gave us the option to either store our stuff at the office or take another cabin. We chose to take another and get in immediately. We had already hit the Whole Grocer and wanted to put the cold food away.
I will start off saying that I am pretty picky about where I stay. The cabin was spectacular – very clean, well-​organized, almost full kitchen (microwave, stove-​top, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, grill outside, no oven, though). It was also stocked with dishes, cutlery, almost anything you could need while staying there (we did need a vegetable peeler, which we bought for $ 1.50 at the whole grocer and donated it to our cabin when we left). We were also missing a cutting board and I did find out while checking out that I should have just asked, it was supposed to have one. They are really open to suggestions here too, so I imagine anything you need, they will try to accommodate. The bathroom was amazing, I had brought my own toiletries, but they had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc in case someone forgot. The shower was a fancy rain shower with a bunch of other nozzles which took me a few minutes to figure out, but I loved the handheld sprayer – great for the kids and hard to find in hotels. We took advantage of the community hot tub every night and were lucky enough to have it to ourselves every time. The property has a gorgeous view of the mountains (although, hard not to find in JH) and it is perfectly out of the way. 10 mins to downtown Jackson (which keeps it nice and quiet) and 10 mins from Teton Village.
This place was absolutely perfect for our family of four. It was very serene and private, no wall-​sharing to worry about. We slept in the huge king sized bed and the kids slept in the pullout (which incidentally is ridiculously comfortable for a pullout). The pillows had the perfect mix of cushion and firm that I actually took one apart to find out where it was from and just ordered one online! Plenty of space/​drawers to store our clothes. The cozy fire warmed the entire place and dried our snowpants and gloves quickly every night. Full confession that we did use a Groupon for the place, so we stayed there for a steal. The regular price looked a bit steep for us, but honestly, after staying there, I think it is on par. We were able to cook quite a bit at the cabin, which saved us money eating out. Also – who wants to eat out every night with 2 small kids?
We are already planning our trip back for next year (to stay longer!!) and will definitely stay here for years to come.
