Genovese Pizzeria

The square slices are the best in the area. Splurge for the extra cheese! Nice blue-​collar regulars. Soda that is better than expexted. Decent people and great food.

Stopped here after years of passing it on the way towards points South a few Saturdays ago and was immediately struck by the family friendly atmosphere when i walked in. Although small, it had a cool yet cozy vibe about it. You can sit towards the small entrance and watch TV or, gravitate towards the dinning area that looks and feels like something Mario Puzzo would have added to his novels-​intimate, private and cozy. The small but clean and comfortable pizzeria is a welcome place on a cold winter’s afternoon. The pizza is, in a word, outstanding. The crust is thick and doesn’t wilt with grease and cheese when folded, The sauce is perfect– not too spicy or sweet. One slice (honestly) is enough to fill you up but, you’ll eat two because they taste so good. We had a pie delivered not long after this visit and, it was as good as standing at the counter. right out of the oven Same crust, same taste, same great texture. Wish they would move further South in town but, they’ve now become our ‘go to’ pizzeria for delivery. We haven’t tried the kitchen menu yet but, if it’s half as good as the pizza, we know we wont be disappointed

Best garlic knots ever! This is my go to pizzeria when I want an eggplant parm hero, meatballs, or grandma pizza… and of course always the knots! They also recently started delivering which made them even better & they are reasonably priced.

I love this place. They use the freshest ingredients to make delicious food, everything on their menu is amazing; the service is great (even the delivery guys are like having your cousin bring you food); very fast delivery with care; the best thing about Genevese is they treat everyone like family at Genovese. They remember your name and your favorites. Erin is absolutely the sweetest girl there, she is always on point and has great suggestions when you just aren’t sure what you want. Customer for life!

I’m a frequent customer and there is a reason for that! They serve the best pizza I’ve ever had! The staff is great and they recognize those who come in often !

I travel 5 days a week all over long island. I eat allot of pizza. The pie here is perfect. If you like you pie thin with crispy crust like a cracker you have to try this place

I love this place. It’s very family oriented. The food is great. They have SUPERB customer service. The sauce on the buffalo chicken is good but the chicken is not crispy (My personal preference). A bit pricey but that’s probably because their rent is high. After all this is in Valley Stream.

I’ve been going here since I was little, my family orders from here every week. My dad is really picky when it comes to Italian food, but he loves their chicken parmigiana with angel hair spaghetti. You won’t be disappointed.

I come at least twice a week, food is excellent and the staff is great, some people talk about price, but quality and great service compensates. The whole menu is delicious.

Best Pizzeria in the area! Family owned and operated. My whole family has been coming here every week for over 20 years… All our friends love it and the menu is outstanding! Whether it’s for a fabulous slice, delicious dinners, lunch specials or even to cater your parties there food is superb! Great friendly staff, service with a smile with exceptional food! Owners treat you like family! Highly recommended!

Found good coupon deals in paper. Pizza seemed nice enough to me. Friendly staff & patrons. A guy went out of his way to hold the door for me on my way out. Overall, good experience! Definitely returning.

A consistently good cheese slice.

My go to pizzaria! Everything I’ve had here tasted great! Cheese slice, pepperoni slice, or a meat lovers slice all taste amazing! The garlic knots are also full of much flavor and are very soft. Another treat they have here that you may love are zeppoles and the authentic Italian ices! They have the right stuff going here and I absolutely love this place! Not to mention every worker is in there is very friendly and treats you like a regular even if you are new!

Buffalo chicken and the grandma slice is on point… nice friendly staff. Good serving on the order of garlic knots. Parking can be a problem in the area during busy hours. PIZZA is one of the best in Valley Stream…

Been eating here for years, even before I purchased my home in Valley Stream.
Yes, the place is a little pricey. However, they’re the best around. When you get a far superior product, expect to pay a premium for it.
I haven’t had anything here that’s ever been bad. Salads are fresh, they have a variety of slices and they’re all good (regular, meatball, grandma, MARGHERITA, etc). Their chicken rolls are also out of this world and aren’t dry like most places.
Their bolognese sauce is second to none. Meatballs are also amazing. Garlic Knots… do yourself a favor and get an order every time you come in.
Quit with the complaining of it being a little more pricey. Do you really mind paying a few bucks more for much better quality/​taste?
Also, their lunch special prices are extremely fair for the amount of food you get.

I moved to Valley Stream almost a year ago. Love their pizza and the staff is friendly, provides good service and very welcoming! My pizza spot lol
