Great spot! Waitress was friendly, kept the coffee flowing, and the food was incredible! I got the salmon Benedict on the waitresses recommendation and it did not disappoint. This place is a little pricey($ 36 for me and my buddy. We got coffee and an entrée.) but it’s worth it!

Enjoyed our first corned beef hash breakfast here. Very attentive service, especially Stacy. We found the one area we sat in kind of noisy, but we reseated in a courteous manner. Will be back to try some other items on the breakfast menu for our weekend morning date.

Good spot to come. It’s a walk in and find your own seat kind of spot… But no one tells you and there are no signs. So you walk in waiting… And waiting to be acknowledged but I guess it takes the wait staff a few minutes to realize how the seating works as well. Order my food had some coffee and water watched a lil Wendy Williams/Price is right. Food came… Everything seemed to be seamless until… two regulars walked in and ordered cinnamon rolls to go, Everyone(less then ten people in the whole restaurant) was forgotten about and I literally just sat with half a plate of food in front of me for about 15 minutes. Best part– I was sitting at the bar. FINALLY some waitress in training(gold Star for her) came over acknowledged me refilled my water and brought a to go box! Overall this is a good spot to come and grab a quick sit down meal– but the service is lacking(minus my gold star waitress is training).

Me and that guy went today to grab a quick bite after i got out of school and before he had to go to work. Not bad at all, I certainly enjoyed my free latte! The Food Me: eggs, bacon, country potatoes and wheat toast. Him: Corned beef hash, eggs, taters and an english muffin. The food was good, not the best I have had and certainly not the worst. The waitress was good but she never asked the guy if he wanted a refill on his cup of Joe. I will go back, not sure when tho. 1 thumb up yo! 2016 Review #2 out of 100

Note: this place gets busy! We lucked out because we were having Saturday brunch AND we had to go earlier than originally planned — so we got there at 10:30 a.m. and waited 10 minutes to get a seat. At 11 a.m. there were about 6+ parties waiting for seats. The staff here seem really nice. They all had smiles to give, and they all were happy to help if you needed something. I wasn’t in the mood for a large brunchy kind of breakfast so I had a mocha and the granola with yogurt. The mocha was delicious! I was very happy. The granola was crunchy and the yogurt(which said on the menu was non-fat but I’m not really sure) had a lot of flavor as well. They has some cut-up bananas and strawberries in there too so I ended up getting waaay more food than I needed. The hubby had a breakfast burrito and a bloody mary. He didn’t say anything about either of them and I got the feeling he wasn’t super impressed. He also kept trying to get in on my mocha action. The food looked pretty good, although it was kind of weird how it came pre-cut. I think they actually make two burritos and then cut them in half and bring them to you. The potatoes on the side were good. I think the real winner was my friend’s dish. He had the croissant sandwich. He said the croissant was one of the best ever. All in all, it was a good, solid place but I won’t be rushing back. There was nothing really special about the place.

Heavenly Bistro is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy for breakfast/brunch. It is my go-to breakfast place on Sunday mornings when I’m tired of cooking. On my last visit, I had the California omelette and it was absolutely divine! The menu has a large selection and the staff is very helpful and personable. On a different occasion, I did the bottomless mimosas deal and they gave generous portions of champagne. It was awesome!

It was OK. Service was ok, very friendly staff but just a bit slow… Didn’t get any greeting when my family and i came in so we sat ourselves. Nice looking place. Food was ok. Pretty basic. Something I can make at home myself. Although, portions are pretty hefty.

The benedicts at Heavenly Bistro are super yum, but the service and my experience here overall was very meh… Came here with a friend for brunch yesterday and we weren’t given menus until 10 minutes after we sat down(I guess they forgot about us lol). I ordered the salmon benedict while my friend order the crab benedict, and they were very quality basically everything you could ask for in a benedict! But I was really let down when I cut into one of my poached eggs and it was completely cooked/not runny at all :( My friend also ordered a mimosa which unfortunately had way too much champagne in it – you couldn’t even taste the orange juice. I also got a free chai latte with my Unilocal check-in that barely had any chai flavor in it I felt like I was drinking cream the whole time. Servers were rather inattentive and rarely came by our table.

