This stores customer service is the worst I have ever had. Drove over an hour for a lamp I called and confirmed they had in stock and would hold for me only to find out after getting there that it was broken. The cashier didn’t even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. Once I got home I wrote to the company and again no one seemed like they cared. I have always been a fan of Hobby Lobby but this has really turned me off I will shop at Homegoods or Michaels from now on.

Nice store, great selection, and wonderful products to choose from. TERRIBLE service from employees! I ended up interacting with four employees total and they were ALL very rude and hateful! And I’m pretty sure the cashier was on drugs. I don’t know what’s wrong with morale there, but management needs to do something. I will be writing the company to complain.

ERMAHGERD, Hobby Lobby! This is my new happy place.(Shhh, don’t worry TJ Maxx/Homegoods I still love you.) I made a failed attempt to visit on a Sunday. *FYI: they are closed on Sundays. When I did finally make it I was over whelmed with a plethora of amazing finds. This store has everything with great style. Interior Designer approved. Here is a small list: cute signs galore, windchimes, baskets, picture frames, fabric, art supplies, etc… They display items by themes and colors so that it is easy to coordinate. I feel that it a definite upgrade from Michaels. Oh and they have 40% coupons online + most of the store is 50% right now. Need I say more? I plan on returning today to pick up a gun toliet paper holder for my dad for Christams. Can’t wait to see his reaction!

Okay, okay, you got me! I lowkey love this place! But for personal reasons… Like all the random lighting crap they have? Oh and vintage but not really vintage decors! Man! This place is the spot for all things JUNK. Because lets be honest, did you really need that old school superhero metal signage? Probably not. But in either case, this place is HUGE! Packed with all things crafty. And if you know me at all, I’m all about DIY stuff. I don’t even remember looking at everything because there was just so much stuff to look at. Make sure you check their website for coupons because just like their competitor AC Moore, they do give that 40% off a single item all the time. Plus they usually have some of their more ridiculously priced items on sale!

This place is like a really nice, clean Michaels mixed with an At Home store. The prices seemed high to me, but maybe their prices are high to pay the employees to keep everything so clean and organized. I wish I knew how to sew because they have SOMANY great fabric choices and prints. They also have TONS of fake flowers. Rows and rows of flowers. I really like all the home accent pieces and art they sell. I could definitely get lost looking at everything they have to offer. Overall, a very nice store and good location(old Ames/Hills/vacant building for years).

Big time lover of Hobby Lobby. It’s a huge store with just about anything you would need for you’re crafts, hobbies, or projects. They have a convenient app, that normally has a coupon(40% off regular priced item). When I was there on a Wednesday afternoon there seemed to be plenty of staff throughout the store, everyone was very nice and asked if I needed any help. What I like about Hobby Lobby versus AC Moore or Michaels is that I feel like I’m getting a deal. With the easy to get coupon and reasonable sales throughout the store I think there’s something for everybody.

I remember Hobby Lobby stores down south many years ago, and glad to see one open up in the area. Hobby Lobby is essentially a small furnishings and home accents store(like Homegoods), and also a Hobby/Craft store(Like Michaels /AC Moore), all rolled into one. This store is brand new, built in 2014, so it is very clean and modern. Lots of great items in here to look at. Friendly staff, easy access off of Virginia Beach Blvd.

I’ll just start by saying, I LOVEHOBBYLOBBY! I am still partial to and prefer the one in Short Pump/Richmond though(probably because it took my Hobby Lobby virginity, haha.) This one is great too — it has everything — definitely something for everyone! Home and holiday décor, scrapbook & paper goods section, wooden section, ceramics, paints/canvases, jewelry section, & even wedding goods! My only two complaints are: that I wish parking was better.(I guess because of how busy this place and shopping center is, it is to be expected — hard time finding parking.) I suggest you don’t come on a Saturday. Oh but they are closed every Sunday! In my opinion, the best times to come here are during the weekdays in the day time, or a bit later in the evening. I also wish that they would upgrade their check out system! The Richmond one has a scanning system which makes for way faster and more efficient check-out, & it automatically has things scanned at sale price(if on sale that week.) Here, at this one, the cashiers have to type in the price of each item you purchase, and manually apply the sale price/percentage off. Cumbersome & time consuming. I do suggest that if you know you’ll be a «regular» at HL, that you download the app — you’ll always know what’s on sale for the week, and there’s an eternal«40% off one regular priced item» coupon. As I said about the Short Pump one, Hobby Lobby is like AC Moore, Michael’s, Joanne’s, Homegoods, & Kirklands had an orgy, got pregnant, and their BIG baby is this place.(Graphic description, but you get the point I’m trying to make, right!) :) Basically, any crafter’s, designer’s, &DIY’ers dream!

Went here for the first time the other day. I have always been a fan of Michaels but this ace was amazing! Huge selection of everything you could imagine. The staff was very pleasant, the store was well organized, and the product was neat and organized. The prices were also reasonable. I will be back for sure!!!

Pretty much if you want it. They got it. Hobby Lobby babe, I’ve MISSEDYOU! Believe it or not they have had one in Danville VA since 2006⁄7! Why did it take so long to come here. They always have things on sale and if your item isn’t, then use the online 40percent off one item coupon on their website. Not open on Sunday! EVER! :)

Love this store. I went this morning a little after it opened and the employees were working hard to keep it clean, and it is really paying off because the store looks great and nicely organized. The customer service was great, all the employees were so nice and were opened to help. Every time I go into this store I know it’s going to be a great experience.

I love hobby lobby stores. They always have great sales that make the product worth buying. The have a app with coupons so if something is not on sale you can use a coupon. This place has it all from party supplies, crafts, picture frames, home décor, fabric & kitchen stuff. I could spend hours in here looking at everything. The only thing I don’t love about this particular store is that the aisle are very narrow two shopping carts can’t fit beside each other. A women in a wheel chair had to back out of the aisle cause she could fit with other people.
