Accounting 4 DC is a local accounting firm that strives to become strategic, business advisors for our clients.

Accounting 4 DC provides customized off-​site controller and accounting functions to clients who, for various reasons — such as space and budget — may not have in-​house bandwidth for such resources.

We routinely provide the following services for small to mid-​sized businesses:

— Analyzing, managing and executing strategic business decisions

For small businesses and individuals we provide:

— Tax preparation and filing

We tailor our services to the needs of our clients. For example, we have the capability to provide these services on– or off-​site, allowing for face-​to-​face meeting when necessary and working virtually based on the client’s needs and preferences.

History

Established in 2009.

Accounting 4 DC was started in an effort to provide people with affordable assistance with all their accounting needs. We want to change people’s view of accounting and professional service firms by always being accessible and providing excellent customer service.

Business Owner

I decided to start my own company after working in for various accounting firms and government contractors for 10 years. I heard repeatedly from people how they were being billed exceptionally high rates for services they didn’t understand or for a 15 minute phone call. I also heard complaints about how tax preparation chains did not seem to have preparers who were trained accountants. As someone passionate about accounting I though «how can I serve people better»? As a result I decided to form Accounting 4 DC.

I am excited to be able to apply my ten years of experience along with a B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A in Finance towards establishing a relationship with local residents and business owners.
