Mike from Elite SL is absolutely the BEST! My husband and I were lucky enough to run into him at a bridal expo, and from that moment we were impressed. After my husband and I met with him, we realized we needed to hire him. So that’s what we did; we hired him to DJ our wedding on June 7, 2013.
Thanks to his hard work our wedding was a huge success! It wasn’t only his ability to play good music that made it successful; it was his professionalism, charisma, and knowledgeable expertise that truly made our wedding great! And as a bonus, he’s bilingual! My family loved the fact that he went around and interacted with everyone in English and Spanish!
To this day, our friends and family keep telling us that our wedding is the best wedding they have ever been to; and we couldn’t be happier! So if you are looking for a DJ who can truly entertain your guest on your big day, look no further! Trust me he is worth every penny!

Mike and Bill from Elite SL MC’d and DJ’d our wedding in Riverside, CA on Friday August 3, 2012. Without a doubt, they made our wedding an absolute success! We moved to Dallas, TX shortly after the wedding so their services on our wedding was an incredible way to say farewell! These guys are professionals. Mike was very professional and extremely detailed when it came to describing his ideas and thoughts for my wedding. I contacted his company 5 days before my wedding because my previous lighting guy said «he forgot about my wedding» and never marked his calendar I guess. I was so stressed out but the effort and time that Mike put into my wedding was amazing! He went above and beyond for me! The lighting was a hit at our reception and it really added that extra WOW factor into our already beautiful wedding. All I have to say is if you need lighting at an event than there shouldn’t be any second guessing needed because Elite will get the job done and the quality will definitely show!

THE BEST! Mike and Bill and team followed my daughter and her NEW hubby’s dreams to the letter at their 2-​3-​2012 Richard Nixon Library wedding. Elite covered all bases with ease and grace from set-​up thru tear-​down. Mike and Bill did the sound and bubbles for the outdoor wedding ceremony, the sound for the indoor cocktail hour and then the RECEPTION in the RNL’s East Room. And what can I say about the reception– the reception– the light towers, the moving gobo, the sound, the fuschia uplights, the music — all perfect. Their was a wide range of aged guests — the music was not TOO loud, and covered a range of songs, per the bride and groom’s requests. Mike was the perfect DJ, emcee, not cheesy but with great ideas to make it fun. Bride and groom wanted fun and the reviews are in that it was a fun, magical night. Thank you Mike and Bill for your professional meeting style, great ideas and guidance! p. s. the slide show was just perfect, too. Not too long (as the MOTB I could have seen more pics, but maybe not the guests.)

How come you guys don’t have more reviews? I am a wedding photographer and these guys are by far the best dj team I have ever worked with.
When I had the chance to work with them it just so happened that I had back to back weddings at the same location. The first day I worked at this location the couple had just your typical dj… All the guest left by 10 pm. On my second wedding at the same location these guys were so entertaining that the reception location closed before anyone wanted to leave. I’ve never ever seen guests have more fun at a reception EVER!!!

These guys are the BEST!!! They go out of their way to make sure your event is everything you imagined it would be. We used them for lighting and the results were BEAUTIFUL!!! They went above and beyond for my wedding… and they’re such great guys!!!

Mike Johnson and his team are the top of the line when it comes to DJ and MC services!
Mike was SO much more than just a DJ and MC for our wedding! Let me start from the beginning…
We met Mike about 8 months before our wedding. He had been referred to us by a family member. He sent us a huge package with referrals, song lists and directions to his house where his first meeting takes place so he can show us all of his equipment.
We were greeted at his door by himself and his partner, Bill, both freshly dressed in nice suits. We never saw them once in anything but a suit or tux!
They gave us a wonderful evening of sample entertainment and within 20 minutes, we knew we HAD to have Mike DJ our wedding.
Our biggest stip when interviewing DJs was that they couldn’t be cheesy! And Mike was FAR from cheesy!
We met with Mike about 3 times after that leading up to the wedding to go over final details of music and other entertainment aspects such as special lighting, as well as our «Love Story» and video montage (YES! He does it all)!
He even came to our wedding rehearsal so he could meet the key people involved in our wedding such as family and wedding party!
Another thing he did based on our interviews with him, is he basically planned out the itinerary for the reception — when the dances would be, when we ate, when we took pictures, when we cut the cake, etc. I didn’t have to worry ONCE about that and he kept on schedule the entire day!
He couldn’t have done a more perfect job at the wedding and reception! He played everything we asked and planned as well as any requests the guests had. My husband is Persian, so he even played Persian music for us which was unplanned! It was amazing!
The dance floor was never once empty the entire night!
And to top it off, he gave us copies of our video montage as well as a CD FULL of pictures that he himself had taken of the reception!
I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a wonderful DJ for all occasions!
