Thank you very much for resolving an ongoing issue with our sink drain. Prior to calling Rooter Guard I tried everything to fix the drain including Draino, high pressure water hose, plunger, etc. and nothing worked. I finally decided to call Rooter Guard early Saturday morning. Within an hour and a half Jesse Flores with Rooter Guard was at my house. I showed him the clogged drain and he quoted the price, which was as advertised on Rooter Guard’s website, and proceeded to clear the drain. Fifteen minutes later the drain was clear and the cleaned up the bathroom, sparkling clean. I would definitely recommend Rooter Guard for all of your plumbing needs.

Master hands Lewis! The whole process was smooth, easy, and non-​stressful. I had multiple plumbing issues going on and needed a real professional to assist me, after calling around for quite some time I finally found peace of mind with Rooter Guard. I was having this pluming problem for a really long time. From time to time I got the sewer line snaked and it would solve the problem temporary. A few days ago I had the problem again and this time called I Rooter Guard plumbing.
The guy that come to look at my sewer line was Lewis. He called the field supervisor to run a camera and see what was the problem. When they ran a camera I couldn’t believe what I saw– the pipe was broken and lots of roots in there.
Lewis recommended me to change the sewer line to solve the problem. I followed the advice. Incredible job. Thanks to Lewis and his crew for saving me form this headache that I had for several years. I got 25 years warranty.
I think Rooter Guard is the best plumbing and drain company in Los Angeles.

If I can give 6 stars I definitely would! We’ve been using Rooter Guard for almost 4 years now for all our plumbing issues with our own home and rental property. They have replaced our water heater last year which is working great. A couple days ago we had a main line problem and called for their services again.
Their guy Lewis did an excellent job. He also gave a discount and a free estimate on other plumbing issues that he noticed during the work. We always recommend Rooter Guard to anyone in need of a plumber. I strongly recommend Lewis or Benny. I appreciate the fast service and the friendly, polite, and very efficient workers.

Had a sewer problem on Saturday (3⁄12). Been a problem since superbowl Sunday. Another company came out three times and didn’t fix it. Rooter guard sent out Erick R. And he did the job. Excellent work. Excellent service. Pulled out a glob of roots.

Thank you, Rooter Guard! I recently moved to California due to my work. It was my first experience with plumbing here. I have to confess really great service. It was a real pleasure to deal with these guys. The customer service lady was really helpful, too. I called them around 11:30 and they had a guy sent out to me by 1pm!
The guy who came to fix my toilet was very clean and professional. You know how it is… most of the time we don’t really want to deal with plumber (I’ve always had a bad image of them). But this experience truly changed my mind.

Rooter Guard did multiple jobs for us. The last one was installing tankless water heater which was done very professionally. Their plumber Ed worked hard.

I woke up the other morning to my toilet not working. It was super annoying. I’m guessing my roommate probably threw some paper towels or something in there, but either way, my toilet wouldn’t flush.
It was like 7am and I didn’t think anyone would answer my call that early. After calling several companies, I finally was put in touch with customer service at Rooter Guard. Thank god they were open!!!
Luckily they said their technician was just finishing up service at another job near my neighborhood so they were at my house in like 15 minutes. (Wow that was quick!)
Not to mention their plumber was really cool and funny. He was joking around and totally helped ease my bad mood. He fixed it in no time. These guys are fast, friendly, and know what they are doing. Thanks again! I highly recommend them!

This company is doing really good. I’m a contractor and we have worked with other plumbing companies for a few years, but this one is the best. There are so good and earned my trust immediately.
Their guy Harry did two big jobs for us. One of them was replacing 2 bathroom drain lines, pipes, and for minor things he didn’t even charge. This is something I thought was worth mentioning.
I’m giving you 5 stars, but you definitely deserve more. Thanks for your professionalism.

I called this company for the bathtub stoppage in my bathroom. Their customer service was nice and called me back in a short period of time. She let me know that she will send someone to my place from 9 to 10. The plumber showed up around 9:40 which made me happy as I had to go to work after a few hours.
All he had to do was just replace the overflow valve. Very good service and also very professional. I’m glad I called them; it was the right choice. Thanks, Root Gaurd!

