RCs Towing

They have a sign posted on the outside of my building… called to have a car towed that was blocking my driveway and they said to call 311, which wasn’t open at the time. Why even have a sign then?

If I could give this place no stars I would. Someone parked in our pid for permit spot at our apartment, and RC’s towing is who the building asks you to call. When we called initially they told us 20 – 30 minutes. After 30 minutes we called back and got told to «listen» by the very rude receptionist. She tried to tell us we were incorrect and that it hadn’t been half an hour (even though we have proof of call time) and that «sometimes they’re just running a little late. If it was more than five minutes late then she would see why we called back.» It has now been almost an hour (and when we try and call it goes directly to voicemail) and we are STILL waiting on a tow truck to tow the idiot who parked in our space.
I feel bad for whoever has to deal with this company once their car is towed! Sounds like they’re going to get the run around as well.
I hope we don’t have to deal with this company again to help us out, because I really don’t appreciate being talked down to because I was told the truck would be here and I’m STILL waiting.

I usually don’t leave bad feedback. But this is unbelievable. MUST READ IT. So while i went to my friends house to pick up something, i parked my car outside behind his car (where there is NO sign what so ever about no parking) and my GIRLFRIEND was sleeping in the back (she is 23). About 10pm i got a call from my girlfriend talking to me in a low voice scared telling me that they are taking the car while she is sleeping inside at the backseat. I run outside started running after the tow truck telling him to stop. When he finally stopped i approached to him told him that why is my car been towed away when there is no sign posted no parking and plus WHEN THERE IS A PERSON IN THE CAR SLEEPING. Than he decided to drop the car but also charge me 60 $ which i gave him CASH. And dropped my car. After all that my gf was terrified, and then when we were driving back home already i noticed my car was making this weird and loud noise from the front right side. I then stopped and ask my gf to drive slowly while next to the car to see where is the noise from and it was from the front and it was making a noise that i can not describe. Plus on the right side on the front there is a damage to my bumper. IM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM AND IM GOING TO REPORT THIS TO BBB AND IM GOING TO FILE A CLAIM TO THEM.

This company is unbelievable, the charges they put on your car tow is really outrageous. They towed my car from girlfriends apartment building wrongfully and I have proof but they charge me for 230.00 dollars for a tow less then 8 hours. Whoever has this company as part of their tow hook up you should be investigated for taking a kick back from them. The way this company is ran needs to be investigated by the department of transportation.

IN MY OPINION!!! These people are Crooked thieves! Incompatent losers! Their place of business is unbelievably dirty (as they are). Walls are falling over/​barbwire hanging loosely. The girl at the desk is in desperate need of an education. UCLA GRAD? I doubt she even has a GED. All she does is BS about everything. No one believes you (and I mean NOBODY LMAO!).The owner can hardly speak English! Very unprofessional people. THE OWNER ADMITTED THAT THE UNEDUCATED WOMAN AT THE FRONT DESK IS HIS GIRLFRIEND, So don’t get her mad or he will try and argue with you with his broken English, you won’t understand a word he’s saying so don’t even waste your time talking to that «INUTIL» any person with a sense of class would not associate/​let alone bring their business to this dump. DO NOT PAY $ 60 FOR THEM TO LOWER YOUR CAR! ITS ILLEGAL!!! DONT BELIEVE ME CALL THE POLICE COMMISION AND ASK THEM! …

However legally he must leave car for 60 $ if owner show up i never seen towing guy running away thats how cheap this business anyway i claim my transaction cause their illegal business if you need this company as a costumer dont make this kinda business alive .
If you feel they ripe you, pay with credit card and deal with your bank instead of cheap ppl

Shady people located in a shady area. Uses intimidation. Beyond unprofessional. Bunch of crooks charging $ 200+ to release a car that they towed/​stored for less than 12 hours. Will not answer simple questions unless you sign the credit card receipt. Don’t let them take your driver’s license and credit card out of your sight. Car theft is just as rampant as identity theft now a days. Just saying.

Car stopped. Called RC and the lady says it’s a 15 minute wait. An hour and 30 minutes later the truck arrives. I’m just going to leave it at that.

Do not use these people for any business or apartment service, and not even for a tow service. They kept my car for 50 hours (2.1 days) and wanted to charge for 4 days! How is that even fair?

