KC Locksmithing

Just went here to get some keys made for a file cabinet in my work van. When you come in the door they have this fancy recording that will welcome you and let you know they will be with you shortly. Pretty snazzy as I couldn’t see the guy at first, as I was mesmerized by the glorious collection of keys on the wall. It’s kind of amazing in it’s own way when you think that there is a gazillion kinds of keys out there. This place is old school cool.
Anyway in the hot sweltering sun, the kind old gentleman sat in my van and tried to pull out the drawer to no avail. He was however able to remove the lock cylinder after 10 minutes or so. He asked me to come back in an hour and it would be $ 25.
I came back in 1.5 hours and sure enough it was ready. This time the old chap was accompanied by a handsome young man (I am getting old to be talking like this) who reinstalled my lock and tested it to make sure it worked on both drawers. I tried the key and it worked just fine.
Great, prompt service by a local business at a fair cost. They have all kinds of fancy designs for house keys as well… Might have to get me one of those next time! I highly recommend your patronage to this place for all your locksmith needs. :)

I called the company for a quote and ending up really disappointed with their customer service. There are too many options out their to patronize a business that cant even take a call appropriately. The lady that I spoke with was rude and just tried to rush me off the phone before I could even ask my question. They might be good with locks but not so good with people.

I’m not usually the type of person that writes reviews… but my experience with K.C. Locksmith was so great that I had to come on Unilocal and give them a shout out. Not only did they do a fast, efficient job, their rates were VERY reasonable. I recommend them highly.

These Guys are local Fair in price. Honest and Reliable Work. I would Use them again.

Didn’t end up using them and went with another company, which I regret, because they had excellent phone service and outlined their prices very well over the phone. I will definitely use them next time I have troubles with locks.
Their after hours charge is 95 and is normally 40 during their regular work hours. 10.50 per hour of work and 20 dollars to drill a hole. I really regret not using this company.

We usually use a different locksmith, but they were closed today so I stopped here. They fixed my lock in 2 minutes and it only cost $ 8.95. What a great experience!

Steve was amazing. He was professional, on time and even pointed out that the previous owner had the locks 3/​8″ off causing key issues.

My dear fiancé misplaced the keys to our vehicle, which also had a gas cap key on the same ring. I took the gas cap key to 2 other places here in town and they were unable to duplicate the key. For the vehicle key, I called the auto dealership and they said that it would be $ 30 for a replacement key. That was quite high, so I went to KC Locksmithing to see if they could make another gas cap key and also asked if they could make a vehicle key for me. Thankfully, they were able to make both, so I had them make TWO sets just in case we get into this situation of misplacing keys again, 4 keys for under $ 14, MUCH cheaper than only getting one copy of one key I needed through the auto dealership. The gas cap key they duplicated fit into our gas cap better than the horrible key provided with the gas cap when we purchased it. Also, the worker that made my key also came out to my car with me to make sure they worked. Very friendly and excellent service, I am glad to keep my business local and will go to them for all of my key and lock needs. Thank you so much for your help!

I called for help and I got stood up! When I called to find out where the guy was, they said that there was a misccomunication and he forgot to write down my address and he supposedly didn’t have my phone number, which I find very hard to believe. He came out and helped me but I will never use this company again! Very poor service!
