A roadrunner, twenty baby quail, desert rabbits, morning doves greeted us this morning in this rustic, end of days style motel. See it while you can, this leftover from rhe 50s cannot compete with the big box hotels that have sprung up in 29 palms. A beautiful pool and extremely hot spa will not save it.

W enjoyed our stay the rooms are the biggest I have see in 29 Palms hotels and have a kitchenette. The lodge is old and shows age, but it was comfortable and the A/C keeps the room comfortable 68 for me. The owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Help keep the mom & pop businesses open.

This isn’t the swankiest place in town, but it’s authentic and pleasant. A bunch of my family stayed here over the weekend. The rooms are large and many(all?) include a substantial kitchenette. The pool area and courtyard are beautiful, complete with hot tub and barbecue and beautiful flowering plants. The televisions in the rooms have spotty programming and slightly malfunctioning remotes. The proprietor is very friendly and accommodating. He even allowed us to have a family barbecue in courtyard which included some non-guests. Breakfast includes coffee, orange juice, toast, bagels, cream cheese, butter, and preserves. All was fresh and there were plenty of toasters. This is the perfect alternative to all the chain hotels around. Plus it’s further from the highway.

My fiancée and I travel a lot for business and have stayed at dozens of hotels in the past few years. This place is not the Marriott, the Westin or the Holiday Inn, but I would prefer to stay here. After a terrible experience at the Country Inn in 29 Palms, I drove around looking for a new«extended stay» place. I stumbled upon this place, and the owner, Gavinda, gave me a full tour of the grounds. I stopped at a few other places and was just tossed a key by whoever was at the desk. Gavinda takes pride in his place and the hospitality is unmatched. There is lush greenery, palm trees, rabbits running around in the parking area, a poolside grill and hot tub. I loved it. The full kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils, which was awesome. It’s set back just far enough from the highway that the only thing I heard in the morning was birds. It was like staying with an old friend. The décor is homey and comfortable, the room we stayed in had a large couch, coffee table and a recliner. The bedding was soft and comfy, the bed was awesome, and Gavinda even offered to change the mattress if it wasn’t firm enough. The closet was large enough to tuck away our suitcases, clothes, shoes, there was a full dresser, cable and internet. The Circle C is not sterile looking or feeling. It’s got real character, real comfort, and I will stay here again if I find myself in 29 again! The weather was pretty mild when we were here, but I hear the summers are blazing hot. I imagine this is the place you wanna stay at– there is ample shade and the rooms are equipped with powerful AC units, as well as heaters for the cold desert nights. I loved this place. Stay here!

The allure of Circle C is not insomuch as in what you will find, as it is in what you shouldn’t find. This doesn’t seem to me, like where you would find your typical weekend party crowd. If I had to describe the Circle C in one word, it would be «homey», but not in the ghetto sense. The décor is eclectic, very clean and comfortable. The owners are extremely accommodating and very friendly. WARNING: If you’re accustomed to the Ritz, this isn’t the place for you. But if you long for something besides the standard Best Western/Holiday Inn cookie cutter rooms, check in at the Circle C(for a reasonable rate) and settle in. This is not your normal style of room, but it is very reminiscent of where I grew up. A bigger room than I expected, with a full kitchenette. Cook your own dinner and feast by the in-ground pool & jacuzzi. 1 of the 2 doorways leading into the ‘breakfast room’ wasn’t working. Since the door opens inward, it makes for an inconvenient entrance for whomever may be sitting at the table located mere inches from the entry. Breakfast fare included an assortment of bagged Stater Bros bagels, bagged Stater Bros English muffins, 1 tray of mini cherry filled turnovers from Stater Bros, a carton of Stater Bros OJ, a carton of milk, and fresh coffee. Foliage in the pool area could use a manicure. I’ll bring the hedge trimmers next time.

Nice place to stay if you like to be able to cook your own food. Small, serviceable kitchen. Recommend you bring your own sharp knives. Also a pot with a like if you want to make rice.
