I would not even take my car their to be serviced…
I lived and learned.

It was my son’s first truck and it seemed to be a good deal. He was so happy with it. He told me he was having trouble unlocking the driver door with his key. I told him to take it up to Parks Ford for them to look at it. He works away from town most of the time so when he gets back to town, it’s late. Today was the first chance to take it to have it looked at. He gets there and they want to charge him $ 100 to look at it. I spoke with the service manager to explain my son’s situation being his first truck and learning and they wanted to treat it under warranty with $ 100 deductible. They wouldn’t consider the it.
Lost my business

I have been buying cars and having cars worked on for 34 years and in my opinion this is one of the shadiest service departments I have ever dealt with. Let’s review the sequence of events.
1. Mustang is covered under bumper to bumper warranty.
2. Manual transmission is not performing to specs.
3. Parks Ford disassembles transmission and it is determined by the warranty carrier that it will not be covered because there is an after market part that was installed in the transmission.
4. Parks Ford installed the after market part and never implied in any way it would void the warranty.
5. The car that was drive-​able before it was brought is now in pieces in their garage.
6. They insist on a $ 700.00 payment for disassembling the transmission and will not release the car until that’s paid and will not reassemble the transmission.
7. Service Manager tries to be the nice guy and gives me a deal to rebuild the transmission for $ 5,200.00. That’s right $ 5,200 for $ 800.00 in parts. I guess it takes $ 4,400.00 in labor to fix a transmission.
8. Rental car cost while they continue to chip away at my wallet exceeds $ 400.00 and won’t be covered because they voided the warranty.
9. Paid around $ 700.00 to get the car back.
10. Paid $ 120.00 to have it towed.
11. Brought a transmission online for $ 800.00 and replaced it with a friend.
12. Car is running like a champ. Maybe I should subcontract to Parks Ford and make $ 4,400.00 for 10 man hours of work.
Like I said, this is my opinion but I would never, ever send anyone to this place. Never trust a mechanic with a pressed shirt, clean hands, and a sparkling white smile. They’ll try to get you every time. Did I mention that this was all done to my 23 year old son? They see young ones come in and see dollar signs. Small claims court may have been a better answer but with the power of social media and my opinion of their work practices they will lose enough business to see what happens when customers don’t come first.

Great experience! Down to earth, real guys. Brett Rumford was great to work with as was Vince in finance. Recommend!

We were talked by Parks Ford into letting them pick our 2015 Ford Escape up from a dealer in Alabama, just because we wanted to order from the factory. We thought it was going to be brought to us via a flatbed truck. NO! They drove it the 480 miles from Alabama to Florida. When we mentioned the mileage, we were told don’t worry about it, Ford will still cover it all on the warranty (A lie).
We purchased a 100k maintenance plan, 3m ScotchGard for the paint and window tint, so I’m pretty sure the dealership made enough money from us.
Before all this, we owned a 2010 Ford Escape that we bought while we were living in Kentucky. When we moved first to Florida, Parks Ford treated us well. Then, back in January 2016, we came to Parks Ford for an oil change and to have something removed that was on the paint that we couldn’t wash off. Three hours went by and finally they said that the car was ready. We go to the car to discover that they never touched it. It still had stuff on the paint. We also complained about it taking three hours for an oil change. The service writer kept saying ‘I didn’t write you up’. So what did they do for those three hours?
We had an appointment. We did not just drop in on them.
They took the car back to the detail shop and, after three more hours, they got the car looking good again. So it was six hours for an oil change and washing the car.
We complained to the GM dealership by email and snail mail. Many weeks later and we still haven’t heard anything. I won’t be returning to Parks Ford. They are a disorganized dealership with zero communication skills. Salesman Robert Vido likes to just tell you what he thinks you want to hear and does not follow up. This is all just my opinion but I want to say – customer beware!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Disorganized dealership, lack of communication between BDC and sales department, VERY rude sales managers, terrible business ethics. After scheduling an appointment to test drive FIVE days in advance, I drove an hour away on my day off to find out they had sold the vehicle the night before. Nobody called or emailed or anything to try and notify me. Was upset upon finding out, and sales managers couldn’t care less. Asked to speak to GM and was laughed at and told he wasn’t available. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND DOES NOT HAVE A CARE IN THE WORLD FOR ITS CUSTOMERS’ valuable time!

This review is for my experience with the internet sales team. As with any car purchase there is always some waiting as you navigate through the different choke points at a dealership (management, finance, extra), however our salesman Dorian did a great job of meeting our needs. I was very pleased with how the sale was handled and hope that the service team is just as good.

