We Deliver: We deliver the boxes to your door at a time that fits your busy schedule. Boxes are pre-​assembled, clean and ready to pack.

You Pack & Move: Our crush-​proof and water-​resistant boxes protect your property. The boxes have comfortable handles, stack and lock easily, so movers can load and unload faster, cutting your moving expenses.

We Pick Up: When you’re done moving, we pick up the boxes, clean them, and rent them again, so you don’t have to break down boxes and dispose of cardboard trash.

Perfect perfect perfect! Bins were dropped of at my home and picked up at my new home. You cannot beat door to door service! A million times better than dumpster diving and trolling neighborhood grocery stores looking for soggy old boxes.
The bins are sturdy, clean and come in a variety of sizes. I took the 25box package and this was just the right amount for me; I had a 1br 850sq ft apt.
I did not compare prices to traditional boxes if I had bought the same amount as new, but let’s be real; the process of traditional boxes is a royal pain! Find them, put them together, tape, more tape, not sturdy for heavy stuff, take them apart, more tape, and then disposal/​recycling?!
Rent A Moving Box is 100 000% more convenient and the cost was MORE than reasonable!
Highly recommend! I’ll never move without these again.

Great company. Made the move easy. Turned up on time, with the creates, zip ties and labels then a week after the move, came back to collect them. Very punctual and professional.
Not that i want to move again anytime soon, but will be using them the next time!

Terrific customer experience. I recently did a local move in LA and did not want to go through the expense and exhaustion of typical moving boxes (getting boxes, putting boxes together, taping boxes, having boxes fall apart… urg). Rent a Moving Box is super convenient in that they drop off/​pick up the crates when you’re available. I did the 25 crate option which was perfect for my 2 bedroom (although I do not have much clutter). The customer service was great and very flexible regarding pickup/​dropoff times. The crew was courteous and on-​time and the whole ordeal was very stress free. And I saved a lot of dough and personal time using this service. Will be doing this again for my next move!

This is a game changer in the moving process. Highly recommend using reusable boxes. And even more so, I recommend getting those boxes from Rent a Moving Box. They were easy to work with, on time, courteous, and very reasonably priced. And I did speak with a few companies. These guys were the best hands down.
And the joy of not throwing away all that cardboard was even better.

Moving is never a fun process and there are a lot of companies out there who are more than happy to swindle you by underquoting and over-​billing as well as over-​promising and under-​delivering.
I’ll tell you right now that this company is not one of them. I realized that I was out of traditional cardboard boxes with more than half of my house left to pack. I found Rent a Moving Box through Google and gave them a call. I emailed three companies asking to see if I could get boxes delivered same day. Rent a Moving Box was the only one that could fulfill this request.
When I called, the representative said they could deliver the boxes (I requested 40) within a couple of hours. However they wouldn’t have been cleaned but the drivers would pick the cleanest ones. After a *very* smooth delivery, I inspected the boxes and I would have never known they weren’t clean. No dirt or soil in any of the 40 boxes.
The boxes themselves were perfect for my move. When I was done, I stacked them out back in preparation for the pickup a week later. The truck picked up my boxes, loaded them onto the truck, confirmed that they were all there and left. No typical b/​s involved. I got an email confirming that everything was a-​okay and my experience was over.
Renting hard boxes is pricier than buying your own cardboard from a U-​Haul. That said, you can take some kind of solace that the boxes you rented won’t end up in a landfill to slowly decompose over the next several decades. So this might not be an option if you’re on a super-​low budget but it’s absolutely worth it if you can do it. Not to mention they pickup the boxes. Nothing to break down, no knives to locate to cut the tape. It just works.
PROS: Excellent customer service, easy delivery and pickup, good sturdy boxes, nothing in the landfills.
CONS: Pricier than traditional cardboard moving boxes.
OVERALL: I’d absolutely use these guys again. They’re more than worth it!

I’ve never used the green moving boxes before and i will never move again without them! Our movers really appreciated them as well, it cut moving time down significantly. Also, not having to deal with getting rid of all that cardboard was SO NICE and made me feel pretty awesome not throwing boxes in the trash.
Customer service was fantastic. They were super nice, prompt to return calls, showed up exactly when they said they would and they were incredibly accommodating and gave me a bit of extra time to unpack, which i really appreciated. Will absolutely use you in the future and highly recommend!

