We didn’t get in until almost midnight, and upon opening the door to the room, we were assaulted with a very strong odor. After falling into bed we looked up at the ceiling to see a black and yellow moldy patch in the ceiling. We had no other option but to sleep there. The next morning they offered to cover it with plastic, but the room smelled very strongly so they provided another room that faced the freeway. I can’t give them 4 or 5 stars because they indicated they were aware of the problem before assigning us that room. Aside from that, this was an exchange through RCI, and the resort itself was very clean. Huge hot tub indoors with views of the mountains. Pool is outside and the surface around the pool is in need of maintenance, but signs indicate it is in progress. Pool is near freeway, so there is some freeway noise, but not enough to keep me from sleeping! Our room was very well stocked with everything you need to cook meals, and by request you can get a blender, crockpot etc. We stayed in a one bedroom which had a queen and twin sized bed. The couch also pulled out to a queen. It fit our family of 4 very well. Our original room had a large quiet patio with beautiful views and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Our 2nd room had a smaller noisier balcony, but with just as beautiful views. Vail is centrally located to a ton of great hiking and fishing spots. For a summer vacation, I would highly recommend it.

I stayed here with my family and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were stocked well, clean, and furnished well. The pool and hot tub area were recently renovated and very comfortable. Most importantly, the customer service here is OUTSTANDING! Near the end of our stay we got word that my mother was on her death bed and we needed to hop in the car and head to California. We had brought our bikes from Denver but were not looking forward to bringing them along and having to worry about storing them in hotel rooms and/or being stolen. I asked if they might be able to store our four bikes and they were very accommodating with no charge for the storage and no clear idea when we would be rolling back through town. They went above and beyond and lifted a huge load off our shoulders in a time of need.

Been coming here for years. It’s not brand spanking new but they’ve upgraded nicely. No complaints, but WiFi could be improved. I love the pool, sunny or snowy. Easy access to shuttles and Vail Village. Nice underground parking.
