J & M Image Works

J & M came through for us big time on a special project with short notice. My wife was having a canvas printed for her grandparents’ anniversary but we only had a week to get it designed, printed, and stretched. We called J & M to see if it they could accommodate and they were very helpful. Mike talked us through price, the specifications for a PDF file, stretching, payment, pickup, etc. We sent them a PDF on Monday and they had a printed, stretched canvas ready for us on Thursday night. The end product is beautiful; we’re grateful to J & M for their great service, high quality, and fast turnaround.

i was in town for a teacher training and we had J&M imaging print up our group picture we used as a present for our teacher trainer. They had the prints done quickly and helped with some editing to make the picture look amazing! the gentleman that helped us was extremely nice and easy to work with. I’d definitely use them again!

Great customer service, quality work, and down to earth/​friendly staff. What more can you ask for?

I have to say that I’m not going to be going back to J & M ever again. I had two rolls of film developed (color as well as b&w) and received negatives as well as 2 cdrs containing the negative scans. On the b&w roll, I had severe wavering lined scratches at the tail end of my film that covered about 8 frames. On the color roll there was residue on a couple images. I requested full scans of all the negatives (including the sprockets) at extra cost and what I received were neg scans that were not straight within the tif file and had captured curling of the negative so that the image itself was warped and salvageable only through cropping. Had I known I was paying extra for poor quality images that resulted in having to crop an image (antithetical to having the full negative scanned) I would have opted for cropped images scanned within a tray to begin with. If all that was enough to make me unhappy, the customer service I received when bringing attention to my issues did not help matters either. I was told that they would not do anything further to help me outside of taking a look at the residue on my images and that if I wanted my images rescanned that I would have to pay more out of pocket. Apparently J & M cares more to keep $ 45 while trying to bilk a customer out of more money than to try and work with them so that they can receive an end result they are happy with. I certainly cannot recommend the work that they did. I would have been happy with the price if it was quality work but what I am left with is being charged more for shoddy work & damaged negatives and feeling devalued as a customer. I did not even ask for a refund, just for simple customer satisfaction at no extra cost and the dismissal of that is why I will not be a repeat customer.

Love, love, LOVE this place. $ 14 for 2 rolls of B&W film, and they were ready in 3 hours. Saved my butt when my school’s darkroom was closed!
