Outstanding cookies, brownies, and biscotti! The goodie tray made up for a corporate meeting was more than yummy! Thank you so much for all the GREAT service!

I am being generous with 2 stars. I walked in and said good morning to 2 workers and no costumers. No response. Even if you are busy, just say ‘one moment sir’ and I will understand that you are in the middle of something.
Ambience: 1 star. Dank, fluorescent lighting reminded me of middle school

There are a few great mom and pops for bakery items and coffee. If you value service and atmosphere, stop at Hartford baking company, Doms, coffee trade or basically anywhere else before wasting your time or money here.

Beth has been making our family cakes for years, they are rich and delicious almost reminding me of the French style cakes I ate when visiting Paris. Not just the cakes, but the wide array of other confections from brownies, cookies and scones to very elaborate and complex pastries. I really enjoy the treats here and very few places in the Hartford area can produce anything comparable.

After reading the excellent reviews about this place, I ordered a cake (picture provided) a week in advance and Beth could not have been more accommodating. She got back to me immediately to confirm details and when I would need it by. I picked up the cake and it exceeded my expectations.
Aside from the cake being absolutely stunning, it was the most delicious cake I have ever tasted. My boyfriend is obsessed with anything coconut, so when I saw this cake on the menu, I knew I had to get it for him for his birthday! Everyone was very pleased with the cake and could not stop talking about how fantastic it was.
My only critique is that the frosting was a bit much. This is a 4 layer coconut cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting; the frosting was too rich and sweet, which made the 4 layers of it extremely difficult to eat. There were about 4 others who said the same thing, so I wanted to provide the feedback. Maybe a whipped topping would be a better option?
Aside from the frosting, the cake was perfect and so was the service. I will definitely be using this bakery for any of my future special occasions! Thanks Beth!

Because my norma place had closed, I selected this for birthday cake. My ideas matched up with Beth’s and I paid !105 for 20 in cake. I kept expressing concerns that cake would not be big enough to feed 24 people, lucky it was a snow storm on day of party or we would have been very short, The cake did somewhat match pictures I presented, but tasted like a generic cake mix. In cutting normal sizes pieces, my 105 dollar cake fed 15. Considering the shop is In an industrial park, out of the way– this was overpriced. We threw away majority of product
