I’ve brought all my cars here, three, and some had multiple accidents. Juan, the adjuster, is always very understanding and everything runs smooth. He is quick to reply to e-​mails and the cooperation/​response time is exceptional. I am always very satisfied when my car comes out from the shop and will continue to bring my cars to this location. Everyone from the receptionist to the owner, this business is well ran, operated, and very efficient.

This place is a nightmare. If you have a car accident don’t go near this place. They will automatically give you an inflated estimate which insurance companies won’t cover. Then when you try to promptly take it to a different body shop, they soak you for high storage costs. They victimize you when you are already flusteredfrom having an accident.

Go there only if you have unlimited amount of time & patience.
They took over 59 days to fix my car, NO ELECTRICAL DAMAGE. After reading few comments here looks like their normal response is, it will take about 3 weeks to fix your car. And «I want you to be back in your car as quickly as possible. I don’t get paid until your car is out of my shop!» (I checked with insurance, it is a COMPLETE LIE. they get paid at every step) They will do anything to get your car into their shop. Game starts once you give them approval to work on it.
They lied weeks after weeks and blamed on Insurance agent/​BMW parts department/​BMW service center/​Shipping services for delays. Last reason they gave me was that the headlight we received was faulty (both??), so we had to go fight for you with BMW to get it replaced (another week delay). Lier Juan ordered wrong headlight. Very rude Owner/​Manager Audrey Coletta and no customer service. When I talked to her, she told me the reason for delay is because «I have too many cars to work on!!»
When I received my car it had wrong front grill, broke locking system, incorrectly positioned headlight, no license plate bracket. I have no idea if there is anything wrong mechanically.
When I saw the final bill, I understood the problem. It was simple. By delaying the delivery, they were able to increase their labor charge to insurance. Total cost was tripled than initial estimate.
Not satisfied at all. DO NOT GO THERE…

I was very pleased with the work that was done. I was not all that pleased with the amount of time it took. However, I fault State Farm as well as their adjuster had to make trips to the shop to approve additional charges. I am going to re-​think the «need» to drive a nice car as they are hideously expensive to fix. I must say George was a treat to work with and although he didn’t respond to my emails, he kept me alert to the progress of my car.

I brought my 2004 Chrysler 300 to them because my mother-​in-​law sideswiped the door and caused a bunch of damage on the passenger side. I felt funny driving my jalopy to their lot with all the new German cars in the lot but Juan took great care of me. Because there was some additional damage that the insurance wouldn’t cover, they worked hard at helping me keep the costs down. I was amazed and how good the car looked. Juan was great and the GM Bill even made sure that I was satisfied. I’m very impressed with them and give them my highest recommendation.

I rarely take the time to writes reviews but Juan at Precision Auto Body took exceptional care when repairing my mom’s convertible mini cooper. She had damage to her side vehicle after another car hit her and then left the scene.
Precision Auto Body got her hooked up with a rental car and restored her car back to it’s perfection! We consider Juan like a family member as he has been taking excellent care of all our family cars for years.

I am always unhappy when my car is in the body shop. However, Precision is as good as it gets. Quality craftsmanship and professional interaction. Juan, Luis and Claudia are wonderful to deal with! They are not the cheapest shop in town, but you have to pay a little extra to get better work and service!

I was referred by Bob Smith BMW and I’m glad I called. The repair was done through our insurance and Precision helped us to get all new BMW replacements parts. This was really important as our car is very new 2015 528i. The work took a couple of weeks because original parts were ordered but once in they did a great job to get it done asap.
The actual work was perfect. The only thing that might have made the experience a little better was the handoff. I would have liked the shop to go over the work with me at the end to see if I was happy. Instead it was kind of a pay and go situation.
In any case I wanted results and I got them. Great job Precision Auto Body.

I read all the bad reviews, but these guys were Mercedes authorized, and Mercedes Encino took my car here for some warranty paint work.
First, when I arrived at Precision to fill out paperwork (and waited… and waited…) I walked outside to see their body guy trying to pry out my windshield with a metal rod, within a few minutes, bang! They broke my windshield.
Next, when I did finally get the car back, the hood was swirled from a buffer. They told me they were nice enough to polish my car as a courtesy. I guess they didn’t know that I saw them break the windshield and scratch the hood.
There were two paint drips on the car that I had to point out. There were a couple of fisheyes in the paint that I had to point out. There was dust in the paint that I had to point out…
Oh, and the best part. When trying to pry out the windshield, they left dents all along the roof of my car.
Here’s the best part. Dealing with Bill. The patronizing manager. When they broke my windshield they told me they might have to keep my car for months because Mercedes might only have the windshield in Germany. So I told them I thought they should provide a loaner car. Bill’s response? «So I guess you think we should just give you a G Wagon because your windshield broke?» I stopped him right there and told him if this was his attitude from the get go, we were done talking.
I also had the pleasure of listening to Bill (as I waited in the lobby many times) chastise and lecture his customers about why he charges so much «I pay a lot of rent here, if you want to drive your car to Texas, we’ll work on it cheaper, but we’re not in Texas are we?» What a wonderful guy.
After my experience, I have met several in the industry that have told me horror stories, including a paintless dent repair person who said he used to work for them and they would then bill insurance for a respray.
There are plenty of other body shops, I can’t believe these guys can remain factory authorized and stay in business.

