My name is Brian. I am a Marine serving in North Carolina but I have a rental in Vancouver. Most reviews I leave or letters I write regarding businesses are based on negative experiences. This review is different. I don’t care if it is a law firm, mechanic shop, real estate firm or plumbing company, we all know that the main goal of a business is to make money; however, nothing earns my loyalty like evidence that the person I hire puts their customer’s best interests over their own profit margins. Terese at Clog Pro did this for me when she saved me over $ 5,000 this year. This was a huge expense that did not fall under insurance and I had to pay for out of pocket. I had already made payment to Clog Pro when I received a surprise phone call by Terese, telling me that I am having my money refunded due to Clog Pro negotiating with the city on my behalf. The city fixed the problem free of charge. Clog Pro could have charged me, completed the job, and made some money. Instead, they looked out for me at their own expense. That says so much!!! Some businesses make their money by price gouging one-​time customers in volume. Other businesses make their money by taking great care of their clients and building a business off of a well-​earned reputation and attracting customers that are intelligent enough to seek out this value. It is clear to me what kind of company Clog Pro is from this experience. Hopefully I won’t have any plumbing problems soon, but when I do, I will know who to call. Thanks again Terese!

We unexpectedly needed to replace our entire sewer line in order to close on our house. I called nearly every plumbing/​excavation service in town and was immediately impressed with Clog Pro’s responsiveness, knowledge and professional manner. The project needed to be finished within a tight timeline and they worked efficiently and were able to get in done correctly within our timeframe. From the customer service to the crew, we were very impressed throughout the entire process.

My parents drain had backed up in the laundry room and kitchen. After several attempts to get a plumber out my neighbor suggested calling Clog Pro. Best decision ever. They were able to make it out same day and Louis was fast, efficient and knowledgeable and he even went the extra mile and wiped down the inside of the cabinet and put the laundry sink back in. I highly recommend this company. You have my business and being a Realtor I get asked a lot for referrals. :)

I’ve been using Clog-​pro for years, and they’ve always done a good job. Our bathroom sink was clogged and leaking. We managed to stop the leak, but not the clog. Called for help and Louis Griffith came to our rescue. I didn’t recognize him and we got off to a bad start when he tracked in mud onto my carpet. He said he didn’t have booties but will sometimes put plastic bags over his shoes if the carpet is white. My carpet is brown. I told him it shouldn’t matter the color of the carpet. Louis was very apologetic and got a rag to help us clean up the mud. Moving on to the bathroom, he noticed we had put a washer in backwards and pleasantly showed the right way to do it plus gave advice on using plumbers tape. It only took him about 5 minutes to clear the line.
Overall, nice experience with just that one small hiccup about tracking in dirt. I’m a happy camper.

You know what sucks? A main sewer clog that renders all your toilets, sinks, showers, and washing machines unusable.
You know what doesn’t suck? Really awesome service that restores your plumbing and your sanity!
We had Clog Pro out last weekend after a geyser of grossness started bubbling out of the basement drain (garbage disposal waste, brown muck, and other liquids that reeked with the fury of a thousand gym socks). It turned out to be a backup of the main sewer line. The Google Machine led me to Clog Pro, the Unilocal reviews looked promising, and they were able to come out in a matter of hours (opposed to days, for some of the other plumbers I tried calling) — deal sealed.
Chris showed up right at the expected time and was super professional and helpful. Unfortunately, after surveying the problem and our place of residence, it turned out accessing the main sewer line would be impossible with the particular machine he had on hand (too big to fit through the tight corners of our basement labyrinth). The only alternative would be to remove an upstairs toilet and wind the snake down through there — adding about $ 150 to the estimate I’d been given on the phone; more than we could currently afford.
After explaining our precarious financial situation to Chris, he very generously offered to track down a smaller machine and come back the next morning (which was supposed to be his day off!) so that we could still get the original price. Awesome! He showed up the next day as planned, snaked away the offending clog, and spent some time walking me through plumbing maintenance tips to help prevent the problem from happening again. Everything is working beautifully now.
Major props to Chris for not only respecting our financial situation and fighting for an affordable price, but also sacrificing his day off (I know that sucks), working efficiently, being extremely professional and helpful, and making the never-​fun plumbing disaster much less painful.
Reader’s Digest version: service was awesome, price was reasonable, and I no longer have to pee outside in my backyard. These things please me greatly. Five stars.

