Specialties
Future Scholars Learning Center focuses on creating an individualized learning path for each student. Our goal is to improve and enrich students’ critical thinking skills as well as foster an environment of engagement through communication and collaboration. Our tutors are credentialed teachers.
Each student receives a FREE initial assessment that indicates the student’s current reading, writing, or math level. Based on these results, goals will be set to prepare students for academic rigor. It is our goal to prepare students to be college and career ready.
History
Established in 2015.
Future Scholars Learning Center was founded in 2015 by two credentialed teachers with over 30 combined years of classroom experience. FSLC was created with the intention of servicing students of Whittier and neighboring communities. What separates FSLC from other tutoring programs is that each tutor is a credentialed teacher with a vast amount of knowledge in effective strategies that will promote academic success.
