Our service will help control many crawling insects (Ants, Fleas, Spiders, Earwigs, Sow Bugs, Crickets, etc.), and help keep them out of the home or business. ANT CONTROL IS 100% GUARANTEED. The University of California at Riverside has proven that good pest control involves «reaching out» and spraying larger areas of landscaping of a home or business. (Ants, for example, forage up to 200 feet on both sides of a structure.) An ounce or two of pesticide (liquid or granules, baits or otherwise) around the perimeter will not do the job. Our Apartment complex in the heart of Walnut creek has been using Coulson Moseley for over forty years and have had nothing but positive experiences with them in all aspects of their service. They are as good as it gets, from performance to price they take care of us and I would recommend them to anyone I know.

We have been using Coulson-​Moseley for 2 ½ years now. We switched from another company because of lack of communication and they have been great! When we asked for extra help because of rats in our back yard the owner explained the techniques they use. We were concerned about our dogs so he told us he could not guarantee their safety even though he had never had a problem. When we told him we chose not to do it he was very gracious even though he was giving up an opportunity to make more money. Our experiences with him have always been very straight forward and the service has been great.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME — several reasons — 1 — when we first signed up, the owner (Jim) said the extra $ 100 + the service charge for the first application was because «there was a good chance the first spray would not quite do it and they would need to come out and spray again in a month» — well that happened and when they came out in a month, Jim said it would be a normal service and associated charge. 2 — I asked to go to a 3 times per year instead of 6 times because we simply didn’t have a problem in the winter. I received a phone call message later in the day saying «there was a balance due on your account» and hung up. 3 — when I called back 3 days later to make sure our account was in fact current, Jim said yea, and we were all good. When I brought up the lesser service, he said he was having issues with the county, I was lucky the ants were staying away and I should just continue with the 6 times per year as it was their minimum service plan. When I said that I had lived here 20 years and only have a problem a couple months during the Summer, he said: «when you signed on with us, you were signing up for a year minimum so you can do whatever you want after that» — when I said good luck with that, he said «when you left the message the other day for less visits per year, I went ahead and cancelled you then and have a nice day» and just hung up on me. On the other hand, the technician was very friendly and on time. Unfortunately, can’t say the same for the Big Boss and reading some of the other reviews, he enjoys hanging up on people! Boooooo —

I am a customer and was introduced to them by a long time customer. There service program price is reasonable. I haven’t seen any pest. Chemicals they use are safe for my dog which is a big plus. They treat outside home and not inside unless I request.
Also had them rat proof home. Didn’t have any problems more like preventative maintenance. My neighbor had a problem so I wanted to prevent one.
Gilbert the tech patched up every entrance point he thought might be an issue. Checked under all crawl spaces. Cleaned up attic to make sure we didn’t see any activity in future. I am satisfied.

I was shocked to see two bad reviews– We’ve used these guys for years and LOVE them. Years ago we had terrible ant problems at our house. At the time we used Orkin. The ants never went away. Orkin was awful. Our neighbor recommended Coulson-​Mosely. They came immediately and searched our house from top to bottom. They found a nest in the attic, and two in our crawl space. (Orkin never looked there.) Since then, we hardly ever have any issues. Once a year or so, usually when it starts raining, the ants spring up. These guys have us leave them alone and come usually on the same day to track them to their source and eliminate them. It’s fantastic. They are very nice guys and have always been really helpful and professional to me. I freely give them my highest recommendation (and my gratitude… I hate ants!).

Great job. We are sort of anti-​pesticide people but out of exasperation we had these guys spray for Black Widows that have been a problem for several years around our home and in the garage in Walnut Creek. The owner assured us the spray would be safe and non-​toxic to us. They were prompt at getting the job done and the technician was friendly and seemed quite knowledgeable. Our home and yard are small but still I thought $ 90 was pretty reasonable. (It made me wonder why I didn’t do this sooner, way better than hunting them down at night with a flash light and Black Flag spray.) After I had this work done two of my neighbors with similar problems said they were going to call the same company to have their homes done. Does everyone in Walnut Creek have Black Widows or just our little street? We didn’t have this problem in Orinda in a more rural setting.

I would never use them again. I don’t write many reviews but I felt the need to write this one. I called the owner and cancelled my service because I was moving. He assured me he wrote down my information. The next month they sprayed my house and sent me a bill. I called them and said I had cancelled and the owner proceeded to tell me I had never cancelled. He said, and I quote, «I don’t recall any conversation with you so it’s your word against mine… I have better things to do with my time then argue with you.» Basically he said since I didn’t fax the cancellation it doesn’t count. I rebutted by saying «Why wasn’t I told that when I called?» he said «if i had actually talked to you then i would have told you,» insinuating that i was a liar. I proceeded to say «I am disappointed that you would treat your customer this way over $ 75 dollars.» He didn’t care because he kept YELLING at me and then HUNG UP on me! I have never been treated so poorly by a business, and a local one at that. Long of the short– Never use them.
