Brick & Mortar is an urban boutique geared toward men that embraces community — offering trendy men’s clothing and fashion, one-​of-​a-​kind jewelry, home accessories, and gifts.

History

Established in 2006.

Brick and Mortar started out as a small men’s lifestyle shop in West Hollywood California. We quickly outgrew the 200 square foot space and moved to a great historic building a little further west that once housed the offices for Douglas Fairbanks Studios.

As a neighborhood boutique, we care about the design and aesthetic of our store and we feel that separates us from other stores in West Hollywood.

Meet the Business Owner

Evan H.

Business Owner

Evan Hughes opened Brick and Mortar when he was in graduate school at USC as a hobby. The store quickly caught on and developed a buzz in Los Angeles so the hobby turned into a business. Since it opened Brick & Mortar has introduced its own t-​shirt line and online shop. Steve joined Evan in 2012 to launch their online store and design shirts.

Evan is a Professor at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Steve is a freelance creative director.
