I’ve been going to Dr Melanie Buttross for 12 years and she is the best! As is her staff. Everyone is professional, friendly and very accommodating. I had the first of my cataract surgeries today and the care, starting with Dr. Buttross calling me last night to let me know exactly what was going to happen, to her sign in team, to her anesthesiologist and all the nurses who took care of me, could not be any better. Every time I told someone I was having this surgery people wanted to know if I had a second opinion and when I said no, they said I had to, but then their second opinion referral was Dr. Buttross! Really!

I honestly have FORGOTTEN how I found Dr. Shilpa D. Rose. I was in search of a new ophthalmologist and found this office.
The staff is SUPER professional. The office is clean and spread out (patients don’t feel that they are on top of each other, waiting to see the doctor).
Now, down to the REAL matter — the medical treatment. Dr. Rose never made me feel rushed or that I didn’t matter. She took real time to ask me questions about my health and eyes. She performed all necessary eye tests and gave me honest feedback on how I should handle the health of my eyes, going forward. She was calming and not abrasive.
I initially saw her at the beginning of 2014 for my routine visit. One day, a couple of months later, I had «something» in my eye that I could not wash out, get out, etc. Dr. Rose was about to leave for the day and the receptionist told her about my situation and Dr. Rose squeezed me in. THAT is caring for your patients’ health and being concerned about them.
The office is professional. Plenty of parking and the building is easily accessible by car or bus.
I am happy that I’ve found a SUPERB and totally professional ophthalmologist!
