Quechee / Pine Valley KOA

Great place we would go back to again and again. The check-​in and welcome to the check out was easy fast and friendly. The hosts were knowledgable and helpful. The sites were nice and the services were great.

This is a real nice KOA. The owners are nice, the store is great and the wifi good. We were in the lower section which worked nice, closer to the playground and pool. Bathrooms were clean. Short drive to the Gorge which is a must if in the area. Did not get out more than to the Gorge this trip but we like the area. Will be back.

2014 was the third year that we have returned to this campground with our young granddaughter who loves to fish. When we arrived several of the staff greeted our granddaughter by her name, remembering her from previous times here. The pond is nicely stocked and we enjoy the catch-​release feature. Since it is a private pond, one does not need a Vermont fishing license. Lots of frogs and salamanders for the kids to try to catch.
Everything is perfect which is important as my husband is handicapped. So we are able to camp near the restrooms which are as clean as mine is at home! Garbage and recyclables are collected every morning right in front of your site.
The staff is very polite and the owners are definitely visible and accessible at any time. They even helped us with our campfire, due to a storm that got our firewood damp. Nothing seems too good for their campers!
One can easily drive past the entrance to this Campgound, so look for the Route 4 Country Store and turn in on the entrance immediately across the road!!! The famous Route 4 Country Store with yummy BBQ is right across the road from this campground, so there is no need to go far for food when one doesn’t want to cook. We always go over there for delicious ice cream cones on hot afternoons.
On a very rainy day they suggested that we’d like going to the Montshire Museum where we eventually spent two days since it was so interesting. Make sure to go across the highway to Hanover, New Hampshire, home of Dartmouth University and eat at Roy’s on Main Street.
Our granddaughter who will be 8, has made me promise that we will stay for a whole week next year!!!

Very nice friendly staff at this, koa plenty of roomy sites and they booked this last minute for tonight in the middle July. Lotsa stuff to do nearby the woods a little pricier than some koa but still all in all it’s a good place to stop in

Very nice campground with very polite staff. Get what you need before arriving though. Everything at the store is very expensive. Great location even for locals.

This was a nice KOA. I was surprized by the small-​camp feel considering the large size of the campground. The ammenties were nice such as the store, bath houses, pool and projector screen for movie nights. I usually stay at DCR and state parks, but everything was full and decided to stay here. I would stay here again it was nice and a good value for the price.

We were here during Hurricane Irene the staff was on top of everything. They were taking in people that were put out of other campgrounds. The campground is great well maintained and very friendly owners. We will be back one of the best KOA’s we have ever stayed at.

Five minutes from VINS (which is why we are here), and close to Montshire Museum and King Arthur Flour! Win!

This is a private CG, not a state park, RV crowd so don’t compare to State Park. Clean, nice pool, lots of quaint General Stores in area (ice cream 24 flavors across street), Cabot Cheese, Hanover (Dartmouth) just down road. Welcome to VT.

I rolled through this great state of Vermont and stopped at this campground. This KOA is impeccably clean and well kept. The free wifi was weak, but at least it really was free, unlike some KOAs. The bathrooms were ventilated and clean. New shower curtains and nice tiled bathrooms. It’s as luxurious as a KOA gets. It’s a bit expensive compared to the local state run campgrounds, which run only about $ 14 –16 for a tent site. But if you choose to roll deep like this when camping, you’re gonna pay $ 35 plus tax. If you ain’t willing to pay, don’t play here. They do have boat rentals for their little lake for like $ 2/​hr. It’s nice to look at, but I’m not sure if I want to be swimming in that pond, though.
