AAA Automobile Club

Went there Saturday morning… They open from 10am to 2 pm. Parking was 90% full at 9:55am. People were walking in so I followed. There was about 20 people in a circular line inside the front lobby. They checked me in within a few minutes because most everyone behind a desk helped checked people in besides the front receptionists. I sat down for about two minutes and they called my name. The lady helped me transferring my personalized plates from my totaled car to my brand new car. I don’t remember her name, but she was businesslike and nice. I asked another question and she asked another guy for his expertise. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend aaa to everyone. I’ve been a member for many years for their roadside towing and other things.

Their DMV department is fantastic. Just make sure you bring cash or check. They don’t accept card payments for dmv transactions. They also have great deals on movie tickets

Great DMV experience, we were welcome warmly at the front desk. We were informed there is an express lane for the DMV and received great service there too! The entire trip was completed in less than 15 minutes– you guys rock & made our day!

The customer service is absolutely horrible. The lady who does alot of the DMV transactions, doesnt know what she is talking about and she has been there 4ever…

Had lots of problems with AAA as far as them making account errors and forgetting to call back in a timely manner. Although I have now left AAA insurance and taken my business elsewhere, if you choose AAA for your insurance purposes work with Justin! If this rating was for Justin I would give him 5 stars, he’s the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

This location has the worst customer service i just recently switched over to AAA, i managed to get my DL suspended because the necessary documents were not provided to the dmv and it’s taken them weeks to handle the issue. I’ve had to make all the calls myself, they will take days to call you back. Save yourself the time and headache and go to a different location.

When we built our home, from an empty lot, we went with and stayed loyal to AAA Home Insurance. What a mistake this was! We had FULL HOME INSURANCE; EVERYTHING was to be covered — and we ASSUMED it was — UNTIL WE HAD A CLAIM. Filing for a small leak in a bathroom was pain enough; which they EVENTUALLY came out for to fix. Not long after, as it turns out, that leak soaked into under my kitchen and the house foundation or supports. I began noticing the kitchen was «dipping» or sloping down then up again and had that checked out. As it turns out either they DIDN’T fix it good enough so that the leak stopped, or the leak had just weakened the supports under my kitchen’s marble. So again, I file a claim; a collapsing floor was DENIED. I appealed it — TWICE — AND DENIED.
So after being denied THREE TIMES, I’m suing AAA Home Insurance for over THREE MILLION DOLLARS — which may not even cover the extensive damage done (or left by them?)…

I have visited this location five times in the past three years. Three of the times, the front desk reception staff was very friendly and helpful. All three times the staff person was a clean cut young man with a nice smile. The other two times, the women who spoke to me were aloof and did not seem too interested in seeing that I would be directed to the services that I needed.
My sister came in to this office, and joined CSAA, at my urging. We were finally taken care of by Mr. Boozerman. It was a very long and difficult process but after 90 minutes she was a member, and was able to get the auto insurance that she was seeking.
It is more convenient to use this office than to go to the DMV [when you need DMV services],
IF you can get a parking space. Parking it VERY limited at this office. There does not seem to be any particular time of day when there are more spaces available than other times.
If they could somehow solve the very limited parking issue, this would be a great place to come to for your DMV and travel needs.

I love the discounted tickets, travel options, DMV station and friendly staff. Checking in at the front desk is always quick. Waiting for you to be called to handle your business is not too bad either. Many more travel options compared to Costco. However, if Costco offers the same or similar destination, book through Costco for a greater savings and added perks.

I went on vacation for my April 2015 birthday to Hawaii and visited AAA to make the arrangements. Lori Bright took extraordinary care of everything all the way through, suggesting restaurants, entertainment, rental car and accommodations and was extremely pleasant. I called her from Hawaii just to say «Thanks» and she still was ready with additional suggestions! Her exceptional service is without peer! Speaking to my barber, he told me that he had utilized Lori’s service previously and he was pleased with her expertise and follow through! I’m heading to Atlanta this weekend and called her for discounted parking coupons and needless to say they were in my mailbox two days latter! What a AAA asset Lori Bright is!!!

