I must say, I couldn’t have had a better experience with Christina and her photographer! They are so professional, and easy going! The environment is clean and very classy. What I loved the most was how much time Christina and her photographer spent taking every shot and making them look perfect! I sooo recommend Alias Josie to anymore wanting great pictures done!

This experience is a must! I went into it pretty nervous. I didn’t think I was in good enough shape etc. However… something happened with this shoot. I did it as a Valentine’s gift for my boyfriend. So basically it was all for him, but I actually ended up getting a lot out of it myself! Definite confidence booster whether you need one or not! There is such a calm ambiance in their studio. They have everything you could possibly need or want. Location is supreme. More than anything though, they just work magically together. Jake and Christina have such a great work ethic and respect for one another that they make our job in front of the camera so much easier! Their pricing is more than fair (I did my homework) I’m truly amazed at how flawless my photo’s turned out. This was truly one of the best things I’ve ever done, super grateful for these two making my experience above and beyond. I’ll be back!!!

I was super nervous about the idea of trying boudoir photography for the first time, but Christina was absolutely amazing to work with. She helped me feel comfortable, relaxed, and most important incredibly sexy! A must do for anyone who wants to celebrate their natural beauty, no matter who they are.

I came here the past weekend to take boudoir photos. I had such a great time. Christina was so friendly, she did my hair and make up. I spoke to her about some of my problem areas (my arms) and she made sure to pose me in a way that made them look more slim. The turn around time was really quick. I got everything in less than a week. I know some studios can take months so this was a huge plus. Over all, I am very happy with my experience. I think everyone should try this out if you haven’t take a boudoir shoot before.

This review is long overdue for amazing photographers and studio.
My wife and I came here to do a maternity photo shoot towards the end of her pregnancy. Neither my wife nor I had ever done a photo shoot (besides our wedding) so the thought of doing something so intimate had us both a little nervous. However, we were determined to capture such a beautiful moment in our lives and happily, this was a really fun experience.
What stood out most about Christina and Jake was how comfortable they made us feel with the whole process. They were incredibly easy going when talking to them, but gave efficient and thoughtful instruction when it came to capturing the right shot. We had a couple of ideas in mind about photos we wanted, but Christina also had a number of ideas which she offered to share. We are so glad she did. They do a lot of Boudoir style photography — which turned out to really make the maternity shots feel much more intimate, whimsical and beautiful. As a team, Christina and Jake work very well together to get just the right lighting for the shots we wanted, however, the shots that they suggested ended up being some of our favorites. They really have a vision for what will have a great result on camera and the creativity to back it up.
The studio space itself has endless possibilities. It is tucked away behind a shopping center in downtown Walnut Creek, with a 2^nd story patio that overlooks a creek and is decked out with furniture to create a few different backdrops and views. Inside, the space was huge, some very calming yet upbeat music playing and a variety of spaces to take different shots. Since the day was really all about my wife, there was a bit of downtime for myself — so I was accommodated by a comfy couch and got to enjoy the show most of the time.
We could not recommend this place any more highly, and will plan to be back for a post-​baby bump boudoir shoot as soon as we can.

Christina and Jake are as good as it gets. Not only are they highly talented and professional, but are also incredible at making you feel comfortable and relaxed in the studio. Christina is a doll (beautiful and always put together) and super down to earth, so chatting/​girl gossip time is always fun beforehand. She does make up and helps with your outfits/​accessories (also champagne is a plus!), and then Jake is the one behind the camera making the magic happen. Never once did I feel insecure or shy about posing because they are so highly professional and really know what they are doing. Christina is a great coach when it comes to directing your poses to best optimize your body type in the final photos. Jake is a master behind the lenses and ensures to get the lighting/​angle just right so that you have a huge selection of photos to choose from. It is apparent that they really enjoy working together so there is not weird tension between the two as I have experienced at other studios. Their actual studio itself is beautiful and clean (great location in Walnut Creek), and the props they have to work with (huge windows with white drapes, elegant bed, barnyard outside) really add to the ambiance. Not only did I feel great doing the shoot, but I also had FUN which is the most important part! I was really pleased with the way the photos turned out (I did a boudoir theme) and will definitely come back when I need more!!! I couldn’t even pick which ones were my favorite because there were so many great options.