These boxes were great and made packing and moving so much easier!
What’s great about the boxes is that they’re solid and sturdy so you don’t have to worry about them collapsing if they’re not completely full. Our movers loved them and said it made our move much more efficient and they could make solid walls in the truck with them.
I’m pretty sure the time we saved on the move paid for the expense of renting the boxes. Joe and Ryan were very flexible in delivery and pickup, and when we didn’t have them unpacked in time, they rescheduled pickup-​no problem.
I hope I don’t have to move again soon, but if we do, we’ll be sure to use them again!

Great «green» way to move. They drop off the very sturdy plastic boxes at your old place, then pick them up from your new place. They were also the best priced company I found in the area for 50 boxes for a week. They’re a little flexible on delivery and pick-​up, but because they schedule their routes for the day ahead of time, the windows are somewhat small, which is good and bad. Good because you’re not sitting around for 6 hours waiting for them, but bad because all their deliveries/​pickups happen during normal business hours, so had to use a lunch break to drive home and let them in. However, if you’re able to, you can place them outside your home, and they will pick up/​drop off from there (provided they can access it without your presence).

Joe was super easy to communicate with and he worked around my schedule. The guys dropped off the green boxes and picked them up exactly when they were supposed to. My schedule even changed last minute and they were able to leave the crates where I had asked them to and the did so and even sent a photo to make sure I approved!

What a great, easy, affordable and hassle-​free solution for moving boxes this is.
Compared to spending nearly twice as much at U-​Haul for boxes for my last move (and being left afterward with boxes that I literally couldn’t give away via Craigslist etc.), these boxes and the company rock. Delivery to your current location, eco-​friendly but super sturdy boxes in all sizes that are great for packing anything, and then — the best part — the boxes being picked up at the new location… it was all a fantastic experience.
And the guys running the company are extremely customer service-​centric.
I’d highly recommend Rent A Moving Box for anyone moving in the LA area.

SO much better than buying or searching for cardboard boxes. The standard sizes make it much easier to estimate how much stuff you can pack into each box, and they’re much sturdier, meaning you can fit more in each box.
Drop off and pickup was no hassle, and the zip-​tie and labeling system was a cinch.
My movers loved them and it saved me time and money. I can’t imagine ever going back to cardboard.

I wish all customer service was this good! Ordered a package of boxes, a rolling garment rack and a dolly for the boxes. They even included 10 garment bags and a bunch of tags and zip ties for free. The boxes arrived on time and VERY clean. These boxes pretty much saved our lives during the move. Pickup was also super smooth. I would 1000% recommend these guys to anyone making a move.

First of all, the guys at Rent a Moving Box are great: they’re really accommodating and professional. And I love the idea behind the company. I was searching online for a place that sold cardboard boxes for moving when I came across this place, and was I ever glad I did. I hate having to buy all those cardboard boxes and then just throwing them out when I’m done, or having to break them all down and take them to the recycling plant.
And you don’t even have to pick them up or drop them off… they bring them to your door and then pick them up on the other end! It’s great!
And if you’re wondering about the quality of the bins, I can say they’re very durable, sturdy, and best of all: stackable. This makes packing a lot easier, and easier to load onto the truck.
All-​in-​all it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Rent a Moving Box.

First time renting my moving boxes and I could not have had a better experience. The boxes were promptly dropped off and picked up in the time frame stated. The customer service was quick and friendly via email.
The best part is not having to build cardboard boxes, and spending most of my time constantly looking for the packing tape and sharpie. If you’re moving try rent a moving box and save time and headache.

Let me start by saying that I hate moving. Part of that hate stems from the packing process, more specifically, finding cardboard boxes, lugging them home, taping them up, packing and then unpacking and then breaking said boxes down and having to dispose them.
Rent A Moving Box makes this painful process so easy … they deliver your boxes to your current location, text you a pic so you know they have arrived, you throw all your stuff into them, move, unpack and then they come and pick them up. So easy, saves money and helps the environment too. I’m in!

I can’t recommend Rent A Moving Box enough!
We saved tons of time not having to put boxes together, tons of $$$ not having to buy said boxes, tape, and markers, and tons of hassle by having a full week to move and unpack.
Joe was so nice, responsive, and on top of it. If you care even .01% about this huge ball we live on, consider this reusable resource before buying cardboard. I will never move without Rent A Moving Box again.
