Carrie LaShell is a Certified Image & Style Expert, and the author of The Outside/​Inside Magic of a Great Image. She has helped 2000+ women improve their image in the course of her 15 year career. She founded Such Savvy Style to improve both the lives of women and men by giving them the tools to look and feel their best. Her goal is to help you find your own style and to add the finishing touches that will make you feel fabulous about yourself. Such Savvy Style’s Certified Image Consultant and Stylist Carrie LaShell offers wardrobe planning, color analysis and personal shopping services for both women and men.

Carrie is a member of AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) and is a Past President. She is a Certified Image Consultant through the Stoltz Image Institute where she has been certified in color analysis, body style analysis, personal shopping, as well as closet and wardrobe training. She has also been certified by Style for Hire with Stacy London.

I am a Success Coach working with individual clients as well as giving seminars and workshops to large rooms of people. I want my image needs to be professional with a splash of playfulness… definitely not boring. Carrie LaShell is incredible — she went through my suits, shirts, ties, pocket squares, shoes… and created a portfolio of different ‘hot’ outfits that are a perfect match for the image I want. Now, it takes me less than 3 minutes to decide what to wear… I just open up my online portfolio (she will also prepare a physical photo album), make a choice, and know that I’m going to look great. No worry, no stress — super easy. She also makes recommendations of what to buy to fill holes in my wardrobe — for me, cordovan colored dress shoes, a dark grey or dark brown suit. Yes, she also told me which clothes not to wear because they did not make me look good, based on their fit, outdated style, pattern, and color.
I am much more confident now with what I wear, and I’ll make smarter buying decision in the future.

Carrie is fantastic! She came to my house one afternoon and we went thru my closet. Carrie weeded out dated looking clothes & put together lots of outfits with accessories! I just wish she could hear all the wonderful compliments!
Next we took a shopping trip. Wow! I feel like I have a store in my closet & am having a great time wearing all these new outfits! Carrie was great for picking out things that really looked right on me. I think of all the times I have bought things only to wear them once or twice. I have a great wardrobe now thanks to Carrie!

Carrie has dressed me for multiple special occasions and I always feel amazing! I hire Carrie when I am stressed out about what to wear and I always leave my appointment feeling excited and self-​assured. She dressed me from head to toe for a few interviews recently and I’ve never felt more confident! Not only did Carrie accurately assess me to determine the kind of high impact, low ego look I wanted but she was so dedicated to making sure I had the perfect outfit for one interview that she helped me complete it with selections from her own wardrobe! Whether we’re shopping or putting together outfits, Carrie goes above and beyond every single time!

Carrie is so great! She was such a trooper coming in to help me while our upstairs master was being remodeled. It was a mess but she was completely professional and a huge help! I would reccomend her for anyone that needs help getting their closet organized or if you need a closet refesher.

As a single, working dad with very little knowledge of fashion and two daughters… Carrie is a timesaver and super cost effective.
Within a few hours she assessed my daughters’ closets and we were shopping to complete their wardrobe with outfits that are all winners. She takes time to understand our style preferences and is able to take us to the exact places to find the best outfits. If I were doing it alone, the shopping trip alone would have taken three times as long going from store-​to-​store and the outfits would be hit or miss.
I plan to use Carrie for years to come for both me and my kids… she is awesome!!!

Carrie was at my house today and in 2 hours she put 15 outfits together from clothes in my closet. I have shopped with Carrie several times and you end up getting things that look good and go together. You actually save money when you shop with Carrie. My nephew and brother-​in-​law call Carrie the «clothes whisperer». This is so true. We take pictures of outfits and accessories so all you to do is look at your book and you never again say «what will I wear today»?

Carrie has been a life saver for me! I am the kind of person who always questions what I wear and has anxiety of how I will look in pictures. Naturally, after getting engaged a year ago, I panicked as those pictures last forever! Carrie is the best! I really didn’t think I needed Carrie as I LOVE TO SHOP myself so I started out having her come to my home and go through my closet. Well, Carrie came up with so many cute outfits from clothes that I never wear — her services paid for themselves! I then ventured out shopping with her and what a difference it made even as a shopper myself — she is brutely honest, while still being sweet as can be, and she won’t let you make costly mistakes buying items that are not the best choice for your body type or coloring. Carrie is an excellent style consultant and personal shopper — not only is she able to recognize what styles of clothing fit and flatter you best, but she delivers her recommendations with honestly, thoughtfulness, and a real desire to make sure you look good! Carrie has built so many great relationships with clothing store assistants that they greet her by name when you enter a store with her (this also helps to get great bargains too!) In addition to her skills as mentioned here and by other reviewers, is also Carries strong work ethic, she is a hard worker who goes the extra mile to help her clients — this is a sign of someone who loves what they do and because of this alone I would recommend her to other Unilocalers!

Carrie LaShell helped me create a style that fits my personal brand, personality and lifestyle. I was looking for a stylist who could help me update my closet. Carrie was recommended to me by a friend who utilizes her services. The first step was my closet. It was like a nice version of, «what not to wear». I’m not hopeless in choosing clothes but I also was struggling with the fact that I had lost a lot of weight and my clothes didn’t fit properly. The closet experience with Carrie was amazing and she took the opportunity to explain to me why something did or didn’t work for me and how I can make the style my own. We donated clothes that didn’t work and altered other clothes. Now, I can reach in my closet and everything fits nicely.
Later that week, we went shopping together. I’m actually a great shopper for other people but I can never find things that I like for myself. As we shopped, She took the time to explain what to look for (colors, patterns, styles) and what I should avoid. I ended up saving a lot of money and time in the end and Carrie kept me under budget. The best part is that I don’t wake up every morning and say, «I have nothing to wear today.»

Carrie knows what she is doing! She is an expert with helping you choose clothing that compliments your body style and colors that enhance your skin tone. I love shopping with Carrie because she knows exactly where to go. I don’t like going to department stores because I find it overwhelming. I can never find what I’m looking for. Carrie is a department store tour guide! She knows where to go and who to talk to. Her website is very informative and explains what services she offers. I definitely recommend Such Savvy Style.

Carrie is awesome! I have been to couple of her workshops and also used some of her services. She is super informative about all sorts of information that I had no idea about. She is wonderful with helping dress for your body type as well as color coordianting for your color palette. I have been shopping with her and she not only helps save money with her knowlege of sales, discounts and coupons sometimes, but incourages me to try things that I wouldnt normally try. I always end up LOVING it.
Not only is Carrie very good at her job, she is sweet, funny and bubbly. You feel like you are out shopping with a good girlfriend… that just happens to know the tricks of the trade. Well worth every penny! I actually saved money because she helped me use things in my own closet and added tons of new looks for me! 5 Stars!