After my son had his car accident, I recommended Precision Auto Body to my ex-​wife, thinking that this place was reputable and professional. After going back and forth with my ex-​wife, I was able to convince her to go with this body shop. This being said, my experience was the complete opposite. They were extremely unprofessional, dishonest and completely unethical.
I do not think it is uncommon for a divorced parent who is paying half of the bill to request an itemized statement of what the insurance paid, what the deductible is and proof of payment from both parties. When I requested this it was not provided to me. I was told that they can only provide me with the receipt of my payment. This is unacceptable. I have a right to supporting documentation that both parties have paid their obligated amounts.
Precision Auto Body’s practice of doing business is, unacceptable, unprofessional, unethical and in my opinion illegal. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

If you want your paint to look like new then come here. Very nice staff and knowledgeable with premium cars. Im very happy to have found them.

Long story, but here’s the short version. Front end of my Porsche Cayenne GTS was hit and towed to Precision Auto on May 22 because State Farm recommended them. Estimated damage was about $ 11K but some parts needed to be ordered from Germany. Granted there were a couple of holidays but it took 7 weeks and 1 day to get my car back! I was constantly following up requesting updates as the original estimate was 3 – 4 weeks. Needless to say my car rental coverage was completely exhausted well before the car was fixed. But, that’s not the worst of it. I received an email from them stating the car would be ready July 7^th. I showed up on the 8^th and was shocked to see paint drips and poor masking that hadn’t even been cleaned up. They asked me to give them an hour to buff it all out but I was already late and said I’d be back the next day. So, the next day I returned my rental in Burbank rode my bike to my office in Studio City and took a cab to Reseda in the afternoon to pick up the car. The service guy (he’s lucky I don’t mention his name) was surprised that my car wasn’t in the lot and found out his manager instructed the crew to remove and respray the bumper! Nobody had the courtesy to tell me and he wasn’t even apologetic about it! They drove me up to Enterprise nearby and got me a Mini. After multiple emails from me, they said it would be ready after 4:00 on Friday. Never a sorry from the manager, never a sorry from the service rep. So I picked it up Monday because who goes to Reseda on a Friday night. Sorry, but this story just gets worse. About a week later I emailed them because the steering felt very loose and there was water inside the light on the side they fixed. They blamed the steering issue on the Auto Gallery, who they had aligned it but when I told him I didn’t think it was an alignment issue they told me to bring it in for the manager to inspect. I was going to but it was so bad that I decided to take it to the Speed Gallery because they were closer. Dan (this guy is great) immediately realized there was way too much «play» in the steering where you could move the wheel almost 2 inches before the tires would turn! He said it wasn’t safe to drive so we called State Farm to send an adjuster to meet him. A couple of days later the adjuster gave Dan the ok to put it on the rack and tear down the suspension to see what the issue was because the adjuster agreed it wasn’t safe enough for me to drive all the way out to Precision Auto Body again. A couple days later Dan called to let me know that Precision did order the right parts but whoever put it back together didn’t tighten it all up. He said it was as if they put everything in place but didn’t do the final steps. Also, the camber was completely off from Porsche specs which would only help to worsen the steering issues. Would I go back to Precision? Never. Would I recommend them? Not if you want things done right and care about your safety. They get a lot of high end cars in there. I saw Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Bentley and Maseratis but cannot imagine this was a one time mistake. They lacked professionalism and the quality of their work was horrible. To have to pay someone else to properly fix their mistakes is not right.

Precision did a masterful job in replacing the front bumper of our 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman. Both George & Seth made sure the work was perfect including the color match. And, they expedited the insurance process which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend Precision if you need body work.

They took for ever to fix a bumper almost 9 weeks. And now every single part that they have touched is braking apart. Not satisfied at all. Very rude people and no customer service.

It took many weeks to get my Cayenne right between Precision and the AutoGallery but the coordinated and executed like true professionals. I’ve dealt with many body shops over the years and they are the best, Maybe because Don at the AutoGallery is so professional, maybe just because they are too. I was very happy with their workand it was worth the wait.

I knew about Precision from other customers so we had our car taken there by our insurance after an accident took out our front bumper, sensors, front cameras, turn indicators, etc. Unfortunately a replacement bumper was not available immediately and had to be ordered from Germany but arrived much sooner than expected. When they let us know the car was ready, we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the car. It was immaculate inside and out, everything was in perfect working order, and we drove away completely satisfied.
I cannot believe the negative reviews this company has received, hard to think they are referring to the same place we dealt with! No hassles, no fuss. We were not at fault in the accident, so Precision made our mishap more bearable with their follow-​up phone calls and emails. I hope I’m not in another position to use them, but if I am, my cars will go back with no hesitation!

fantastic detailed oriented bunch of professionals

Took my 2012 Tahoe LTZ to Precision after being side swiped by a moving truck. They were very friendly for the time I walked in the door. They walked me through damages and what repairs were needed and then told me it would take 2 weeks to fix. After exactly 2 weeks, my truck was done and it looked just like it did when I drove it off the lot 2 years ago! I am so happy with the work they did and would tell anyone to go there without hesitation!

(1.5)This place was on the list of referrals from the insurance company so I went with it because it was so close. The staff here are pretty nice, they have Kuerig coffee machine & they give you free hand sanitizer. Only time I could drop the car off was on a Friday (insurance co said go anytime I want). The estimator encouraged that I bring the vehicle back on Monday because the insurance company will bitch about the extra 2 days of rental they need to give me. He took the car anyway because he understood my situation.
Why am I giving this place a 1.5? Well, the body work was fine and all but they did work on the EXTERIOR of my car. I wasn’t the one who picked up my car but when I got it back. my stereo system was messed with??? Yes, they clean every single vehicle and they turned my dirty interior into a clean one but WTF! It took forever before I actually got it functioning again. and part of the stereo was sticking out which didn’t even need to be touched. if you’re just cleaning it!!!
– YOU SHOULD NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A STEREO INSTALLED.
Might come back if I don’t have a stereo and the insurance company sent me but from the other reviews… maybe not?
