Chelsea is to hair color what Shakespeare is to literature. she’s been coloring my hair for about a year now, and every time she does I am ecstatic with the results. I started going to her after a long period of bleaching and toning, and she has gradually helped me get my previously damaged hair back to my natural color. my hair has never looked healthier or more multi-​dimensional! I am extremely picky and often have mini-​meltdowns after a color or cut I’m unhappy with, and I’ve never left Chelsea’s chair less than absolutely loving my hair. go to her!

I’ve been coming to Lindsey for over two years and can’t imagine my hair without her. I’m extremely picky about who cuts my hair. So much so, that I researched over 50 stylists in L.A. before taking the plunge. I will never turn back. She completely changed the way my hair even functions. To be more precise, even four months out, my cut and highlights still look amazing. People always stop me to ask about my hair. And its easy, I tell them Lindsey is my secret weapon. Visiting Lindsey is always laid-​back, cool, and fun. Trained at Vidal Sassoon, she brings years of high caliber experience and a sixth sense to everything she does. She corrected my hair color, gave me a cut I can do anything with, and makes me giggle to boot. When people ask, they never believe that my hair is highlighted because it looks so natural. I trust her completely with my hair and can’t recommend her highly enough!

There was my hair BL (that is, before Lindsey), and then there is my hair now! I used to be satisfied with a «great» haircut, but now look back at old photos of myself with those haircuts and think, «Wow, Lindsey has totally revolutionized my hair, and I will never be able to have my hair cut or colored by anyone else again.»
I started with Lindsey three years ago, when she was a master stylist and colorist at Chop Chop, and have gratefully followed her as she starts her own business with the talented Chelsea. When we first met, I wanted to grow my hair out long, but was concerned with how it would style day to day. Lindsey talked me through several options, correctly ascertained my desire, talked to me about how to brush and style my hair as I grew it out, and then proceeded to give me the most beautiful cut and color. My hair is now so long, and it looks amazing.
Every time I have gone to her since that first time, I have only to explain what I want/​need done, and I get all that and something even better. Lindsey works some sort of hair magic, and I could not recommend her more!

I was referred to Lindsey for my wedding updo. We did a trial run using pinterest pictures and she made some suggestions to make it my own. She gave me the MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding hair, it was exactly what I wanted, but beyond that, it was even more beautiful than I’d imagined. I have a lot of hair and it held up for the entire wedding day, from noon to midnight. Phew. Girlfriend is seriously talented. On top of that, she is so down to earth and fun to talk with. I was so impressed, I asked her to do my next haircut. Once again, she freaking nailed it, helping me blend in a bad haircut from last year and giving me back my face shape. The space she and Chelsea created is warm and welcoming, really cool vibe, and they play great music! I’m only going to see Lindsey from now on! Highly highly recommend!!!

Chelsea is the best! I’ve been getting my hair colored by Chelsea for 5 years, and I don’t know what I would do without her! We’ve been from blonde to red to brown and back a few times over. I feel so lucky to have found her. Prices are reasonable and the loft space is beautiful.

What’s better than a kick-​ass stylist? TWO! When I first met Chelsea 6 years ago, I was blown away by her talent as a colorist. I use to panic at even the thought of adding highlights to my naturally dark brown/​black hair. They just always came out brassy & orange… ugh. When Chelsea placed those magical hands on my head, I was amazed at the perfectly sun-​kissed honey color that she created!
Now that these two talented young ladies have teamed up together (& in the most adorable new spot btw), it’s a dream come true! I don’t know what I’d do without them! But I know one thing… I certainly wouldn’t be the sexy dream girl with the luxurious head of hair that I’m known as today.

Lindsey is the best. I live in NYC and make time whenever in LA to stop and see her. NO ONE ELSE can cut my hair the way she does! She remembers what she did to my hair during the last haircut (no matter how long ago!) and I’ve never left there unhappy. She does amazing blow outs as well and is so personable and positive, it’s an amazing place to get your hair cut!

