History
Established in 2005.
Community Health Connection was established in 2005 to provide care for Tulsa residents without access to culturally sensitive/language appropriate, accessible and affordable and affordable healthcare. Its development was a strategic response to community need and requests from local residents, and was accomplished through the active involvement of Tulsa’s safety net providers who recognized the need for additional options for Tulsa’s medically underserved.
With a designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center, Community Health Connection is part of the largest network of primary care providers in the United States. Health centers like Community Health Connection provide the highest quality of care at an efficient cost per patient. In addition, they are an economic engine, employing people from the community and pouring dollars back into the community.
