Jaco Juice and Taco Bar

I really really really wanted to love this place. The idea of juice and tacos is a great idea and although their smoothies are very good I wish they would advertise themselves and the menu to emphasize their «hipster» twist to things. First, I made it a point to try every taco on their menu in the hopes that one would essentially be the home run but unfortunately the best part about their tacos is the tortilla. I wont go on a whole novela on why the food isn’t good but I will say that their «salsa» taste like tomato paste, their guacamole is bland and most if not all of the tacos lack the complimenting flavor profile that a freshly made taco would suggest. Again, I really really wanted to love this place but their is a lot of revamping they should do with how they marinate and present their tacos. Its kind of insulting to have people think that is how tacos should taste. All in all go at least for the smoothies.

Loved the décor, vibe, music… the staff were all super friendly & engaging.
I wasn’t sure what the concept would be like first hearing about the Juice & Taco deal, but it was perfection. Had a delicious fluffy egg burrito with salsa, avocado & cheese prepared right in front of us. Chased that down with a Mean Green juice – everything organic prepared organically & healthily right in front of you.
Wish I lived here for it to be my staple juice/​smoothie bar & healthy meal spot! Need one in NYC stat! :)

I am SO happy to have a great place for breakfast in the neighborhood. The staff is so welcoming and friendly (unlike most Georgetown establishments) and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos and the Sweetgreenz juice. Don’t forget to ask for some of the herb infused hot sauce to go.

This is a nice new addition to Georgetown! Being from northern CA, I can always go for some tacos or a burrito. The fact that they have smoothies, is even more amazing! The PB&J is my favorite :)

Uh this is pretty much the best. Friendly, relaxed, quick, healthy. Everything I have tried has been perfect, and very fairly priced. I basically have to limit my visits or I would be here twice a day. Go, often ;)

Loved the vibe at Jaco! Great customer service and killer atmosphere. All of the employees were super welcoming. I tried the BBQ shrimp tacos, and rice & beans. The tacos were delicious. I believe I had the Manhattan juice, or Brooklyn? Can’t recall the name, but it was super tasty. Would love to see a tacos + beer combo in the future. Cannot wait to return!

Super cute little hole in the wall off Wisconsin next to a piano place. The place is fairly small inside but it’s cozy none the less. I always get the mad mango smoothie whenever I go which is super sweet & amazing. I get the beef taco too which taste really good & fresh. My only set back is the prices seem a bit high for how small my tacos & smoothie are. But I do enjoy eating here & it’s right around the corner from where I live. Pretty convenient. I just wish they stayed open later too!

It’s alright, had the Santa Fe Burrito… Kinda plain, not much flavor to it.
The smoothie was good, had the mad mango fresh fruit.

Jaco has been the best addition to the Georgetown neighborhood since I moved there 3 years ago. I moved to D.C. from Austin, Texas, where every neighborhood has an organic juice & smoothie bar. When I moved to D.C., I joked with my friends that I needed to open a juice bar in Georgetown to satisfy my juice & smoothie cravings. I couldn’t be happier that Jaco has finally arrived! The smoothies are fresh and thirst-​quenching, and the tacos are savory and delicious. So far I’ve tried the Baco Taco (add pulled pork) and the Plain Jane smoothie. I give them both 5 stars. Excited to work my way through the whole menu!

Love this new spot. Delicious fresh smoothies, La Colombe coffee (the best) and tasty breakfast burritos in the am. Delicious tacos and burritos for lunch.
All in a friendly cozy spot on Wisconsin Ave.

My lady and I went for lunch last Sunday and got seats at the counter. We tried 6 different tacos and two juices. Everything was great. Good variety of taco fillings, all tasty. Super friendly, helpful staff. You can tell they brought down some good people from PA. This is the type of place Georgetown has lacked. I can’t wait to go back and eat my way through the menu.

I really really want to like this place, although kind of a peculiar concept. Tacos + juice. Not really sure where this idea came from, however I like tacos and I like juice, even better I like acai bowls!
First disappointment was I found out about this place in early fall and it has taken them until January to open their doors. Key my anticipation blowing through the roof. They are on winter hours right now, so early mornings until 5 pm. Not bad for a place right by my work and on my way.
I stopped early in the morning for an acai bowl. I’m a native Coloradan and just spent a decent amount of time in Southern California, naturally I’m a huge fan of these things. However, I didn’t think my acai bowl was anything more than a smoothie in a bowl. Tad disappointing, especially for the $ 10 I was willing to shovel out.
Restaurant is set back farther from the street. Cute little store front with limited seating inside. Regardless the décor was adorable and the staff was even more pleasant. I want to come back solely based on my experience.
Tacos are next on my bucket list at Jaco Taco but I might leave the acai bowl To someone else, despite them being largely unavailable in DC

Here it is. The mother of all the west coast is known for. Burritos, fresh pressed juice, good coffee, smoothies that taste good (even though they have kale), and BOOM customer service.
Good looking men. Fresh fruit. The aroma of glorious tacos and fresh greens. Everything made in-​house. Their service is not only great, but fast. You’re treated well and they get you what you want. What more can a millennial ask for?
Living down the street just got a million times better.
I’ve been here three times and they opened only a matter of days ago.

We have recently moved our indian clothing store here. In this area, the food options were not really what we wanted. But when this Hispanic themed restaurant recently opened, we decided to give it a shot. The food was delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. They were happy to take my order. There are so many food options so you will never get bored eating one dish. I highly recommend you to check this place out.

While on a morning walk this morning, we found this little café! Although we only had coffee (and a free sample of a juice) we have plans to come back soon — awesome fresh healthy menu and cute space– only have seating for about 12 – 15 people at the bar/​corner table.