Lindsey is wonderful! She has the skills you would expect at a high-​end salon, but without the snooty attitude that usually goes along with such places. She is super friendly, and down to Earth, and always takes her time, and attends to the smallest details, to make sure you leave with the best possible haircut. I have been going to Lindsey for almost 3 years, and was comfortable with her from the first time I sat in her chair. My hair is curly and has been difficult for most stylists I’ve gone to in my 40+ years to style. However, Lindsey took a minute, looked at my face, and was able to know exactly what I needed, without me even telling her. For years she has taken me from blonde to brunette, to blonde, to brunette, back to blonde, then to RED, and now she is thrilled I’m sticking with blonde for a while :) never has damaged my hair. Chelsea is amazing! I’ve been going to her for years and she just took me from brunette to blonde and my hair looks and feels great! I have been all colors and they just keep getting better and better thanks to this talented lady! The space is wonderful, it makes the time fly by. Chelsea and Lindsey are so nice and fun that I love it every time I need to get my hair done! Lindsey cut my hair perfectly for my new color. You can’t go wrong with these ladies!

If you want the best color and highlights of your life go see Chelsea!!! She has done my family’s hair since she left Vidal Sassoon and we will follow her wherever she goes! My daughter is an actress and has needed to color her hair for certain roles before. We request Chelsea because she has taken her from blonde to brunette and back to blonde again, with a little stop at a nice shade of red one time, all that were gorgeous! She is an absolute pro at making it just the right shade and placement of highlights, too.
I can tell you that you just can’t get a better colorist than Chelsea, and Ross Lujan Salon is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly. I love the little loft area upstairs and it’s really nice to have Lindsey there working with her again! The two of them make a really great team. You won’t be disappointed. :)

I’ve been coming to Lindsey for almost two years, and I’ve never had a bad cut. She always seems to remember what she did on my last visit and asks me questions about what I want to do again and what I’d like to change. She considers my hair’s texture and steers me away from cuts that might leave me with that dreaded mushroom shape.
Lindsey and Chelsea share a loft space in the Ross Lujan Studio, but they’ve decorated it and given it their own vibe. It’s very relaxed and stylish and they play great music.
For parking, there are meters on Santa Monica or you can go into the neighborhood for street parking (but read the signs). Without a resident pass, I was able to find free 2-​hour street parking on the closest side street.
So happy to have a stylist I can trust, who’s easygoing and fun and (most importantly) highly skilled!

This is the spot. These girls are masters. Sure, I don’t color my hair. Sure, I don’t have long luscious lockes. So who am I to talk about how f*ckin great they are? What do I know, you ask? I know I look like a goddang stud after I leave this place. I know that people ask me who I go to. I know that Lindsey (and pretty sure Chelsea ((sp?) too) graduated from Vidal Sassoon school of hair in London. Lindsey is legit on guy’s hair. She actually has a plan. She looks at your head and talks about shape and ‘corners’. She actually gives a shit and took in my head shape and features and what to compliment. Even telling me ‘no’ on the initial cut I wanted. ‘Not gonna look right on you.’ And she attacked me with a plan — sculpting with scissors and hot dance moves. It’s the best men’s cut I’ve ever had. Hands down.

Love this salon — great location, fun design. Lindsey is the best. She’s been cutting my hair for over a year and really knows her stuff. She understands hair, face, personality and above all — precision cutting. My cuts look great for weeks and weeks. She totally gets it and is SO fun and easy.

First let me start off by saying, LC Loft West Hollywood is THE best boutique salon in the city! Lindsey is my hair stylist, and she has turned my hair from jet black to the best balioige I have ever had. We took the time and stayed consistent, surprisingly because she’s so amazing it didn’t take long at all, and now people stop me everywhere I go to ask where I go to get my hair done. My hair keeps getting longer, looks healthier than ever, & has life to it all the time. I couldn’t be happier. Oh! & not to mention the ambiance is perfection. It’s not like other hair salons where there’s a million things happening and the office lighting makes you look blah. I love that I can grab a coffee bean on the corner, roll in casual, and have my girl Lindsey do her thing! while I read a mag, get work done, and walk out feeling like a whole new person. I hope this helps anyone looking for the perfect place to get their hair done by the best team.
