This was my first time zip lining & I couldn’t ask for a better experience. My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guides AJ, John & Rizo were AWESOME & made it so fun! #winning

What a class act! I honestly wish I could give this place more stars. Maui Zipline Co. went above and beyond to make sure our family had the absolute BEST time on our zipline tour. The location is stunning! You get to see the ocean, the mountains, flora, fauna and you learn all sorts of interesting facts about the island from the native born staff. Our group ranged in age from 6 years to 44 years and we all had a blast zipping down the 5 different lines. My 6-​year old was a little scared and almost didn’t go through with it, but our crew (Mike, Jacob and Keoki) went out of their way to make sure she felt safe — especially Keoki who ended up tandem riding with her so she felt secure (he ended up coming in on his day off due to another crew member being sick so he’s an extra-​big rockstar in our eyes). My girl ended up being a little renegade zip-​liner by the end of our experience! We were so impressed with all the little details of the experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Such a great family outing. Worth every penny!

This is a great beginner zipline. Our guides Brenne Jahfrey and Mike were well trained and very safe. I’ve done more experienced ziplines, but this one only requires you to be able to walk up stair and this worked great for our grandma of 73 to join the family experience. Also, it is located at the very civilized Maui Tropical Plantation. So it offers paved parking lot, real bathrooms and restaurants. If you have family members who can’t go (too young or pregnant), they can relax and watch you in comfort. The only suggestion for Maui Zipline is to build a small 10 feet high platform to get young riders comfortable on their first run and learn to trust the equipment and the guides. Mahalo!

Went zip lining with my daughter for the first time and i was extremely happy with the Brenna, John, and Jesse. They were very fun, supportive to my daughter, and were just extremely professional. I highly recommend this place for first timers.

I would recommend this zip line company for beginners or younger kids. I have done 2 or 3 other zip line companies that had much higher and longer lines so if that’s what your looking for this probably isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for something a little less scary then this is a great place to start. Our group consisted of 3 teenagers, 2 seniors (62 and 65), myself (34) and a 7 year old. The employees were all very nice and friendly. Our youngest was too scared to go on the first line but everyone was very patient with him. Thumbs up to Chaz, Aj, Jesse and Rizzo.

Great fun and great family activity! We were a family representing 3 generations, ranging from 6 to 70 yrs old. It was something we all could do and everyone loved it. Can’t wait to come back again! Our guides, Chaz, AJ, Jahfrey and Kainoa were the bomb! Thanks for the great memories and experience!

ALL THESE 5 STARS ARE RIGHT! THESE GUYS ARE SUPER FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND LAUGH ALONG WITH YOU. We had a girl get caught at the end when she sort of rolled back out there and they zipped hand over hand out to her (she was awesome taking shots of the gulch as she sat there!) and got her no problem. Everyone smiles and laughs and wow! MY face HURT FROM SMILING!! SCREAMING AND LAUGHING. We were 12 strong and had two groups and had a BLAST! GO!!!

First off, I’d like to say that Kainoa, Chaz, Jahfrey, and AJ are the best guides ever! In addition to putting people at ease they made this experience fun! Maui Zipline is very family friendly and great for first time «zippers» (if that’s even a thing). I brought a friend who was afraid of heights and not too thrilled that I was dragging her with me. But by the 2^nd line she was zipping hands free and backwards! I highly recommend this place for first timers and anyone with kids!

Incredible experience for the whole family. AJ, James and Kona were all great. This was our first time in doing zip line and I’ll do it again! Great job to all!

Loved the whole experience! Sam, Koa and Chaz were fun and helpful. My husband was very nervous, but they continued to be calm and he ended loving the entire experience. Very glad it was a simple set-​up and didn’t last all day. Highly recommend Maui Zipline! And thanks to Keoki for the encouragement for my husband!

Keoki, Dan-​O, Chaz were top notch! Not only entertaining but super safe while dropping big time knowledge bombs! They took excellent care of me and my family. Highly recommend.

This experience was amazing! Our kids had a blast. Even our 5 year old son, who barely made weight, loved it. Our guides Brenna, Sam, and Keoki, made it so fun and made the kids feel safe. Our 9-​year old daughter Makena was doing tricks by the 2^nd line. Highly recommend, especially for anyone looking to introduce their kids to zip lining!

AWESOME family experience!
Phil, Brenna and AJ made the tour a blast for my family of five. The plantation is beautiful scenery at the base of the mountain and is a great change from hanging out at the beach. The safety precautions here are great and make the ride very enjoyable and worry free.
I would suggest finding more to do afterwards or bring some beach clothes to change into and hit up some new spots.

And the way to go is Maui Zipline Company providing professional customer service at great start up prices for the novice and beginner buggers ready for their first thrill ride outside the E.K. Fernandez carnival merry-​go-​rounds.
I chose MZC bc their prices fit the budget for all those involved and were not far from other events we had planned for the day. I purchased tickets using the Unilocal discount with no problem at the desk. And, I got an additional Kamaaina discount. Shhh… locals only.
There was an intro briefing letting us know what to expect, what the risk are comforting us that there really was minimal risk. Then they ask you to sign the disclaimer obliterating their responsibilty in case you die. My partners in crime were a bit hesitant. I let them know that I’ve signed a zillion of these things for so many different adventures that they shouldn’t worry. I remind them their life insurance is in full effect and I am the sole beneficiary.
After the harnessing up we head out to the first tower. The wind is blowing hard and the tower is rocking. I am now more afraid of the tower falling than dropping from the zipline thousands of feet down. What the heck, yola, right?
M and J, the sisters, are the very first ones to go. My heart is pounding as they take off and make it safely. Did I tell you I have a fear of heights? So does G but he has never admitted it. My heart beats faster as I watch the rest of the group go. Now, it’s me and G, and we’re the last ones. You’re fighting your brain that’s telling you this is very unnatural to do, we are not meant to fly like this. I look over at G and I know he’s very scared never done anything like this before. The guides are being patient with us but are telling us it’s okay to go and we should go now but go when you are ready. I tell G to go and he does. I go a split second after him. We’re screaming our heads off but are so elated when we reach the platform rejoining with M and J.
That was the 1^st of 5 jumps. It was a fantastic family outing to build confidence and to show there are more exciting things to do outside than to play games on your tablet, laptop or whatever.
Definitely will do this again.

Keoki, Jesse and Mana were our guides… and they were great! Funny, friendly, and informative. Not to mention super safe… What more can you ask for. Great time on my first zip lining experience!
Even though I don’t know the name of the nice ladies at the front desk… They were really nice and full of energy!

Chevis, Jesse and Kenekoa were great zip guides. Funny and entertaining. They actually make you feel engaged and do make the experience worth it. :) b
