Pacific Pointe Apartments

My sister moved into this complex in November. She found out in December she had stage 4 lung cancer at the age of 43. Her daughter stayed to help nurse her. My sister died on January 1^st. When my niece went to pay January’s rent, Laurie, in the office, told her she had to be out of the apartment in less than 10 days because my sister’s name was on the lease. When my niece went back to plead with Laurie the next day, she told my niece she had few days to get out. I couldn’t believe someone could be so cold blooded. I know business is business, but come on!

Broke my short-​term lease just to get out of here quicker. Do not move here if you dislike neighbors blaring music (multiple neighbors, multiple buildings, multiple incidents – not just average apartment noise), people loitering in the parking lot, frequent police car visits, loud car engines non-​stop on 45^th St, shouting arguments inside and outside others’ apartments, and the list goes on. Was lucky (?) enough to be working from home the day my neighbor’s apartment door got beaten in by someone belligerently attacking it from outside. Just when I was ready to blame it on a random incident, another fight outside my window the next week with a different tenant again resulted in the police being called.
If you take yourself, your home, and your safety seriously and can afford anywhere else, do yourself a favor and live elsewhere.