It wasn’t fun to discover we had a sewage leak AND two gray water leaks, but glad it is all taken care.
Appreciated Chris sharing the before and after images so I didn’t have to crawl under there, but had some sense of what we were paying for. Can rest easier now that what is happening under the house is not such a mystery.
Appreciated that he changed some of the angles of the previous pipe to help future flow. Clog pro also referred us to a clean up company, and the two worked well together to take care of a stressful situation.
Wish there was a financing option, or that our insurance would have covered.

We just had Clog Pro put in a new water main line from the meter to the house and we were very pleased with the results.
Woke up one morning to water bubbling up from under the sidewalk. Dug down and found out that the pipes that run from the meter into the house were falling apart due to age (old galvanized steal piping that was crumbling). I’ve had Clog Pro come for something routine a few months ago and they did good work then (fair price, good work, showed up quickly) so I called them in again. They were able to have a plumber come out that day and confirm what I had suspected and later that day the owner, Marsh came to do the bid himself. His quote was about what I had expected, but just to be sure I got a second bid. Clog Pro was 5% cheaper and I know they do quality work so I gave them the job.
They had my temporary line up and running within 24 hours of signing the contract with them. We had to wait a week to have them put in the permanent line, which was about how long the company told me it would be too. They communicated clearly about this so I knew what to expect.
Clog Pro used state of the art methods to bore the new line underground without tearing up my entire yard. The line/​materials are guaranteed for 50 years. They only needed to dig a small hole where it enters the house and near the water meter. It was a lot less destructive to my lawn and front than I had thought and they cleaned everything up nicely. Soon you won’t even be able to tell any work was done.
Since it is an older home with some unique plumbing and construction challenges (pipes go into a finished basement through a wall in a very tight corner) I was a little nervous they would not be able to run the new line near where the old line was. They were able to handle the job nicely, it looks great, works great, and the final price was exactly as quoted. Every time they came to do work they were on time, communicated what they were doing clearly, and were polite. It’s clear to me that they have a good work ethic and care about good customer service at Clog Pro. They’ll be my Go-​To plumber from now on.

I’ve used Clog Pro twice to clean out a drain pipe under the basement floor. The third time they came out we realized the pipe had reached the end of it’s life (100 year old bungalow). I’d been happy with Clog Pro’s drain cleaning so I just jumped and made an appointment to them to replace the pipe. I was worried for a couple of reasons, these old houses can be spiders nests of problems once you start digging. They were going to have to tie into a VERY old stack, there was a basement toilet connected to the broken pipe «somewhere», the run of pipe went under the basement stair wall and I have an Autistic teenager that was going to be very interested in what was going on. Man, these guys were worth every penny. They were unbelievably clean, they tented the area in plastic to enclose trench, were precise and clean (small piles of dirt on tarps), piled the old concrete neatly on a tarp in the driveway and broom swept the entire area at the end of each day. When they realized we were looking at a weekend without a kitchen drain (project ran an extra day long) they scrambled to tie in a temporary fix so we could use our kitchen. At the end of the project the city inspector said the work looked good but he wanted a backwater valve installed on a random kitchen drain pipe before he would issue the permit. Marsh (the owner) personally came and not only installed the backwater valve but redid the entire vertical wall of drain pipe (kitchen drain, basement sink drain, remounted washer hose box and secured vertical drain pipe). None of this work was on the original bid and he didn’t charge me for it. The office staff is great, they call you each morning to let you know when the guys are headed over and at the end of the day if there were any unexpected problems. Seriously guys, if you want the cheapest bid and a train wreck of a job hire another company but if you want a clean, quality, professional job? Hire these guys.

I telephone Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday. I was told between 2 – 4 PM. I called at 4PM and was told the person was still in Portland and would be here as soon as he made it into Vancouver. I know what traffic is like at 4PM, it would have probably been at least another hour. I had to telephone to ask, no one called me. I canceled what would have been a very late visit.

