Pedicure & Spa

I got a mani and pedi one Sunday afternoon and it was ok… I’ve never been to a salon that takes off the name of the OPI colors off the bottle. Good pedi but they did half my mani while I was getting my pedi so I couldn’t relax… I never got a arm or hand massage… Disappointing

I have been coming to Pedi and Spa for at least 5 years now and will not go anywhere else. I’ve gotten infections/​fungus from other places and have always had nothing but cleanliness and great experiences here. The owner, Daniel, does a great job of telling you realistically whether or not he can fit you in (I’ve witnessed him turn customers away instead of lying that they would only wait 5 minutes for an hour wait, like most places do.) As a loyal customer, he treats me like a loyal customer by throwing on a quick hand massage at the end of a fill (not usually part of a fill) and even giving me a Christmas gift. They do a great massage with the pedicure and if you have ingrown toenails, they do a great job of getting them out while not hurting you. I’ve had regular manicures, pedicures, acrylics and gel all done here and have never had any complaints. One of my friends had her entire wedding party go here for her wedding and they gave us very special treatment. I can’t say much of anything for the other technicians who work there because I only go to Daniel, but I would HIGHLY recommend him and Pedicure and Spa if you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean and nice environment/​experience.

Have been going here for years, see Daniel or Sarah, they are the best! I have great luck here and my mani & pedi’s last forever! I get a month out of them with just a touch up to my nails (bring my own polish). You can’t beat there pricing, plenty of parking, comfortable chairs. PS I couldn’t get in one Saturday and went to a high end salon down town… never again, next time I will wait… polish was peeling in 3 days… THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!

This place is just ok. I’ve had better. They were late 15 minutes for my appointment and a guy started my pedicure but a woman finished it. I paid extra for the ‘deluxe spa pedicure’ and my sister did as well. Hers included about 15 minites of massage and mine did not. Not really sure what I paid extra for… This is the 3^rd or 4^th time I’ve given them a try and I’ve never had a ‘good’ experience.

Hands down worst manicure I’ve ever gotten — and this was a disappointment, considering I’ve been there for a pedicure before and it was the BEST I’d ever gotten.
I’m not exaggerating when I say the technician put my nails in acetone (to soften the gel), put a towel over it, and took off for 20 minutes. Eventually, after I made a joke about my fingers turning prune-​y, someone ELSE came over and scraped the polish off and prepped for my manicure. Eventually, the woman from before came back, and filed my nails unevenly. She then — I am not kidding — spent a HALF HOUR painting and repainting my nails. Applying a coat, examining what she had done, then removing part of what she painted. Repainting. Taking the polish off. It was maddening. By the end, I expected to see perfectly manicured nails, as I had sat there for 45 minutes while she looked closely and «perfected» the paint job… but when I got outside and looked in the light, she hadn’t even painted all the way to my cuticle. It looked like there was only one coat on — perfectly see-​through — and it absolutely does not look like a gel manicure.
Additionally, on my way out, I heard a woman saying that SHE would not be back because the woman didn’t provide her with flip flops and had her walk across the floor barefoot.
Disappointing. Will not be back.

Ok, my brow waxing today was randomly $ 10, but it was still great!

This is a 3-​star spa, i but a 4 star review because of the prices.
They have a special 30 dollar mani/​pedi on Mon, Tues, Weds. I’ve been seeing the sign for a few weeks and keep feeling tempted, so I finally decided to do it tonight. I came in around 4 and was taken immediately. The pedi chairs are decent and they have a good selection of trashy magazines to flip through. The foot/​ankle massage was excellent but could have been longer (for the money though, a really good value).
The girl did a nice job on my toes and I’m guessing she was new, because a guy came by to check her work every so often and was I think giving her some feedback (though I can’t be sure as it wasn’t in English).
The only thing I didn’t love was that they did the mani on one side of the pedi chair so I kept having to kind of awkwardly put my arm across my body on to the opposite arm rest. Certainly not a big deal — just not ideal… but again, for 30 bucks, I’m not complaining.
The spa itself is clean, brightly lit, and plays lovely Asian relaxy music — which is SO much nicer than the TV or soft rock that similar nail salons tend to have on. They would benefit from some slightly higher end décor and lighting — especially with the nice music, it would really ramp up the atmosphere of the place.
Overall, if you want a low-​frills mani/​pedi for a really guilt-​free price, this is the place.
