Flyin Hawaiian Zipline

I’ve always wanted to experience ziplining, and when I came to visit Maui, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I asked around the area what the best ziplining was and was referred to Flyin Hawaiin Zipline. I was told that it was the more adventurous zipline and boy were they right! First of all, it is located in the Maui Tropical Plantation, which itself is a nice place to visit. And the employees there are so awesome! You can tell that they enjoy what they do, and they’re really easy to talk to. I elected to go to the 1pm tour since it fit my schedule the best. The tour guides were very accommodating and were so much fun to be with. There are 7 ziplines and takes you across the mountain range. There is some hiking involved, but not too strenuous. Also, the ATV rides are fun as well! The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that part of the fee goes to pay of the land that we’re ziplining on, just so that they can protect it. It feels really great that my money is being put to good use! Overall, this is a great experience. I highly recommend it if you ever come to Maui. And I’m pretty sure that I will be doing it again!

Great day! Loved our guides. Gundy, Caleb, Bryson and Coop. Not scary at all. Just fun. Wear sunscreen because you’re in the sun a lot. A little bit of hiking required. If out of shape, it’s a little hard. But only one mile in total.

Flyin Hawaiian Zipline offers a premium experience with their zipline on Maui. Seven lines of varying lengths extend over the valleys of the western mountainside providing an amazing vista across the valley from north to south shores. Our guides today were Gundy, Briceson, and Koa, all very personable, encouraging, and helpful. Their expert service ensured a safe and fun experience for everyone in our group. I’ve zipped before and found this course to be full of adventure with the heights and lengths of the lines as well as the speed attained on the runs. Executing the final ²⁄₃ mile run at speeds to 50 MPH was a real rush.
I was also impressed with the business model of Flyin Hawaiian, protecting the countryside for future generations. Job well done.

Amazing. If you love nature and exercise– this is for you! Gorgeous views you won’t get anywhere else in Maui along with an unparalleled experience. Highly recommended. I’ve never been zip lining. First time. And it was UNREAL. Don’t forget to tip your waitress.

My family and I had an awesome time ziplining with Dwayne, Joey, and Gundy! I’ve been ziplining before, but it was the first time for the others in my group. We chose this company because it was touted as having the highest, fastest, and longest ziplines. At the kiosk check-​in, we were greeted by Dwayne and Gundy. We arrived a little later than expected, but they were totally cool about it. No big deal. Signed our waivers, given our helmets and fitted in our harnesses.
A van ride up the hill took us up to the training line where we received our trolleys (the device that connects you to the line and allows you to zip) and learned the different signals because it’s all about safety. From the training line, we took an ATV to our first line. There were a total of seven lines. The views were amazing and zipping was so much fun!
One of the members in our group can’t go on roller coaster rides because she gets sick. Being able to zip was a sweet way for her to get an adrenaline rush. As she described it, «This is f*cking awesome!» Each staff member was extremely friendly and they took the time to learn our names and really wanted to make our experience a great one. They joked around with us and made everyone comfortable. They encouraged us to pick their brains about what to do in Maui and were open to all questions. For anyone unable to carry their trolleys, they offered to carry them. Some uphill hiking was involved from one platform to the next, but it wasn’t too bad. Loved that the proceeds go to conserving the natural habitat. All in all, it was great fun and worth the costs!

We’ve been coming to Maui ever since we were kids and this was by far the best excursion we’ve ever been on. Caleb, Koops and Koa (sorry if I didn’t spell those right) were genuinely perfect from start to finish. They made everyone in the entire group feel super comfortable. They’re just awesome, respectful guys that you’ll want to hang out with. The owner Dwayne is truly doing an incredible thing with this company and I respect him deeply for it. I couldn’t recommend a Hawaiian excursion anymore than this. We’ll definitely be back again.

Our zipline excursion was a gift and probably not something I would have opted to pay for myself. That being said, it is totally worth the money! The views were breathtaking and the staff helped make it one of the most memorable things we did on Maui. Kila, Koa, Caleb & Alec were awesome guides with their knowledge, camaraderie and humor. If you are planning to zipline, book Flyin’ Hawaiian, the tallest, fastest and longest zipline in Hawaii!

Gundy, Ty, Koa and Xavier were our guides for this tour. Kudos to them all for making us feel safe. What an adventure! The views were amazing! The lines were spectacular! The ATV ride up and down the mountain was a thrill in itself. Highly recommend if you are in Maui!
Just a note to the management. Get a bigger sign. Unless you are coming straight from the parking lot, you only see Maui Zip Line’s kiosk. Seriously, we had to call you guys to find out where you were! Two others in our group had the same problem finding you. We also met two guys at the sugar mill restaurant after our tour and they only saw Maui Zip line’s sign. They were surprised that you guys existed!