Heads up, this review is on breakfast only. Came for a brunch… which means I was checking out the place with the girl squad. I am a huge breakfast fan. While checking the place out a cinnamon rolls was in view. A order of a roll was needed for the table. Pretty yummy and soft. We got it before out order. It was like a breakfast appetizer. I was debating on what to get for breakfast. After oWhile checking the place out a cinnamon rolls was in view. A order of a roll was needed for the table. Pretty yummy and soft. We got it before out order. It was like a breakfast appetizer. ur server and she offered a suggestion(YAY). I went with it and totally was not disappointed. I got the Hash Benedict. Totally recommend it if you are stuck between one of the(many) options for a Benedict or the corn beef and eggs breakfast — as this was my dilemma. I would be returning to this establishment for more yummy goodness.

Came here with my Fiancé &2 kids. Didn’t know we had to wait a while-I’d say about 30−40min tops. The food was good. I had a Chorizo Omelette, my Fiancé had Scrambled eggs with sausage & toast I believe, & the kids had Chocolate Chip pancakes & Strawberry Pancakes with whip cream. Their prices are reasonable for the amount of food that they give. The only thing I would suggest when going there is maybe call ahead of time to make a reservation IF they even do reservations. Or, just expect to wait a while if you dnt mind the wait. Would def. come back here again.(:

Given their location, I probably wouldn’t have given this a chance at all. My sister’s raved about this place, yet I’ve remained uninterested. However, one day her boyfriend brought us breakfast from here and I don’t know why, but he got me a crab omelet… You guessed it, that did it for me. So far, I’ve had two of their entrees to date and they were both Excellent! The only issue I have is the lack of parking spaces in this plaza. Unfortunately it is enough to deter me from coming at least during the busy times.

I love to have breakfast at Heavenly Bistro. I don’t come as often as I want anymore but I always have a delicious meal when I do find the time to eat here. My favorite is by far the Bistro Benedict, but I’ve tried various other Benedicts and they’ve all tasted fabulous. Likewise for their Huevos Rancheros and the Ham, Cheese & Egg Croissant Sandwich. Seriously, you can’t really go wrong with anything off the menu here at Heavenly Bistro. Occasionally I’ll splurge and get a scone, too. Man those are some delectable and sweet morsels of joy!

Got here at about 10am on a Sunday with some friends. As we pulled up to the parking lot, I was like, why are we pulling into these apartments and 7⁄11? But that’s where this place is! We got to sit right away because we beat the rush! Make sure you check in, you get a chai latte for freeeeee! I had the corned beef with eggs, and potatoes and sourdough toast. I couldn’t finish it all! I loved the bottled salsa they had on the table. I was a huge fan of their potatoes that came with my dish. Our service was really great, too.

Great breakfast place on the weekends. Saturday’s they have unlimited mimosas. Overall food is tasty. Decorations could improve, it’s a little dated, and the menu doesn’t fit the décor. Great for family’s and couples, and they have a full bar area you can sit at as well; plus outdoor seating when it’s warm.

Love this place for brunch! Decided to check place out due to the fact that it was around the car dealership; a good spot to kill time. It wasn’t too busy and the ambiance was very comfy. Service was excellent, very attentive and very friendly. Ordered bacon benedict and turkey benedict, both were fulfilling and delicious! The server recommended using the pepper plant sauce they have, and it made the potatoes tasty! Still have yet to find that sauce for the house. Checked in and received a complimentary mimosa. On top of that, also received complimentary chai tea after the meals! That was quite a surprise. Both were good not to say the least, the mimosa had a great ratio of orange juice and alcohol, whereas the chai tea was sweet and somewhat creamy. The only thing is that the parking can be a bit cramped, but this place would definitely be a go to for brunch on the weekends.

I’ve had Heavenly Bistro bookmarked for quite some time and so happy I finally got to try it. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much that we went here twice in one month! I love it’s cute café feel, that could easily fit in, in downtown Walnut Creek but that it’s off the beaten path with a parking lot and plenty of spaces. At the 12 o’clock hour it’s still quite busy but we got seated pretty quickly. If you go closer to 2, it’s starting to empty out. The first time I went I got the veggie sandwich-plenty of fresh veggies, light and tasty salad and huge portions. Last weekend I got the veggie omelette with roasted potatoes and wheat toast. The potatoes were absolutely delicious-crisp and well seasoned. You can definitely see and taste the quality of their ingredients. My bf ordered the tuna melt and fries both times and we’re both looking forward to coming back. Super friendly and attentive service, with what seems to be a family run business. I’ll definitely keep coming back and can’t say enough good things about this local spot.

