History

Established in 2010.

Tank’s Green Stuff is a division of the Fairfax Companies, a recycling company in Tucson, specializing in recycling construction debris (as well as plastic, metal, cardboard, and many other materials).

The large amount of green landscape debris created in Tucson from our homes, businesses, landscapes and other green spaces was the inspiration for Tank’s Green Stuff. Recycling a natural resource into valuable landscape materials that are healthy for people, plants, and the environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Jason T.

Business Owner

«My goals are:

To make or create local markets for waste materials currently disposed of in construction waste landfills.

To use waste materials to create green products that can be sold throughout the community. Using those materials and products to create local sustainable manufacturing jobs, renewable energy, and foundations for „green“ construction.

To assist local governmental and private institutions in Tucson to help them reduce water consumption by switching from petro chemical fertilizers to organic soil amendments created from urban green waste.

To aid other business in creating a green sustainable economy in the Southwest in order to use as a model for other municipalities.»