RC towing does a terrific job taking care of my parking lot. We deal with a ton of people that want to just leave their cars in my lot, like it is a storage lot. RC towing is quick to response when we call to have a car removed. Drivers are clean cut and very helpful. Thanks RC towing

I went to visit my step dad in Van Nuys and parked in his neighbors parking spot. In less than two hours I walk out and someone had tow my vehicle. I locate my car here at RCs towing and they were not very helpful. I had to pay $ 162 dollars to get my car out and please keep in mind that my car was in their hands for less than an hour. They did not negotiate at all on the price ! The secretary was really rude. Most places I visit people are nice but this was not the case! I comprehend that I made the mistake but they should have some type of discount for being out of town. Negative stars for RCs Towing!!!

I had a emergency my wife was about to give birth and it was a car blocking us rigth in our parking lot we didn’t know who that car belongs too. I call rc’s towing and de Secretary Adriana was so nice to help us she also gave us the exact time of the arrival of the towing truck. In 15 minutes they where towing the car that was blocking us. Thank you guys you are a awesome team and have a great customer service

Horrible people! The property owner of my apartment complex is re-​asphalting our parking lot and put a sign that stated no parking on the 20^th. Myself and most of my neighbors assumed that we would be able to move our cars the morning of the 20^th. I walk out to the parking lot around 8:00 in the morning to find my car up on the truck. The asphalt company told the tow truck guy that it was my car and asked to drop my car. The tow truck guy then states it will be $ 60, calls his manager over who said I have to pay the $ 60. When I protested he said «Stop being a bitch and just pay the $ 60» come to find out another neighbor who drove an Audi just paid him $ 120 to have his car dropped from the truck! These guys are criminals stay away!

I was just verbally assaulted by a driver who was nice enough to let me know it’s cause I’m a white piece of shit and get used to it and white people are a fucking minority and deserve to be treated like shit so get use to it… we were parked across the street from our house in a parking lot that states no over night parking, we were only parked there for under an hour we came home to change for a movie so it wasn’t that long considering there were cars there for over 3 days and alot more that were there hours longer than us… well here is the humdinger they are all mexican and black so they didn’t get towed just the fucking white minority as the tow driver explains… so he tells my girlfriend, fucking white bitch to hurry her fat ass up and get him 60 dollars or he is towing the car… you have 5 minutes… they broke into my girls car and rummaged threw it as a thief would his assistant or girlfriend was laughing hysterically over the whole thing especially when he was referring to us as fucking white trash, by the way the so called security guard for the plaza chimed in with racial statements and thought it was real funny when the tow driver was calling us horrible racial slander… then the driver told use to get a job fucking white trash, my girlfriend has 2 jobs and I’m a Longshoreman. .well I will be taking this all the way and will not stop until he is brought to justice for his crimes of racial bigotry. I will be contacting everyone who is anyone to attorney’s, police, Unilocal,blogs, and claims court this was a racial crime and no matter what nationality you are it’s not rite and not what this great country of great states and great nationalities that of the people that make America what she is …

I know what you’re saying to yourself, «Well, it’s a towing company so of course they’re not gonna have a great rating.» «Can’t be that bad.» Even if the towing company had towed my car and allowed me to just pay my fee and retrieve my car, I wouldn’t have any problems. But this is not what happened. Instead, all I’m getting is the run around. I show up and nobody is there. I am told to wait 15 minutes until the woman on the phone can come and help me. An HOUR later, a tow truck driver shows up and finally lets me in to get my car. When I see it, I notice there is a huge dent on my rear passenger side door! I ask the gentleman about this and he says that I can come back on Monday (because this was on a weekend and they were usually closed) and go through the camera surveillance on their tow truck to see if this was done during the tow. I accept that and come back on Monday. Now, I’m here on the phone with same woman from a couple days ago and she’s telling me I can’t see the tape for security reasons and I must go through my insurance. This place has never made it easy and it feels like they are just trying to deter people from coming here. Well after this matter is resolved, I hope I never have to come back here again.

WORST PEOPLE ON EARTH! Stay away and if needed contact police and go through all the motions. (Small claims) Horrible company. They lie, steal, and try to intimidate their customers when they don’t get their way. They towed a friends stolen car and made him pay for the fees and avoided police. An ordeal that dragged on for months. This company should be shut down immediately