We had an incredible time flying with these guys. All staff were great! Joey, Kila, @ Coops were very professional & informative while keeping us all safe & the mood light. The views were lovely, and the property was beautiful. Top notch operation from start to finish. We were very impressed that this company is also helping preserve the land on the beautiful island of Maui.

My husband and I decided to try something a little more adventurous during our honeymoon to Maui, so we reviewed recommendations for zip lining. This place was recommended to us by several books, as well as a friend that went with another company during her trip and suggested Flyin Hawaiian instead.
Hands down, this was the best experience we had during our time in Maui! Our guides (X, Kila, and Ty) were amazing! They kept everyone entertained, explained everything in detail, and joked around with everyone throughout the tour. I was so afraid of zip lining before this tour and these three gentlemen helped stave off that fear.
This course has 7 zip lines (8 with the initial trainer zip), all of which include short (but sometimes steep) trails. The guides were honest and helpful, offering to carry our trolleys for us if needed and encouraging us to take our times. They pointed out ideal photo opportunities and even took photos for us. We also contributed to watering the state flower of Hawaii, listening as the guides explain the history and preservation of this plant. The last line (3800 feet) was amazing and the most freeing and exciting zip of the day. It is no wonder that these guys have such high ratings!
We will certainly return to this zip line during our next Maui trip! The price may seem steep at first, but it is amazing and worth every single penny!

If you are on Maui you HAVE to go here for ziplining! Alex, Ty and X were some of the most in guys I have met while on vacation. They were very informative and helpful if we had questions and were funny as all get out! Between the nicknames we got and the beautiful views from the lines, this is definitely an activity worth doing more than once.
The practice line is short but really helpful when figuring out how the harness feels and how to sit and stop in the harness. Nothing prepares you for the rush of the wind in your face and the stunning views. Be scared at first and then just scream it out on the first line (which is half a mile btw!!) all the other lines will be blissful and inspiring.

This was the BEST! 4 & ½ miles, 7 lines of zipping! Through beautiful scenery, amazing guides… would do it again in a heart beat! I can see why this was the best rated one… deserves 20 stars Brice/​Alec/​Xavier, best guides EVER!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. These guys take this already amazing zip line to another level with their energy and hospitality. The zip line course is absolutely incredible with views of the ocean on every course including an atv ride. They even offer you snacks and unlimited water during the trip.
Tai, Bryson, and Alek really made the experience fun and more importantly unforgettable. Best zip line in Maui/​the country!

When in Maui this is a MUST DO! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. The zips are amazing and the views are nothing short of spectacular. The guys at Flyin Hawaiian made the adventure one to remember. They were very informative and helpful… not to mention funny as heck. From beginning to end the guys were a blast! Patrick welcomed us when we got there and got us all checked in and situated before the crew arrived. Our crew for the day was Gundy, Joey and Caleb. These guys are awesome. The zips are fast and exhilarating. The grand finale was the final zip that measures ²⁄₃ of a mile long and reaching speeds faster than «oh cr@p» mph. After finishing the zips Coops (another crew member) showed up and gave us an E ticket down the mountain on a 6 seater ATV. What a day!!!

Awesome place!!! Worlds longest zip line and GREAT tour guides. They are very knowledgable and funny. Awesome
views and only some hiking. And an ATV ride that’s a blast. Worth every penny. Bring your GoPro and be prepared for some amazing views.

This was the highlight activity of our honeymoon. This place is worth the trip across the island and the money you spend to do it! Our group consisted of individual that ran from age 20 – 65 and everyone had fun. I get super anxious when it comes to heights but the instructors make you feel comfortable. You can really trust them. I also liked how this zip-​line has a seat harness instead of just a line. You feel more secure as you glide through the mountain. The business also runs on a great idea to preserve the island. I will definitely book another visit if I ever find myself in Maui again.

Fantastic group of guys and company. Gundy, Koops, Dustin, and Thomas were great and we chose them because they really focus on the environment and trying to be low impact and also give back to their surroundings. From beginning to end, the folks at Flying Hawaiian Zipline took care of us. If you have a GoPro, be sure to bring it. The staff are super helpful and they also record for you if you ask. Safety is very important for my wife and she was 100% confident in this company. Each of the staff have their own style and flare and you will have fun with each of them.
The ride up and down the mountain on the ATV was one of my fondest memories. The day that we went, it was wet and muddy, which made for an awesome ATV experience. We had Gundy drive us up the mountain, Pat drove us down and Nick, Caleb, and Bryson took care of us during the ziplining. I guess Bryson was a cutie because my wife and her friend couldnt stop talking about him. I ain’t mad though, just giving the fellas a heads up…“Hide yo girl, hide yo wife!” haha all jokes set aside, Bryson was a cutie doh…
On to the ziplining, the ziplining was amazing. The view was gorgeous and each line varied in distance and speed. Can’t tell you too much about it because you need to experience it for yourself. It is worth it if you have never been before.
