We have been eating in and taking out for over 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed! Eddie and Barbara are as friendly as could be and enjoy preparing their dishes. This is telling in their«products». My wife loves their chicken rolls and I always order my «special», a slice with sausage and extra cheese! When we order dinner, for pickup, it is usually a sausage parmigiana for me and a chicken parm for my wife, They are both delicious and large enough portions to have some left over for the next day!

Plain and simple. Old fashion pizza shop. They dont flood the counter with weird variety pizzas. Good plain old pizza that tastes great. They will give toppings upon request but believe me its not needed.

Best local pizza with a smile and genuine desire to please the customer. My family loves this pizzeria and the owners. Genuine Old school ‘80s pizzeria. Flavor is unmatched by most of the biggest name places. Even though they do not deliver and accept cash only, we have no problem calling ahead and picking up a few pies and old school ices(which are excellent as well). Wish there were more of these!

My family has been enjoying Eddie’s pizza for years. My daughter has always said that the pizza is so good cause Eddie makes his pizza with love in every slice. Looking forward to my next slice. Awesome job Eddie!

I did not know about this pizzeria growing up, it was only a few years ago that my husband told me about this place. It’s so good! 2 mushroom slices = heaven! However, I’ve noticed the slices have gotten smaller recently.

Very good. I remember riding my bike to this place when it first was opening in 85ish. I stop here when I’m in VS it’s still good.

Pretty decent pizza. Sicilian slices are pretty darn good too. Haven’t tried anything else here.

Came across this place by accident looking for a pizzeria in Valley Stream, great Unilocal rating and just happened to be only a few blocks away. Shared plain, sicilian and meatball/pepper slices. Plain was perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. Sicilian was soft and doughy but still moist. Meatball and pepper was my fave, they take the meatballs straight out of the sauce they’re made in, chop ‘em up and add to the pizza with a little extra cheese. All were good, which is rare for the first time I try a new pizza place. Also got a pinwheel but it was pretty standard cheese and spinach, saving that for home to dip in some sauce at a later time.

This place is as close to a NYC pizza parlor you can get out of the five boroughs. I’ve never eaten anything other than regular old pizza, knots or pinwheels here, and I’ve never been disappointed. Eddie is the man. Him and his family and staff are personable and part of the what makes the whole experience of eating here enjoyable. Prices are reasonable, pies are made fresh all day long. I used to joke with Eddie that my only complaint was that with his last name being DiMaggio he was a Mets fan. He’s a big sports fan and will chat with you about sports while you wait for your slices. I’m not in the area all that much anymore, but I used to get lunch here several times a month. It was worth driving 10 minutes out of my way. It’s nice that mom and pop shops like this still exist, and that business owners like Eddie are still around.

Eddie D’s not only has the best pizza, and food in general, around but they are great people too! Everything is super fresh and cooked to perfection! I don’t think I have ever had a calzone as amazing and ooey gooey cheesy delishiness as theirs! Keep up the good work!!! It’s a great place and I recommend it to everyone!!!

With kind thanks to my grandparents I have been eating Eddie D’s pizza as long as I can remember. This place is incredibly sentimental for me as a result, but that does not diminish the quality of the pies that Eddie D and his crew create each day. Perfect crust, excellent ingredients, really great stuff. Now living on the west coast I pine for it, they just don’t make pizza like this over here. :[

This place is a huge favorite, especially for the middle school or high school kids that would go here for their lunch period. The pizza is excellent and always fresh.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza place in town. The pizza is always fresh and tasty with a beautiful crispy perfectly browned crust. The sauce is spiced just right, and when you ask for toppings, they come in generous portions, and a little extra cheese is added too. To be honest, I’ve never had any of the other menu items because the pizza is just that good, but the heroes all look good, as do the other items. The owner, Eddie, is always there and is a friendly host. Its just a nice old fashioned neighborhood pizzeria!