Horrible insurance company!!! I’m so frustrated with them. A guy ran into our brand new SUV we just bought it three months ago. He has AAA INSURANCE. He said it was his fault at the accident and the police report says its his fault, well AAA said the guy wait waited 3 weeks before calling them and then they said they have to go over everything to determined who’s fault it was. Even though the police report says it his fault and he told us it was his fault at the accident. They finally call and say they determined it his fault after a month of waiting… I’m still stuck at home with my twin two year old boys because AAA won’t pay for my rental car upfront they want me to pay out of my pocket and they said they’ll pay me back. I don’t have money to pay out of my pocket right now. I shouldn’t even have to. I’ve gone over one month without a vehicle because a guy didn’t stop and ran into us. AAA needs to get me a rental car and pay for it upfront. I’m so irritated.

i guess everyone has their own experiences with AAA but i have been a member for over 10 years and I have used them for tow services and they have always been really sweet and helpful. I have never had to wait longer then normal for a tow and the companies they use have always had nice drivers. They are always helpful when I need a DMV service or question answered. I use AAA, in place of the HORRIBLE DMV. As far as I am concerned these guys are the best, the tow services and DMV services is reason enough to pay for a membership… not to mention discounted movie tickets.

I’m a AAA member from Santa Maria in town to buy a car from my wife’s sister. Stopped by AAA office in Santa Clarita to utilize their DMV service to transfer title. Wait time was about 15 mins before someone was free to see us.
Addy, the AAA representative who assisted us, was absolutely great! Walked us through the title transfer and gave us our license plates. All told the entire encounter lasted about 30 mins.
So glad I have AAA.

So Cal AAA in general is great. If you take full advantage of all it has to offer you well make up for the cost of membership — even if you don’t get a tow! They can’t always beat insurance quotes but for travel and DMV they are a great resource.
The branch in Santa Clarita has been very helpful for me. I go in there anytime I need a map — yes sometimes they are still useful in the age of GPS and smartphone. They offer Tour Book for attractions and hotels and Trip Kits for planning out your travels.
My agent Bonnie Hiatt has always been great in assisting our travel plans. She always stays in contact with me and returns calls when she is away from her desk. She has a no pressure attitude but shows that she is working to get you a great deal.
Hate going to the DMV to register or change a last name or anything like that? BOOM, AAA has you covered. Need discount movie tickets? — YUP they got those. Add up the savings you can get at retail, auto, and hotel reservations and you will see why it’s a good deal.
Oh and besides the well know towing service they have a great battery replacement service too! For the same price of getting a battery at the big guy stores, most times cheaper, they will bring it out to you and install it for free. All with a warranty.

someone took my registration stickers of my vehicle and was dreading having to go to the DMV. So for weeks i just left the car in the garage until i could get the tags. I went to AAA hoping they could help on this and they actually did. 30 minutes later and i had my replacement stickers.

I can only speak for the travel side and I’ve got to say that I receive White Glove Service each time. The agents are very attentive and so such a pleasure to interact with.

AAA is the kind of thing I pay for all year and only use when I need it. So when your car breaks down and you have to wait THREE HOURS for a tow truck, you really start to question if you need AAA at all when they partner with lousy companies like this tow truck service.

Very friendly location. I went at 10a to take care of some vehicle registrations and I was directed to the dmv express lane and I was in and out in just a matter of minutes.
The employees are knowledgable about the company and go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of. Bringing your dmv stuff here really makes life easier!

I’ve given up on the AAA of Southern California. I’ve concluded the agents and district manager for insurance services are only concerned with inbound sales only. It makes sense… they are paid for sales only, not costumer service. My simple evidence– they don’t return calls. Its funny though, inbound calls are met with the agents’ message and then an invitation and number to call the manager if you need immediate help. He doesn’t return calls. It’s funny all these people who love AAA because they give you free maps.