Are you kidding??? Chris B. came to my house at 8:45 at night because I had a crazy busy day but I also had a clog. Wow, Wow, Wow. Polite, kind, appreciative of my $ 20 tip. Amazing that the clog in my tub and bathroom sink are gone and I have been putting up with a slow drain for a year… dang it, I wish I would have called sooner. I shouldn’t have waited until it totally stopped. I highly recommend!

I had just moved into a new house and the drain pipe for my washing machine was clogged. Chris B came out and had it unclogged and working in no time. He explained everything he was doing and what the problem was. I’d definitely recommend giving these guys a call.

And to add another facet to their incompetence… the plumber put all the new pluming off center. He did the lazy thing and just kept everything in the same position as the smaller shower… except the shower is now bigger. The stone work I wanted to do up the center of the wall is now impossible. Thanks for your laziness. I guess I expected to much for over $ 150 an hour. Think twice before calling these people

Highly recommend clog pro. They squeezed us in on the same day when we got in over our heads with a DIY bathroom remodel. Chris came (on time) and fixed up our leaky sink and was helpful explaining each part. Maybe we can do it ourselves next time. He also had tips for the non plumbing parts of our remodel. Friendly and courteous. Up front about the price. A bit more than we wanted to spend but it’s comforting to know the job is done right by a professional.

I have now used Clog Pro twice, and they have been very professional, very helpful, and very reasonable price-​wise. I will definitely continue to use them.

Very satisfied with the work and the price. Jesse was at our home on time and he diagnosed the slow drain problem quickly. Even though the problem ended up being more difficult than he anticipated, he charged the fee he quoted. By the way, the fee was less than I anticipated.
Will definitely use them again if needed.

we heart Clog Pro. when our basement started flooding, we called our usual plumber but they were busy and unable to help us. they recommended Clog Pro. Chris saved us from our mounting anxiety and what could have been a serious problem.
Chris engineered a temporary fix so that we could have water until he and his crew could return and make permanent repairs. he saved our day. Chris has an upbeat and positive personality which is an additional bonus.
consequently, we highly recommend Clog Pro.

Determined water line from the meter to house had a leak Friday afternoon. Called Clog Pro first thing Monday morning and spoke w/​Terese. She was beyond helpful (!!!) and was able to schedule Christopher to come out that afternoon. After talking w/​Christopher about the problem … made the decision to schedule the work. (Bid seemed very reasonable after talking w/​peers about similar repair.) Christopher called day before work to be performed to confirm time to start, etc. Because I was unable to be there, had to confirm — via phone — that leaky line was fixed. Spoke w/​Terese and she was, again, great! Work was completed on time for the bid amount and I could not be happier. Without hesitation I highly recommend Clog Pro should a plumbing service be needed!

Had a branch sewer line clogged, no joy from one of our bathrooms for toilet, shower or sink. Did some online research and settled on Clog Pro.
First thing I want to point out, though, is that Unilocal reviews are split into «recommended» and «not recommended». I don’t know what magic they use to split them out, but the «nots» are not visible at all using the mobile app, and you have to scroll to the bottom on the full site to click a link to them. Clog Pro’s «nots» have a single 4-​star review, and then a pile of 5-​star reviews.
Jesse made it out here, where we live on the far edge of civilization (less than a mile before the state forest), less than 3 hours after we called. I had made a small mess of my feeble clog removal efforts, and he was kind to me about it, lol.
About an hour later all was resolved. It was not cheap, but the reviews that complain about cost are in my opinion somewhat ridiculous. He showed up in a huge truck with all kinds of equipment ready to tackle anything, and towing an expensive jetting trailer for removing clogs. That stuff isn’t free, and if you want someone to come out and help you with this kind of problem, you want it done right, done promptly, and done the first time without return trips.
Paying someone for their time, their fuel, use of their equipment, and expertise/​experience, you get what you pay for. Our problem was completely resolved less than 4 hours after I called in, and that’s more than worth what we paid.

Tech came out and without looking at the clogged drain, quoted me $ 165.00 plus tax and a $ 20 truck fee??? After an hour of snaking and plunging the tub drain, he said that he couldn’t do anything else unless he charged overtime. I said no, and unfortunately threw away exactly $ 200.84 for nothing. The drain is still clogged and I am very disappointed with the waste of time and money this involved to get absolutely nowhere. I will be calling Rescue Rooter next time. They did an awesome job before and am sure they will do an awesome job again.