I was having a main line problem. I got several companies numbers and started to call and ask for a quote. One of them sent a plumber the same day but when the guy came he started to upsell and started making my mind to have my entire main line get replaced. I‘m not a specialist but I could see that he was just trying to make things look bad and get more money out of me. I refused to agree to this.
Next was Plan B. I called rooter guard. Within next few hours they gave me an appointment. The agent on the phone told me that if my problem was only main line leak, the technician could fix it and there was no need to replace the main line.
So happy that I called them. Their plumber came over and fixed the leak like I was promised on the phone. I decided to come here and leave a review for you guys, you saved me a lot of money.

I’ve had horrible experience with so many Rooter companies. My family bends over backwards to make sure we don’t send yuck down the drain, because our kitchen sink clogs about once a year. It clogged yesterday, so I had to call for help. I called Rooter Guard because their price was so competitive. It’s $ 59 if you have a good accessible cleanout. Jackpot.
The guy came out and did a great job. He had to work pretty hard, but he finally snaked it out and cleared the clog.
TIP: Don’t pour nasty chemicals down the drain, because if they don’t clear the clog and you need a human to come out and help, the chemicals can easily burn the technician who snakes out the drain. I’ve had pretty good luck a couple of times with baking soda and vinegar which isn’t caustic.

Well I had a problem last week with my sewer backing up a little bit, So I decided to look here on Unilocal and found this place with good ratings.
Boy was I glad I did! Rooter Guard has very nice service in general. Albert came over within an hour of my initial call. The man looked really smart and professional, so that set me at ease right away. He took the time to show me what was the tissue and what to look for in the future. I was concerned a lot about my sewer but he calmed me down saying that he was going to do his best, and I believe he did.
As he explained to me, the camera inspection was needed to find out what was going on in the sewer system. After he ran the camera, he told me that he would just clean the sewer line, as the pipe are old and need to be replaced, this would be a cheaper alternative and the problem would be solved temporarily.
For now, I can’t afford to have my entire sewer line replaced, but in a couple of months i’m going to be sure to call Rooter Gaurd again and ask for Albert to come over and replace my sewer with a newer system. See you soon Albert, thanks again for your professionalism, You really are Awesome!

Rooter Guard did a great, quality job at my house! I was very satisfied with both the technician who came out and the customer service rep, and also with Juan. They were each really patient (I can be pretty indecisive). The technician (Gary) never complained and was patient and polite with me, and I appreciated that. They even gave me a 10% discount.
FYI — They replaced the pipes in the bathroom and main water line. I was able to get a 25yr warranty, so I don’t worry about having problems in the future.
I highly recommend this company! Five stars!

We had our main sewer line backed up so we searched for a plumber. Rooter guard was the 1st company to come up, seeing the good reviews, I gave them a call. All I can say is, I was so glad I made that phone call.
We had JC out to our property on time and he had our sewer line draining right away! Customer service skills were amazing. The technician communicated very well with us, as far as what he was doing and letting us know what was causing the back up. Couldn’t have picked a better company to come out to our property.

I was happy that he agreed to come to my house and look at everything and give me a free estimate. He told and explained to me that he is a real professional and been in this for many years in spite of his young age.
He gave me a reliable estimate. I think another plumber at his place would try to charge for it or try to sell something and make things look bad. I asked him to come back another day and fix our pipes, which he did perfectly.

Our water heater was leaking and wasn’t producing hot water at all. This was a morning surprise as my family and I shower every morning. Our mornings ALWAYS start with a refreshing shower. We were desperately looking for a good plumber.
We called RG around 7:30 A.M. and assumed nobody would be able to come that early, but we needed our showers ASAP… RG was prompt and understanding and sent a plumber within the hour.
They sent over a very polite guy named James. James was excellent! After inspecting our water heater he started to fix it immediately. He explained what the problem was, installed a few new parts, and fixed our water heater. James provided an excellent service and was extremely quick.

I called about the $ 59 rooter service the nice operator said she could have someone come out in 1 hour and the guy called and said it would be $ 149. Apparently it costs $ 90 to walk into the house.
Don’t trust them.
Original review was a customer service mix up. Owner called the next day hoping to understand the issue. Said he would honor the original $ 59 price. Good customer service from him.
