R&M Handyman Services

I have nothing but great things to say about R & M Handyman (Roberto). Roberto retiled our master shower. He did an outstanding job. It is so beautiful. This job included ripping out the sub-​floor, rebuilding it, repairing the ceiling below in the kitchen, where the water had leaked through. I am very pleased with the job and would recommend him to anyone.

I wouldn’t use Roberto if I were you. He is very unprofessional and he constantly blows off any responsibility for his actions. I requested an estimate for a large project on a redwood deck repair. Roberto came out to the house and looked everything over, and then told me he’d send me an estimate. After a week and a half, I followed up to ask where his estimate was, he said he’d texted the estimate (TO MY HOME LANDLINE PHONE) and didn’t understand that it doesn’t work that way… so I gave him my cell number, and about two days later he sent me a weird cryptic text message on my cell phone that I could barely make out what he was trying to say with a price (for the labor only). So I called him a second time, and he said he could do the work the following month. I was looking for a firm start date, and a formal written quote for the estimate to an email address, I gave him TWO email addresses to use this time, and yet I never got it. so I left messages, — he never called me back, I sent him two text messages… and nothing. So now– two months later… I’ve completely wasted my time, my deck is still in disrepair, and I really don’t appreciate being ignored and left high and dry with no communications. I’ve tried sending two more text messages, and two more phone calls, he’s ignored me both times. I’m done with him. I don’t think his work is bonded for damage insurance anyway. All he had to do is pick up his phone and CALL ME BACK.

Roberto is a very good handyman, really helped me with my broken door, replaced it the same day and for reasonable amount of money.
He’s local and finished planned job on time.
Highly recommend.

Being new to an area can difficult to find trust worthy company’s but I found R & M services on Unilocal and wow am I happy! Roberto does excellent work! He is reliable and fair, he is trustworthy and personable, I can’t say enough good things about him! We had several areas of drywall to be patched and needed to get it done fairly quickly. All the other handyman services couldn’t see us for 3 – 5 weeks. I called Roberto based on the one 5-​star Unilocal review from Sean. After I contacted Roberto on a Friday, he came the next
Monday for an estimate. He explained how he would repair each area and why he would do it that way. The way he explained it was very clear and showed that he had great craftsmanship and pride in his work. I needed him to come that Thursday and Friday and he worked it into his schedule and he gave us a very fair price. He kept in communication with me throughout the process, showed up on time and took great care with the project. I would recommend him 100% and would definitely hire him again for any repair jobs we have. Thank you Roberto! You are a life saver!

I have used Roberto for handyman work for over a half a decade now for rental and primary house fixes and updates. He has a vast knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, kitchen cabinets, tile, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend him for most any home improvement job — updates or fixes.