Very bad customer services and no communication with customer at all. I am highly disappointed this place, they put their clients life in a risk by not doing a inspection. If you have other choose, do not go to here

After four visits we signed an agreement to purchase a pre owned vehicle. We were told we had to take delivery that evening so we asked to speak to the finance person. The sales manager told us he would be tied up for «quite a while» (it was already 5:30 PM) and directed to go home and apply on line which we did. Frank, one of the sales managers, communicated with us and on the morning of pick up we received a confirmation e mail stating they were prepared for our arrival. Five minutes later we got a call the car had been sold! This is the second unprofessional interaction with PARK this year. The sales people are nice but the dealership in my opinion does not have the integrity to honor their signed sales agreements nor their verbal communications with customers. It felt like a bait and switch technique as we were then offered a much older vehicle for a higher price than our signed deal. We were told to take our business elsewhere. However it is my opinion we would not have been treated like this if my husband was with us.

Completely irresponsible and careless management! Incredibly careless with the vehicles they are entrusted with and take no ownership of the issues they cause. Avoid at all costs!

We just purchased a car for our daughter from Lezlea at Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel. We test drove it a couple of days ago and got a great deal. Lezlea called us and followed up with us as we researched and made our decision. When we went back in today everything was prepared for us, expediting the buying process. Lezlea was very professional and didn’t pressure us to commit. We could tell she was a mom by the kind way she treated our 16 year old daughter. If you’re looking for an honest, kind car salesperson, go see Lezlea!

I didn’t have an appointment but they worked me in. My car was serviced correctly and in a timely fashion .

We bought a car from another Ford Dealership and they are doing what they can to get it fixed. Very courteous and we made sure we had a appointment which we set up online. Love that once it’s fixed it will have a factory warranty.

I had a really good experience buying a new car here a few years ago. Last weekend, said car had a freak out while I was driving (very scary) and the transmission light came on. I called and was able to come in same day. They were very obviously slammed with lines at every service managers desk and rows of cars in the drop off line. They were still able to diagnose the issue, call me as-​promised (same day) and have parts ordered. Thank goodness everything is under warranty — I’ll likely be trading this car in (that turns out has surfaced as having transmission issues in this model year) at the same dealership.

My wife and I bought a used vehicle from Parks Ford in June of 2014, just to be used to drive around town to run errands. After negotiating the price, which included the usual dramatic dealership run-​around, and waiting an outrageous amount of time for them to get the paperwork together and handled properly, and then bring the vehicle to the front, with a proud look we were told by the salesman that their «quality maintenance team» performed an «80+ point inspection» on the vehicle. So, we were thankful that we were able to find something we liked that would fit the need we had and drove the vehicle home. We even recommended Park Ford to my in-​laws who purchased a used vehicle from them within a week.
Well…this «80+ point inspection» I guess didn’t include checking to be sure the vehicle had an emergency brake; we had to find out the hard way. We had to take the vehicle back to have one installed, which lead to the statement by one of the maintenance workers that they «really don’t do ‘the inspection’ on used units». So, I guess the salesman was not made aware of that in his training.
Within a month the backseat driver-​side window quit working and the drive shaft began sticking and now it’s difficult to put it into Park. So, I took it back again in remembering the statement made, «if you have anymore problems, bring it on back and we’ll take care of you». Well, this «bring it on back» cost me $ 100 just to tell me what I had already known, and the «fix» for these two problems were going to cost me $ 1,500. I only paid $ 7,000 for the vehicle. And six months later I’m in my driveway having to replace the alternator… cause it saved me at least $ 600 to do it myself rather than taking it back to Parks Ford.
I will NEVER again buy a vehicle from Park Ford, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Bad business, dishonest, and poor quality of service and vehicles, at least for the used and pre-​owned.

Wayne, Paul, and the rest of the team at Parks Ford were easy to work with and very creative. They made the car buying process as simple as possible with an upgraded ride home. Thank you Parks Ford! :)

Wasn’t thrilled with the usual tricks. Long drawn out process rather than getting to the brass tax of things. Tell you one price on trade then have another on the paperwork. Called in 2x and never got a call back after 2 questions needed simple answers. Was told the vehicle in question had the option that we deemed a make or break option so we drove the 90 miles to find out that option wasn’t on there. Really in today’s day and age so much info can be had and it’s frustrating when you go in ready to buy something to find out it’s the wrong something and the process from a-​z takes far too much effort. I’ll buy online next time. Less mess and no car dealer tricks to deal with.

Went to get an oil change, great service, everyone called you by name. I was well informed of all what was going on, thank goodness it was just an oil change!
They also washed and dried my car before returning it to me.
Definently coming back!