Checked this place out because of how close I live and the foot traction this place attracts. The service is a D + and the food is a B — Got a free chai latte for checking in and it was the best part of the meal. I’m not sure if if they’re understaffed or just don’t have enough time to really pay attention to the needs of their customers. Got the huevos rancheros and the hash Benedict. Both meals were mediocre. The faster service was when we needed to pay for our meals. Other than that everything took longer than usual in a restaurant. We sat next to their service station and literally served ourselves, refilled our own waters because the pitcher was right behind us and no one was offering refills and grabbed to go boxes. I think they’d be better off buffet style after this kind of service. My advice to management: hire more people or provide better training because even when things slowed down the service was still bad.

Must goooo! This place is really great for breakfast. I’m one who thinks it is really tough to screw up a breakfast but these folks so a great job of making everything taste amazing. FYI — if you check-in you get a free latte or mimosa. We went the mimosa route but they said«they didn’t do the mimosa anymore.» We talked to the manager and they waived it no problem. However it still says mimosa so be aware of that. Overall this place was really good and I will be back when I’m in Walnut Creek again. The Belgian waffle was especially delicious.

*skip to the bottom for a summary* I’m pretty sure a lot of people lag on writing reviews(me), but I’m trying my best to get them out as soon as I can while my memory is fresh, anyone feel me on that ?? So I came here today with my Bestfriend and I’ve bookmarked this place awhile ago and I’m glad that I finally got to mark this place off on my bookmark list. So apparently my Bestfriend has been here a few times already and had the same waitress every time, saying she was very nice and super helpful so I kind of had a little bit of an expectation. Didn’t realize that this place was in the area it was, the address stated that it was in walnut creek… But it was very close to Pleasant Hill Bart and Best Buy(which I consider pleasant hill), so that kind of threw me off. This place is in a little plaza that includes 7 – 11, some massage place and other small shops. Kind of a small parking lot but at least there’s street parking. The inside is pretty spacious, pretty good place for big groups of people. This place closes at 3PM, we got there around 2:15ish so the place was pretty empty by the time we got there. I didn’t realize that you get your own menu when you walk in, it’ll be directly near the doorway once you walk in. We got to choose our own seating and we kind of took awhile to browse through the menu because, well, I was torn between the Dungeness crab Benedict or the heavenly bistro combo. So the prices on their menu here is not the same prices shown on their website, some prices were $ 2+ in difference, so you’ll be spending about $ 10+ per person. Someone should update their website on the current prices.(I posted some photos of the current prices). I ended up getting the heavenly bistro combo$ 10.95: 3 buttermilk pancakes(with chocolate chips +$ 1), 2 strips of bacon, a sausage and eggs. Everything was overall alright, the bacon was a little bit on the salty side and I definitely needed some toast, the combo should include a piece of toast instead of the small single sausage because the eggs became really messy while I was eating(I ordered sunny side up). The pancakes were soft and fluffy but like I said, everything was okay. Nothing really stood out, no «I have to come back here for this» moment, but if I do come back, I’ll get their eggs Benedict since my Bestfriend said the portions are huge. Our waitress was eh, she wasn’t horrible but she wasn’t spectacular. She barely talked to us and she messed up on one of the orders and almost forgot our side potatoes. It’s no big deal overall and I wouldn’t mind coming back, probably at a earlier time, maybe service would be better then. I’ll update my review next time I come here. SUMMARY: — $ 10+ per person — check in through Unilocal and you can get a free mimosa or latte — small parking lot and street parking — prices on the Unilocal link isn’t the same as the prices in the restaurant itself — menus will be directly at the entrance — good place for big groups — portions are great for the price

It’s not every day a restaurant gets five stars. Their eggs benedict is to die for. I refuse to order egg benedict anywhere else. Their poached eggs are cooked to perfection. I was so amazed when I cut into it that I could actually cut the English muffin on the bottom. No I did not need to reach for my knife. Their hollandaise was so creamy and rich. My mouth is literally salivating as I am writing this review. Service was good given there was only one person doing everything. Check in to get a free mimosa or latte!
