When I lived in Detroit, I visited this butcher all the time. The staff is extremely friendly and cuts all meat to order. You can pick out the specific rib that you want your steak cut from or which chicken you want to make your soup. They also have a rotisserie machine in the front that they use to make chickens, flanken, lamb ribs, turkey legs, etc… i called many times and asked for specific items on the rotisserie — my favorites were flanken and turkey legs. They also sell pre-made food. My favorite items were the soups, especially Chicken Pot Pie and sweet and sour meatballs. They also have various cooked vegetable and potato dishes, and roasted brisket every Friday for Shabbos. Honestly, everything ive tried was terrific. I wish a place like this would open up in Phoenix. Oh, and if you ask politely you may get a free sample from the rotisserie.
