Not good. Soups are awful and not even served hot. The corned beef is tough and cold. The Cole slaw is so full of dressing. We did not enjoy a thing. Will not return. There are so many other restaurants to choose from. We have been to many Toojays but this one is below par.

Service was slow, stuffed cabbage was bland.

This is a new TooJay’s location in the Brownwood area of The Villages in Wildwood. TooJay’s is a faux Jewish deli, decidedly NOT Kosher. That said, they make a decent reuben and their matzo ball soup is not half bad. The Villages TooJay’s locations are longtime family favorites. Our most frequently visited location was the spot at Lake Sumter Landing. There is another in Spanish Springs. The Brownwood location is closest to my family’s south county home so is likely to overtake all shortly. The servers at TooJay’s are consistently cheerful and friendly. The food is freshly prepared and portions are generous. The bakery and deli counters offer some nice take away options. My family has been known to grab a pound of chopped chicken liver to bring home to enjoy with crackers. More than one special occasion cake has come in a TooJay’s box.

TooJay’s is one of the greats! They have an extensive menu with everything made fresh. Salads(including egg, tuna, chicken, shrimp) sandwiches that are STUFFED with deliciousness and meals such as meatloaf,(my hubby’s fav) shepherds pie, pot roast etc. however, that’s not the BEST part — this deli has a bakery that is unmatched. Napoleons that are so light, Mounds(choc & coconut) Key lime, black & whites, rugulach… On & on. Great place to pop in, morning(yes! They even have breakfasts) afternoon and late night for a snack. Also, great wait staff eager to make your dining experience top notch(ask for Tiffany)
